Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及带有附加卡的个人计算机,该附加卡带有含有智能卡阅读器和调谐器的印刷电路板,该智能卡可通过附加卡的安装支架的插槽访问该智能卡。
本发明还涉及个人计算机附加卡。根据序言中描述的个人计算机和附加卡可由ComStream公司的手册“DVB SCPC/MCPC卫星接收器卡”得知。
背景技术
这种个人计算机和附加卡可以使个人计算机接收来自卫星或CATV网络的数字电视信号或数据信号。为此,该附加卡包括一个调谐器,用于调谐至电视和/或数据信号调制的不同的载波。
此外,这种附加卡上经常带有智能卡阅读器。这种智能卡阅读器常用于基于预定服务或每次使用付费服务的有条件访问系统。智能卡阅读器还可用于电子银行服务,例如以加密的形式的个人身份码的详细信息存储在智能卡上。在已知的个人计算机中,智能卡必须通过将智能卡安装到个人计算机上的支架的一个插槽插入智能卡阅读器中。该插槽位于PC的后面。

发明内容

根据本发明的一种带有印刷电路板的个人计算机附加卡,该印刷电路板带有智能卡阅读器和调谐器,可通过所述附加卡的安装支架中的槽访问所述智能卡阅读器,其特征在于,所述调谐器直接置于所述安装支架的后面,所述智能卡阅读器置于所述调谐器的旁边,并且所述调谐器和智能卡阅读器的宽度之和小于所述印刷电路板的宽度。
通过使用用于较小尺寸的智能卡的较小尺寸的智能卡阅读器,使得将智能卡阅读器置于调谐器的旁边成为可能,可以将调谐器直接置于支架的后面。因而可以无须使用支架上的连接器和调谐器的输入端之间的连接。使用较小尺寸的智能卡的另一个优点是在移动装有该附加卡的PC时可减小智能卡被折断的可能性。在现有技术的附加卡中,智能卡从附加卡中伸出一定长度,使智能卡更易损坏。
本发明一个实施例的特征在于使用阅读ID-000型智能卡的智能卡阅读器。
ID-000型智能卡当前专用于运行在例如GSM标准的蜂窝电话终端中的SIM(用户身份模块)中。这种智能卡的尺寸是25mm×15mm。
本发明的进一步的实施例的特征在于RF连接器安装在调谐器上和RF连接器通过支架上的一个开口伸出。
通过将RF连接器安装在调谐器上并通过开口将其安装在支架上,可得到安装和连接调谐器的简便和低成本的方式。

具体实施方式
图1根据现有技术的附加卡包括印刷电路板2,其上有调谐器12,卡阅读器10,处理装置14和16和PCI接口。接收的带有数字视频信号或数据信号的RF信号施加在安装支架4上的RF连接器6上,支架4连接在印刷电路板2上。RF连接器6通过电缆8连接至调谐器2。
处理装置14和16用于将所需的数字信号从调谐器12的输出端提供的IF信号中分离出来。卡阅读器10也连接至处理装置16,用于从智能卡11中读出条件访问信息。由处理装置16分离出的数字信号被传送至PCI接口18,PCI接口18用于为连接器2连接至个人计算机中的PCI总线提供适合的数据和控制信号。
从图1可看出,智能卡10的宽度使其他部件,特别是调谐器12,都不能置于其旁边。结果,调谐器12不得不置于智能卡阅读器的后面和必须使用电缆8连接支架4上的连接器6和调谐器12。使用电缆8带来附加的信号损失和附加卡的成本提高。
根据图2的附加卡带有印刷电路板2,其上有直接位于支架4后并安装在小智能卡阅读器20旁边的调谐器12。由于代替正常尺寸的智能卡和相应的阅读器而使用了ID-000型的小智能卡,使这种安排成为可能。由于调谐器直接位于支架4的后面,连接器6和调谐器12之间的连接电缆可以省略。
连接器6最好集成到调谐器12中。将连接器6集成到调谐器12中使附加卡的安装更加容易。
根据图3的个人计算机,根据本发明的附加卡13置于PC主板的PCI槽中。槽17用于接收小智能卡。来自CATV系统或广播卫星的信号可施加在RF连接器6上。
根据图4的附加卡,RF输入信号施加在接收器模块22上。在接收器模块22上,RF输入信号连接至调谐器24,调谐器24用于在从微控制器36接收的控制信号的控制下调谐至所需的频率。
调谐器24的IF输出连接至QPSK解调器26的输入端。QPSK解调器26解调从调谐器24接收的IF信号并将解调得到的数字符号传至第一输出端。QPSK解调器26的第一输出端连接至纠错电路28。载有AGC(自动增益控制)和AFC(自动频率控制)信号的QPSK解调器26的第二输出端连接至调谐器24。AGC信号用于调谐器的增益控制,使得QPSK解调器26的输入电平有预定的值。AFC信号用于控制调谐器24的局部振荡器而消除QPSK解调器26检测到的频率偏移。纠错电路检测和纠正传输错误并为其输出端提供基本上无错误的符号。纠错电路28的输出端连接至接收器模块22的输出端。
接收器模块22的输出端连接至处理模块30的输入端。在处理模块30中,接收器模块的输出信号连接至解加密码器(descramber)32的输入端。解加密码器32根据从条件访问单元38接收的信息将从接收器模块接收的信号解密。条件访问单元38从智能卡中阅读条件访问信息,并在从智能卡读出的信息表明用户是有权接收接收器模块22的输出信号载有的信息时,为解加密码器提供解密信息。
解加密码器32的输出端连接至信号分频器34的输入端,信号分频器34从解加密码器32的输出信号中取出选择的流。选择的流传至PCI桥46,PCI桥46将选择的流转换为可置于PCI总线的格式。
PCI桥46还连接至微控制器36,微控制器36用于相应从PCI桥接收的指令而控制接收器模块22,解加密码器32,信号分频器34和条件访问单元38。为此,微控制器36还带有RAM40,ROM42和非易失RAM44。

Claims (8)

1.一种带有附加卡的个人计算机,该附加卡带有含有智能卡阅读器和调谐器的印刷电路板,可通过所述附加卡的安装支架中的槽访问所述智能卡阅读器,其特征在于,所述调谐器直接置于所述安装支架的后面,所述智能卡阅读器置于所述调谐器的旁边,并且所述调谐器和智能卡阅读器的宽度之和小于所述印刷电路板的宽度。
2.如权利要求1所述的个人计算机,其特征在于,所述智能卡阅读器用于阅读ID-000型的智能卡。
3.如权利要求1所述的个人计算机,其特征在于,一个RF连接器安装在所述调谐器上,并且所述RF连接器从所述支架的开口中伸出。
4.如权利要求1、2或3的个人计算机,其特征在于智能卡阅读器用于从智能卡读出条件访问信息,该个人计算机附加卡包括用于只在从智能卡读出的条件访问信息符合授权标准时才提供一定服务的控制装置。
5.一种带有印刷电路板的个人计算机附加卡,该印刷电路板带有智能卡阅读器和调谐器,可通过所述附加卡的安装支架中的槽访问所述智能卡阅读器,其特征在于,所述调谐器直接置于所述安装支架的后面,所述智能卡阅读器置于所述调谐器的旁边,并且所述调谐器和智能卡阅读器的宽度之和小于所述印刷电路板的宽度。
6.如权利要求5所述的个人计算机附加卡,其特征在于,所述智能卡阅读器用于阅读ID-000型的智能卡。
7.如权利要求5所述的个人计算机附加卡,其特征在于,一个RF连接器安装在所述调谐器上,并且所述RF连接器从所述支架的开口中伸出。
8.如权利要求5、6或7所述的个人计算机附加卡,其特征在于,所述智能卡阅读器用于从智能卡读出条件访问信息,所述个人计算机附加卡包括用于只在从智能卡读出的条件访问信息符合授权标准时才提供一定服务的控制装置。
