a method for waxing modified polyethylene wax for hardwood furniture comprises the following steps:
(1) soaking the hardwood furniture wood in boiling water for 10-30 min, carrying out hydro-thermal treatment, fishing out, and air-drying until the weight of the wood is stable;
(2) coarse grinding treatment is carried out on the surface of hardwood furniture by 180-mesh and 240-mesh sandpaper in sequence, and the defects of hip stubble, fluffing and the like are removed; gently wiping the surface of the furniture by hot cotton cloth to remove impurities such as wood residue, dust and the like;
(3) carrying out water grinding treatment on the surface of hardwood furniture by using 400-mesh water sand paper along the grain direction;
(4) heating a proper amount of modified polyethylene wax to melt the modified polyethylene wax, wherein the wax amount is as follows: 20 to 70g/m2;
(5) Baking the surface of a wood sample by using an electric hot air gun, dipping the liquid modified polyethylene wax by using a brush, applying the liquid modified polyethylene wax on the surface of the wood, and continuously heating by using the electric hot air gun to uniformly distribute the wax on the surface of the wood;
(6) heating the surface of the wood from room temperature to a preset temperature by using an electric bow heater, baking at the preset baking temperature of 140-240 ℃ for 1-3 min, continuously wiping the surface of the hard wood for waxing by using clean white cloth, and completely immersing the modified polyethylene wax into pores of the wood;
(7) naturally cooling for a certain time, removing floating wax on the surface by using a wax opener after the wax is solidified on the surface of the furniture, wiping and polishing the wax for 5-10 min by using white cloth, and baking the wax for several seconds at a low temperature to remove the scraping mark.
Further, the boiling water in the step (1) is distilled water or deionized water, the wood is completely submerged under the water surface, and all sides of the wood are not turned over.
Further, the modified polyethylene wax in the step (4) is maleic anhydride grafted modified polyethylene wax, and the preparation method comprises the following steps:
adding 10-30 parts of polyethylene wax and 60-80 parts of xylene into a four-mouth bottle, introducing nitrogen, heating in an oil bath pot until the polyethylene wax is dissolved, heating to the preset temperature of 130-170 ℃, and fully stirring at the stirring speed of 300-400 r/min; dissolving maleic anhydride and benzoyl peroxide in a small amount of xylene solvent, and dropwise adding the solution into a four-mouth bottle for three times, wherein the dosage of a maleic anhydride monomer is 1-6 parts, and the dosage of benzoyl peroxide is 0.2-2.4 parts; the reaction time is 1-5 h, and after the reaction reaches the preset time, acetone is adopted for suction filtration for 3 times; and (4) drying in vacuum until the weight of the polyethylene wax is stable to obtain the modified polyethylene wax.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
the method for waxing the modified polyethylene wax for the hardwood furniture ensures that the waxed hardwood furniture has clear surface texture, enhanced wear resistance and improved heat resistance, and the modified polyethylene wax can be combined with the treated wood by hydrogen bonds, so that the binding force is enhanced, and the performance of the hardwood furniture is obviously improved.
