Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to specific embodiments.
The invention provides an oil-absorbing and water-repellent diatomite filter aid which is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight:
60-80 parts of diatomite, 5-20 parts of white oil and 5-20 parts of EVA;
the diatomite is a main adsorption medium, has high porosity and can effectively adsorb various impurities in the medium to be treated. The diatomite in the invention is calcined diatomite, and the permeability of the diatomite can be improved by calcining.
The particle size of the diatomite is 20-40 meshes, and when the particle size is smaller than 40 meshes, the specific surface area of the diatomite is too large, so that the diatomite is easy to adsorb water and sink in water; when the particle size is larger than 20 meshes, the specific surface area is small, and oil stains are difficult to be effectively adsorbed. The diatomaceous earth may have a particle size of 20 to 25 mesh, 25 to 30 mesh, 25 to 32 mesh, 32 to 38 mesh, for example, but not limited thereto. The diatomaceous earth may have a bulk density of 0.5 to 0.8g/mL, and may be exemplified by 0.5g/mL, 0.6g/mL, and 0.8g/mL, but is not limited thereto.
Specifically, in the diatomaceous earth of the present invention, SiO2The content is 45-70 wt%; SiO in diatomite2The higher the content is, the higher the purity is, the higher the porosity is, the stronger the adsorptivity is, the more the amount of the agent required for modification is, and the higher the modification difficulty is. But when SiO2When the content is less than 45 wt%, the content of impurities in the diatomaceous earth is excessive, and the adsorbability is poor. Exemplary, SiO2The content of (B) is 45 wt%, 48 wt%, 52 wt%, 54 wt%, 65 wt%, 75 wt%, but not limited thereto. Preferably, SiO2The content is 50-55 wt%, and the diatomite can be combined with each other in a small range during roasting to form integral particles with relatively high strength and can not be rapidly decomposed after soaking in water.
Specifically, in the present invention, the diatomaceous earth contains an alkali earth metal oxide RO (e.g., CaO, MgO, etc.) and an alkali metal oxide R2O (such as K)2O、Na2O, etc.) in the amount of 3 to 4.5 wt%. The alkaline earth metal and the alkali metal mainly play a role of fluxing, so that the diatomite is combined in a small range in the calcining process to form integral particles with relatively large strength. Preferably, in the diatomaceous earth of the present invention, the content of the alkaline earth metal oxide RO is1 to 1.5 wt%, illustratively 1.1 wt%, 1.3 wt%, 1.4 wt%, but not limited thereto. Alkali metal oxide R2The content of O is 2.2 to 2.5 wt%, and exemplary is 2.2 wt%, 2.3 wt%, 2.4 wt%, but not limited thereto. If the content of RO is more than 1.5 wt%, the diatomite particles are easy to adhere to each other in the calcining process, the porosity of the filter aid is greatly reduced, the adsorption performance of the filter aid is weakened, the oil absorption is reduced, and if the content of RO is less than 1 wt%, the strength of the filter aid is poor and the filter aid is easy to decompose when meeting water.
Specifically, in the present invention, the diatomaceous earth is used in an amount of 60 to 80 parts, illustratively 62 parts, 65 parts, 70 parts, 74 parts, 78 parts, 80 parts, but is not limited thereto. Preferably, the amount of diatomaceous earth is 70 to 80 parts.
The EVA (ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer) has the advantages of no water absorption and good water resistance, and can resist seawater corrosion; according to the invention, EVA is combined on the surface of calcined diatomite particles through a specific mixing process, so that the filter aid has a water-repellent function, is not dispersed in seawater, and provides good conditions for the filter aid to fully disperse and absorb oil stains in seawater.
Specifically, the EVA in the invention has the vinyl acetate content of 35-43 wt%, the softening point of the EVA is relatively low (100-. Illustratively, the content of vinyl acetate in EVA is 35 wt%, 37 wt%, 38 wt%, 41 wt%, but is not limited thereto.
Specifically, in the present invention, the EVA is used in an amount of 5 to 20 parts, illustratively 5 parts, 7 parts, 11 parts, 14 parts, 18 parts, 20 parts, but is not limited thereto. Preferably, the EVA is used in an amount of 5 to 10 parts.
Wherein, the white oil refers to a mixture of liquid hydrocarbons obtained after petroleum refining, which can enhance the adsorption performance of the diatomite filter aid. Preferably, No. 15 white oil or No. 32 white oil is selected; more preferably, No. 15 white oil is selected.
Specifically, in the present invention, the white oil is used in an amount of 5 to 20 parts, illustratively 5 parts, 8 parts, 11 parts, 15 parts, 18 parts, 20 parts, but is not limited thereto.
The diatomite filter aid formulation of the present invention may further comprise some conventional additives, such as surfactants, but not limited thereto. Preferably, the diatomite filter aid in the present invention consists of only diatomite (calcined), EVA and white oil.
Correspondingly, the invention also discloses a preparation method of the oil-absorbing and water-repellent diatomite filter aid, which comprises the following steps:
s1: calcining the diatomite at 900-1200 ℃ to obtain calcined diatomite;
specifically, the calcination temperature may be 900 ℃, 950 ℃, 1000 ℃, 1100 ℃, but is not limited thereto. Preferably, the calcination temperature is 1000-1100 ℃.
S2: and uniformly mixing the calcined diatomite, the white oil and the EVA to obtain the finished product of the oil-absorbing and water-repellent diatomite filter aid.
Specifically, step S2 includes:
s21: mixing EVA and white oil, and heating to 160 ℃ while stirring to obtain a first mixture;
by heating the EVA and the white oil, the viscosity of the EVA and the white oil can be reduced, and the EVA and the white oil can be conveniently mixed with calcined diatomite. Specifically, the heating temperature may be 125 ℃, 130 ℃, 140 ℃, 150 ℃, but is not limited thereto.
S22: and heating the calcined diatomite to the temperature of 100-130 ℃, then adding the calcined diatomite into the first mixture, stirring and mixing for 0.5-1h, and reducing the temperature to the normal temperature to obtain the finished product of the oil-absorbing and water-repellent diatomite filter aid.
Correspondingly, the invention also discloses a practical method of the oil-absorbing and water-repellent diatomite filter aid, which comprises the following steps: the oil-absorbing water-repellent diatomite filter aid is directly thrown into a medium to be treated, and is directly collected and removed after being absorbed for a preset time, and the diatomite filter aid is easy to remove because the diatomite filter aid floats on the water surface and is 20-40 meshes of particles. Preferably, the medium to be treated in the invention is port oily sewage, the oil content of which is less than or equal to 50000ppm, the oily sewage has low oil content, the conventional method has high treatment difficulty and high treatment cost; the diatomite filter aid can be quickly and effectively removed, and the treatment cost is greatly reduced.
