The formaldehyde scavenger is preferably prepared into a spray, is sprayed by a small handheld sprayer, captures and clears aldehyde substances by physical adsorption and chemical combination, and has the characteristics of large removal range, high removal efficiency, convenience in use and high safety.

The current common formaldehyde pollution control methods include ventilation, plant decomposition, adsorption purification, membrane absorption, oxidation purification, photocatalytic purification and the like, wherein the physical and chemical adsorption purification method is widely used for indoor formaldehyde treatment due to high efficiency and convenient use. Persimmon tannin belongs to condensed tannin, and is a tannin substance extracted from persimmon, and the content of the tannin substance in persimmon peel is the largest. The persimmon tannin is used as a main component of the formaldehyde scavenger, contains a large amount of phenolic hydroxyl groups, and has strong reaction activity. Cysteine hydrochloride is an important substance which has physiological functions and widely exists in the nature, is an amino acid which is used for preventing harmful substances and increasing the activity of tissue cells in the bodies of animals and plants, is one of more than 20 amino acids which form protein, is the only amino acid with active sulfydryl (-SH), and can react and combine with formaldehyde to achieve the effect of removing the formaldehyde. The water soluble chitosan is a high molecular polymer, the chemical structure of which is a polymer of hexose, and the water soluble chitosan can form a chain colloid in an aqueous solution, the molecular weight can reach more than 100 ten thousand, and the molecular size is 30 to 100 ten thousand times of odor molecules such as formaldehyde, ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and the like.
