Description
The invention relates to a hinge blade for a hinge for the articulated connection of a wing to a frame about a hinge axis, comprising at least one fitting part that can be fastened to the wing or the frame, and comprising at least one hinge part that can be mounted on the fitting part. The invention also relates to a hinge comprising such a hinge leaf.
A hinge with such hinge leaves is known from WO 2007/028497 a 1. The hinge and/or the fitting are designed in such a way that the hinge can be fixed to the fitting in different positions, so that the vertical distance of the hinge axis from the fitting can be varied. In this way, the wing can be adjusted perpendicular to the hinge axis, which is also referred to as "horizontal adjustment". However, it is disadvantageous that an adjustment parallel to the hinge axis, also referred to as a "vertical adjustment", cannot be performed with the hinge leaf of such a hinge.
It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a hinge blade which is suitable for adjusting a wing in a frame in a direction extending parallel to a hinge axis.
This object is achieved by a hinge leaf having the features of claim 1 and by a hinge having the features of claim 10.
With the hinge blade according to the invention, one of the fitting and the hinge, in other words either the fitting or the hinge, comprises a slot with an undercut of a longitudinal axis and a threaded hole defining a rotation axis, wherein the longitudinal axis and the rotation axis extend parallel to the hinge axis. An adjusting shaft is provided which is screwed into the threaded bore and has an end face configured as a support surface. In addition, the other of the fitting and the hinge, which has no undercut groove and threaded bore, comprises a projection which engages in the groove and an abutment surface against which a support surface of the threaded shaft can abut. Due to these features, for the assembled hinge leaf, the support face of the adjustment shaft abuts against the abutment face. For the vertical adjustment of the wing in the frame, it is merely necessary to move the threaded shaft in the direction of the axis of rotation by a rotary operation, since the articulation is thereby moved parallel to the articulation axis. In addition to the particularly simple vertical adjustability of the leaf in the frame, the hinge leaf according to the invention also offers the advantage that the hinge element can be fixed to the fitting by simple displacement in the direction of the hinge axis, by virtue of the projection being inserted into the groove in the direction of the longitudinal axis. The expenditure associated with the assembly of the hinge element according to the invention and the hinge equipped with such a hinge element is therefore small.
A variant of the invention is particularly preferred in which the groove is provided in the fitting and the projection is provided in the hinge. In this way, the distance between the axis of rotation of the threaded shaft and the articulation axis is maximized, without thereby incurring an increase in manufacturing or assembly expenditure. A maximization of the distance of the axis of rotation to the hinge axis is desirable, since thereby the accessibility of the threaded spindle is improved, for example for the purpose of rotational operation.
It is particularly preferred that the threaded bore is machined into the groove and extends from one end of the groove over at least a portion of its length. The internal thread of the threaded bore thus does not extend over a full circle, but only over one or more circular arcs, in which the cross section of the threaded bore is not located in the cross section of the undercut groove. Surprisingly, it has been found that the filament red is generally held in such a hole in spite of the lack of a threaded peripheral region in a sufficiently stable manner in order to be able to transmit the holding force introduced into the fastening element to the frame via the threaded shaft without any damage.
Particularly preferred is a configuration of the hinge leaf according to the invention in which the abutment face of the hinge is formed by a surface of the projection extending transversely to the longitudinal axis. This preferred embodiment is distinguished by particularly low manufacturing expenditure.
The threaded shaft is particularly preferably designed as a threaded stud. The threaded spindle preferably has means for accommodating a rotary tool, in particular an inner polygon or an inner circle, for example an inner hexagon or an inner hexagon, or an inner hexagon. For narrow space conditions, the inner dodecagonal or inner dodecagonal design is particularly preferred, since the respective rotary tool can then engage the threaded bolt at an angular offset of 30 ° about the axis of rotation.
A particularly preferred embodiment of the hinge leaf according to the invention comprises two fittings which are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the hinge axis and, in correspondence therewith, two hinges which are spaced apart from one another in the direction of the hinge axis. This particularly preferred embodiment thus relates to an (at least) three-part hinge, wherein a further hinge leaf is provided with a further hinge part which engages in the distance formed between the two hinge parts and preferably at least virtually completely bridges this distance. For such a three-part hinge, the hinge leaf with the two hinges is usually a frame hinge leaf and the other hinge leaf is a wing hinge leaf.
The hinge preferably includes a receptacle for a hinge pin defining the hinge axis. In the simplest case, the hinge pin is a cylindrical rod which can be inserted and fixed in the direction of the hinge axis into a receptacle which is circular in cross section in the simplest case. The installability of the hinge comprising the hinge leaf according to the invention and the suspension of the wing can also be significantly simplified if the hinge pin, as is particularly preferred, divides in a plane extending transversely to the hinge axis two longitudinal sections configured with ends facing each other and, when the hinge has been assembled or the wing has been suspended, the ends facing each other are in form-fitting engagement. If the hinge leaf according to the invention is a hinge leaf of a three-part hinge, the suspension of the leaf can be carried out in a simple manner by first fixing the lower of the two hinges to the fitting and inserting one of the two parts of the two-part hinge pin into the respective receptacle of the hinge and fixing it. Subsequently, the other hinge bridging the distance between the two hinges can be pushed over the region of the lower section of the hinge pin projecting from the lower hinge, after which the leaf fixed to this other hinge is first suspended and is thus positioned. The other, in this case upper section of the hinge pin can then be pushed into the receptacle of the other hinge part and finally the upper hinge part can be mounted by pushing it onto the hinge pin with the projections and the undercut grooves engaging.
In the suspended condition of the wing, the bearing surface of the threaded shaft bears on the abutment surface of the projection. The hinge with the hinge leaf according to the invention relates to a three-part hinge and the hinge leaf according to the invention is fixed to the frame and thus forms a frame hinge leaf, so that at least the lower fitting or the lower hinge part comprises a threaded bore for the adjusting shaft, which threaded bore extends from the lower end into the groove. In this embodiment, the adjustment of the wing in the vertical direction can be carried out by the adjusting shaft, which is pressed with its bearing surface against the abutment surface by the weight of the wing, being screwed further into the threaded bore or screwed further out of the threaded bore. If, as is preferred, corresponding threaded holes are also provided in the upper fitting part or the upper hinge part, the hinge leaf according to the invention can be used not only for right-hand hinged wings but also for left-hand hinged wings.
In a preferred embodiment of the hinge leaf according to the invention, the fitting has at least one fastening hole extending transversely to the hinge axis for fastening means, such as a fastening screw, an expansion bolt, a mating pin or the like, for fastening to the wing or to the frame.
The invention also relates to a hinge having a hinge leaf according to the invention.

Fig. 8 shows the hinge according to fig. 7 in a view from below of the upper hinge according to fig. 1.
The exemplary embodiment of the hinge leaf according to the invention, which is illustrated in the figures as a whole by 100 (hereinafter referred to as "hinge leaf 100") is designed as a two-part hinge leaf of a three-part hinge. The hinge leaf is also suitable for fastening to a frame or a wing; it is in practice often mounted on the frame and is therefore also referred to as "frame hinge part".
The hinge leaf 100 is part of a hinge for hingedly connecting a wing, not shown in the figures, to a frame, also not shown in the figures, about a hinge axis S. The hinge leaf 100 comprises a lower fitting 1 and an upper fitting 2. The fitting parts 1, 2 can be fixed to the frame at a distance a in the direction of the hinge axis S by means of a fixing mechanism 3, wherein the fixing mechanism 3 comprises a self-tapping screw 4 and a mating pin 5 in the illustrated embodiment.
The fittings 1, 2 are used for mounting a hinge 6, 7, respectively. Each of the joints 6, 7 comprises a hinge pin receptacle 8, 9 extending in the direction of the joint axis S for receiving a hinge pin 10 defining the joint axis S.
The hinge pin 10 divides in a plane E extending transversely to the hinge axis S two longitudinal sections 11, 12 which are designed with ends 13, 14 facing each other. The facing ends 13, 14 are in form-locking engagement, for which purpose the end 14 of the upper longitudinal section 11 in the drawing is designed with an outer polygon, while the end 13 of the lower section 12 in the drawing is designed with a complementary inner polygon.
In the mounted state of the joints 6, 7 shown in fig. 1 and 2, the joints have a distance B in the direction of the joint axis S. This distance is virtually bridged by the hinge, not shown in the drawings, of a hinge leaf, which is mounted on the hinge pin 10 so as to be rotatable about the hinge axis S and which is generally provided for fastening to the wing and thus forms the wing hinge leaf.
Fig. 3 to 5 show one of the fitting parts 1, 2, i.e. the fitting part 1 shown below in fig. 1 and 2, in different views, as can be seen in fig. 3 to 5, the fitting part 1 comprising an undercut groove 15 having a longitudinal axis L extending parallel to the hinge axis S. The groove 15 is substantially C-shaped in cross section and has a groove opening 16 extending over the entire length of the fitting 1.
A threaded bore 18 is machined into the slot 15 from the lower end 17 of the slot 15. The threaded hole 18 defines a rotation axis D which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis L and thus also parallel to the hinge axis S. The threaded bore 18 extends over a partial length T of the overall length G of the groove 15.
As can be seen in fig. 3, the internal thread 19 of the threaded bore 18 does not extend over a full circle, but rather over three circular arcs 20, 20', 20 ″, the cross section of the threaded bore 18 here not being within the cross section of the undercut groove 15.
Referring now to fig. 6 to 8, which show the lower fitting 1 and the lower hinge 6, the design of the hinges 6, 7 is explained with regard to the installability on the fitting 1, 2.
The lower hinge 6 comprises a projection 21 which extends over a portion V of the overall length W in the direction of the hinge axis S of the hinge 6 (see fig. 1). The projection 21 has a substantially T-shaped cross section which is formed substantially complementarily to the cross section of the undercut groove 15, so that the hinge 6 can be displaced relative to the fitting in the direction of the longitudinal axis L of the groove 15, but is supported on the fitting 1 in a form-fitting manner in the other spatial directions. The groove 15 and the projection 21 are matched to one another in such a way that the hinge 6 rests with the abutment faces 22, 22 'against the mating abutment faces 23, 23' of the fitting 1.
As can be seen in fig. 1, the upper end of the projection 21 is part of the upper end face 24 of the hinge 6. Since the projection 21 extends only over a portion V of the overall length W of the hinge 6, the end surface 25 facing away from the end surface 24 is set back relative to the lower end surface 26 of the hinge 6. An adjusting shaft 27 screwed into the threaded bore 18 about the axis of rotation D engages in the free space formed thereby. The end of the adjusting shaft facing the end face of the end face 25 is designed as a bearing face 28, with which bearing face 28 the adjusting shaft bears against the end face 25 in the mounted state, the end face 25 thus forming a bearing face 29 for the bearing face 28.
The mounting of the hinge provided with the hinge blade 100 according to the invention, the hinged fixing of the wing and the vertical adjustment thereof can be carried out in a particularly simple manner. For this purpose, the lower fitting 1 is first fastened, for example, to a frame by screwing in screws 4, wherein the screws 4 extend through holes 30 provided for this purpose of the fitting 1. As long as the fastening has not yet been carried out with the adjusting shaft 27 screwed into the threaded bore 18, the adjusting shaft 27 is now screwed in. The projection 21 of the hinge 6 of fig. 1 is then inserted from above into the undercut groove 15 and moved downwards until the abutment surface 29 abuts against the support surface 28. If this has not already taken place, the lower longitudinal section 12 of the hinge pin 10 is now inserted into the hinge pin receptacle 8 and fixed. Since the longitudinal section 12 of the hinge pin 10 projects beyond the upper end face 24 of the hinge 6, it is now possible to hang a wing provided with a hinge blade, not shown in the drawings, by pushing the hinge of this hinge blade onto the lower longitudinal section 12. Vertical adjustment of the wing is achieved by rotating the operating adjustment shaft 27 about the axis of rotation D.
As is clear from the foregoing explanation, the invention has been implemented with a so-called two-part hinge, for which only one single hinge leaf is constructed in the manner described above.
In the exemplary embodiment of the three-part hinge shown in fig. 1 and 2, however, the upper fitting part 2 and the upper hinge part 7 are additionally provided. The fitting 2 corresponds in its construction to the fitting 1 described above, but is mounted with a 180 ° rotation, so that the threaded bore 18 is located above. Correspondingly, the upper hinge 7 is also mounted in the opposite direction on the fitting 2. The hinge pin receptacle 9 of the hinge 7 carries a longitudinal section 11 of the hinge pin 10 shown at the top in fig. 1 and 2, the region of which that projects downward from the hinge 7 engaging in the hinge of the hinge leaf, not shown in the drawings. The assembly of the hinge 7 with the longitudinal section 11 can thus be carried out in a simple manner by inserting the projection 21 of this hinge from above into the groove 15. The upper hinge part 7 then rests with its lower end face 31 on a hinge part not shown in the drawing. The upper hinge 7 can be assembled by means of the preassembled longitudinal section 11 of the hinge pin 10. It is also possible to initially install the upper hinge 7 and thereafter insert the longitudinal section 11 from above through the hinge pin receptacle 9.
The adjusting shaft 27 is not absolutely necessary on the above-described fitting 2. However, the adjusting shaft 27 can also be provided to prevent the upper hinge from being removed as a result of the upward movement, without further measures having to be taken for this purpose.
By providing the threaded bore 18 also in the upper fitting part 2, the hinge leaf according to the invention can be used without further modifications not only for right-hand hinged wings but also for left-hand hinged wings.
