Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of natural plant component extraction, in particular to an extraction method of safflor pigment and application thereof in novel tobacco, wherein after natural safflor pigment is extracted, food-grade ethanol is used as a solvent to dissolve the natural safflor pigment into a mass concentration of 0.5-5%, and the natural safflor pigment is added according to 1.0-2.0mg/g in the process of producing reconstituted tobacco sheet bases by a paper-making method. The method adds natural saffron pigment into the reconstituted tobacco, improves the color stability of the reconstituted tobacco, and simultaneously has an improvement effect on the absorbability of the reconstituted tobacco; the invention has simple process and convenient operation, and can enhance the penetrating power of the solvent by utilizing the multi-stage effect generated by ultrasonic waves, such as strong disturbance effect, cavitation effect, crushing, stirring action and the like, thereby promoting the beneficial components to enter the solvent, greatly shortening the extraction time, effectively improving the extraction rate of the saffron pigment, and achieving the extraction efficiency of 0.5-2.5%.

The invention aims to provide an application and a preparation method of saffron natural pigment in tobacco.
In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the technical scheme that: the application of the saffron natural pigment in the tobacco is characterized in that after the natural saffron pigment is extracted, edible 95% (v/v) ethanol is used as a solvent to dissolve the natural saffron pigment into the mass concentration of 0.5-5%, such as 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%, 2.5%, 3.0%, 3.5%, 4.0%, 4.5% and 5.0%, and during the production of reconstituted tobacco sheets by a papermaking method, the natural saffron pigment is added according to the ratio of 1.0-2.0mg/g, such as 1.0mg/g, 1.1mg/g, 1.2mg/g, 1.3mg/g, 1.4mg/g, 1.5mg/g, 1.6mg/g, 1.7mg/g, 1.8mg/g, 1.9mg/g and 2.0 mg/g.

Application examples
1. Evaluation of color matching effect of safflor crocin on reconstituted tobacco leaf base
The base toning effect of the reconstituted tobacco leaves obtained in the three groups of examples is analyzed without adding the saffron natural pigment, and the results are shown in table 1.

As can be seen from the table above, the natural saffron pigment has the function of toning the reconstituted tobacco base.
2. Evaluation of influence of safflor pigment on stability of reconstituted tobacco sheet base pigment
And selecting the reconstituted tobacco sheet bases prepared by the three methods in the embodiment, selecting three groups of reconstituted tobacco sheet bases prepared by a conventional method (without adding safflor pigment), respectively placing the reconstituted tobacco sheet bases in dark and dark, natural illumination and strong light illumination incubators, processing for 30d, and detecting the color change of the reconstituted tobacco.
Under different treatment conditions, the color difference change of the reconstituted tobacco is obviously increased along with the increase of the illumination intensity and the prolonging of the treatment time, but the color difference of the reconstituted tobacco added with the natural saffron pigment is smaller than that of the reconstituted tobacco not added with the control group. Under the dark and dark conditions, the color difference of the reconstituted tobacco added with and not added with the natural saffron pigment is 3.46 and 8.72 respectively after 30 days, the color difference of the reconstituted tobacco is not large, and the pigment is slowly degraded; under the condition of natural light treatment, the color difference between the reconstituted tobacco added with the saffron pigment and the reconstituted tobacco not added with the saffron pigment is respectively 9.85 and 15.35 after 30 days; under the condition of strong light treatment, the color difference between the reconstituted tobacco added with the natural saffron pigment after 30 days and the reconstituted tobacco not added with the natural saffron pigment is respectively 18.85 and 20.36, and the color degradation is obvious. Statistical analysis shows that under different treatment conditions of darkness, light, natural illumination, strong light and the like, the influence of the added and not-added natural saffron pigment on the pigment stability of the reconstituted tobacco leaves shows very obvious difference.
3. Influence of safflor pigment on smoking quality of reconstituted tobacco products
The reconstituted tobacco base sheets produced in examples 1 to 3 were selected, added to conventional cut tobacco for cigarettes in a proportion of 5%, while a blank control was set, and then prepared into conventional cigarettes for smoking quality evaluation, with the results shown in table 2 below.
