Specifically, a main domain controller of the fault diagnosis system is equivalent to a gateway, each sub-domain controller is connected and communicated with the main domain controller through an ethernet, each electronic control unit is connected and communicated with the main domain controller through a whole vehicle bus (for example, a CAN bus), a diagnosis interface is connected and communicated with the main domain controller through the whole vehicle bus, and at least one electronic control unit is correspondingly controlled in a corresponding domain of each sub-domain controller; for any electronic control unit, when the electronic control unit has a fault, the electronic control unit generates a corresponding bus signal according to the current fault state and a preset fault signal definition value, encapsulates the generated bus signal into a corresponding event frame message, and sends n frame event frame messages to a sub-domain controller which controls the electronic control unit; for any sub-domain controller, when the sub-domain controller receives n frames of event frame messages sent by any electronic control unit controlled in a corresponding domain through a main domain controller, the sub-domain controller analyzes the received n frames of event frame messages and correspondingly obtains bus signals of the electronic control unit, so that fault confirmation and fault information management are carried out on the electronic control unit according to the obtained bus signals, wherein the fault information comprises a DTC fault code; the diagnostic equipment is connected to the fault diagnosis system through the diagnostic interface, and diagnoses any one sub-domain controller in the fault diagnosis system through the diagnostic protocol and the main domain controller so as to correspondingly process fault information in the sub-domain controller.
In the embodiment of the invention, each electronic control unit is connected to a main domain controller through a CAN bus network, each sub-domain controller is connected to the main domain controller through an Ethernet, and the main domain controller is equivalent to a gateway and used for forwarding data transmitted between the electronic control unit and the sub-domain controller.
It should be noted that each electronic control unit is preset with a fault signal definition value, for example, a certain bit is "0" to indicate no fault occurs, and a bit is "1" to indicate fault occurrence, and each time a fault occurs, a corresponding bus signal is generated according to the current fault state and the preset fault signal definition value, and the bus signal is encapsulated into a corresponding event frame message, and n frames (for example, n is 3) of event frame messages are sent to the corresponding sub-domain controller, and the messages are cleared each time the sub-domain controller wakes up.

The invention provides a fault diagnosis method based on a domain controller, a main domain controller is equivalent to a gateway, a sub-domain controller carries out fault confirmation and fault information management on an electronic control unit controlled in a corresponding domain through the main domain controller, and a diagnosis device can diagnose the sub-domain controller and process fault information at the same time only through a diagnosis interface and the main domain controller, thereby realizing the function of the sub-domain controller and the fault diagnosis on the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain, and a fault diagnosis module is not required to be arranged for each single sub-control unit, thereby effectively improving the diagnosis efficiency of a vehicle-mounted ECU, saving the time and the cost of the ECU diagnosis of a whole vehicle, simultaneously, sub-modules such as the electronic control unit and the like do not need the requirement of EEPROM storage, and realizing the unified interface of providing fault diagnosis service by the sub-domain controller of the corresponding domain, therefore, more abnormal fault judgment can be realized, the complexity of fault diagnosis of submodules such as an electronic control unit and the like can be reduced, and the fault diagnosis in a wider range can be realized.
In another preferred embodiment, the sub-domain controller performs fault confirmation and fault information management on any one of the electronic control units controlled in the corresponding domain by:
carrying out fault confirmation on the electronic control unit according to the obtained state information of the bus signal, and storing fault information of the electronic control unit after the fault is confirmed; wherein the state information at least comprises a signal length, a signal name and a signal definition value of the bus signal.
Specifically, with reference to the foregoing embodiment, after obtaining the corresponding bus signal from the n-frame event frame messages through parsing, each sub-domain controller performs fault confirmation on the electronic control unit that sends the n-frame event frame messages according to the state information of the bus signal, and stores the fault information of the electronic control unit after confirming the fault.
It should be noted that the status information of the bus signal at least includes the signal length, the signal name, and the signal definition value of the bus signal, and for example, whether the corresponding electronic control unit has a fault or not may be determined according to the signal definition value in the bus signal, and which fault the corresponding electronic control unit sends may be determined according to the signal name in the bus signal.
In another preferred embodiment, the sub-domain controller manages fault information of any one of the electronic control units controlled in the corresponding domain by:
managing the fault information of the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain through a preset fault DTC table; the fault DTC table at least comprises ID information, name information, message sending period, message length and DTC fault codes of the electronic control unit.
Specifically, with reference to the above embodiment, after determining that any one electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain has a fault, each sub-domain controller manages fault information of the electronic control unit according to a preset fault DTC table, for example, the fault information is correspondingly stored in the fault DTC table and is correspondingly recorded as a current fault, and after each sleep wake-up, all the fault information is history fault information.
It should be noted that the fault DTC table at least includes ID information, name information, message sending period, message length, and DTC fault code of the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain of each sub-domain controller.
In another preferred embodiment, the main domain controller and the sub domain controller are pre-assigned with diagnostic IDs; the diagnosis equipment diagnoses any sub-domain controller to correspondingly process the fault information by the following steps:
and identifying the main domain controller and the sub domain controller through the diagnosis ID, and diagnosing any sub domain controller through the main domain controller so as to read or/and clear the fault information.
Specifically, with reference to the foregoing embodiment, the main domain controller and each sub-domain controller are pre-assigned with a diagnostic ID, and the diagnostic device may identify the main domain controller and each sub-domain controller through the diagnostic ID, and diagnose any one sub-domain controller through the main domain controller after the identification, so as to read or/and clear the fault information stored in the sub-domain controller, where the diagnostic protocol used by the diagnostic device is a fault diagnostic protocol commonly used in the prior art, and is not described in detail again.
It CAN be understood that the main domain controller may also identify each sub-domain controller by the diagnostic ID, and assign a corresponding transmission ID to the event frame message reported to the CAN bus by the electronic control unit, so that the sub-domain controller obtains the event frame message of the transmission ID after detecting the transmission ID corresponding to the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain, thereby ensuring correct communication between the sub-domain controller and the electronic control unit.
As a refinement of the above solution, the electronic control unit comprises at least one of: the system comprises a PEPS control unit, an FDCM control unit, a BCM control unit, a VCU control unit, a BMS control unit and a TBOX communication module.
Specifically, in combination with the above embodiments, a plurality of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) are disposed in the vehicle network topology, for example, a PEPS Control Unit (i.e., Passive Entry Passive Start, keyless Entry and Start system), an FDCM Control Unit (i.e., a vehicle door Control module), a BCM Control Unit (i.e., a vehicle body Control module), a VCU Control Unit (i.e., a vehicle Control module), a BMS Control Unit (i.e., a power management Control system), a TBOX communication module, and the like.
It can be understood that a plurality of sub-domain controllers, such as a vehicle body domain controller, a power domain controller, an auxiliary driving domain controller, an entertainment domain controller and the like, are further arranged in the overall vehicle network topology architecture, and each sub-domain controller governs at least one electronic control unit, such as a vehicle body sub-domain controller for controlling and managing the BCM control unit.
In summary, the system and the method for fault diagnosis based on the domain controller provided by the embodiments of the present invention have the following beneficial effects:
the electronic control unit is connected to the main domain controller through a whole vehicle bus, the sub-domain controller is connected and communicated with the main domain controller through an Ethernet, the electronic control unit and the diagnosis interface are respectively connected and communicated with the main domain controller through the whole vehicle bus, the sub-domain controller correspondingly controls at least one electronic control unit, wherein the main domain controller is equivalent to a gateway, the sub-domain controller performs fault confirmation and fault information management on the electronic control unit controlled in a corresponding domain through the main domain controller, and the diagnosis equipment can diagnose the sub-domain controller and process fault information at the same time only through the diagnosis interface and the main domain controller, thereby realizing the functions of the sub-domain controller and the fault diagnosis on the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain, and effectively improving the diagnosis efficiency of the vehicle-mounted ECU without arranging a fault diagnosis module for each single sub-control unit, the time and the cost of ECU diagnosis of the whole vehicle are saved, meanwhile, the sub-modules of the electronic control unit and the like do not need the requirement of EEPROM storage, the unified interface providing fault diagnosis service by the sub-domain controller of the corresponding domain can be realized, so that more abnormal fault judgment can be realized, the complexity of fault diagnosis of the sub-modules of the electronic control unit and the like can be reduced, the fault diagnosis in a wider range can be realized, the diagnosis data of the system is uniformly managed by the sub-domain controller, and the reliable intuitive data of the system can be provided for users, such as good, better, common and poor states.

The domain controller-based fault diagnosis system according to claim 1, wherein the sub-domain controller is specifically configured to perform fault confirmation on the electronic control units according to the obtained status information of the bus signals, and to store fault information of the electronic control units after confirming the fault; wherein the state information at least comprises a signal length, a signal name and a signal definition value of the bus signal.

The domain controller-based fault diagnosis system according to claim 1, wherein the sub-domain controller is specifically configured to manage fault information of the electronic control units controlled in the corresponding domain through a preset fault DTC table; the fault DTC table at least comprises ID information, name information, message sending period, message length and DTC fault codes of the electronic control unit.

The domain controller-based fault diagnosis system of claim 1, wherein the main domain controller and the sub domain controller are previously assigned with diagnosis IDs; the diagnostic device is specifically configured to identify the main domain controller and the sub domain controller by the diagnostic ID, and diagnose any one of the sub domain controllers by the main domain controller to read or/and clear the fault information.

A domain controller based fault diagnosis system according to any of the claims 1 to 4, characterized in that said electronic control unit comprises at least one of the following: the system comprises a PEPS control unit, an FDCM control unit, a BCM control unit, a VCU control unit, a BMS control unit and a TBOX communication module.
6. A fault diagnosis method based on a domain controller, which is suitable for the fault diagnosis system based on the domain controller according to any one of claims 1 to 5; the method comprises the following steps:
when the electronic control unit fails, generating a bus signal according to the current fault state and a preset fault signal definition value, and generating an event frame message according to the generated bus signal so as to send n frames of event frame messages to the corresponding sub-domain controller; wherein n > 1;
when the sub-domain controller receives n frames of event frame messages sent by any electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain through the main domain controller, the sub-domain controller acquires corresponding bus signals according to the n frames of event frame messages, and performs fault confirmation and fault information management on the electronic control unit according to the acquired bus signals; wherein the fault information comprises a DTC fault code;
and the diagnosis equipment diagnoses any one sub-domain controller through the main domain controller so as to correspondingly process the fault information.
7. The domain controller-based fault diagnosis method according to claim 6, wherein the sub-domain controller performs fault confirmation and fault information management for any one of the electronic control units controlled within the corresponding domain by:
carrying out fault confirmation on the electronic control unit according to the obtained state information of the bus signal, and storing fault information of the electronic control unit after the fault is confirmed; wherein the state information at least comprises a signal length, a signal name and a signal definition value of the bus signal.
8. The domain controller-based fault diagnosis method according to claim 6, wherein the sub-domain controller performs fault information management on any one of the electronic control units controlled within a corresponding domain by:
managing the fault information of the electronic control unit controlled in the corresponding domain through a preset fault DTC table; the fault DTC table at least comprises ID information, name information, message sending period, message length and DTC fault codes of the electronic control unit.

The domain controller-based fault diagnosis method of claim 6, wherein the main domain controller and the sub domain controller are previously assigned diagnosis IDs; the diagnosis equipment diagnoses any sub-domain controller to correspondingly process the fault information by the following steps:
