Description
Technical Field
Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to the field of navigation, and more particularly, to methods, apparatuses, devices, and computer-readable storage media for navigation.
Background
To help users better determine a destination for navigation, navigation applications may utilize a map database to provide information to users about various points of interest (POIs). For example, a user may enter query terms into a navigation application through an interface to obtain relevant point of interest information. However, due to the limitations of navigation application interfaces, navigation application interfaces often provide only a set of points of interest and some information of the points of interest that is always displayed on a fixed basis (e.g., address, phone, etc.). In many cases, it is difficult for such information to help the user efficiently determine whether the point of interest is currently the desired point of interest. The terms "first," "second," and the like may refer to different or the same object. Other explicit and implicit definitions are also possible below.
Fig. 1 illustrates a block diagram of an example environment 100, in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure. As shown in FIG. 1, an example environment 100 may generally include a user 110 and a navigation device 120. The navigation device 120 may include, but is not limited to, a cell phone, a computer, a personal digital assistant, a game console, a wearable device, an in-vehicle communication device, a virtual reality device, or a reality augmentation device, and the like. The navigation apparatus 120 may provide an input device such as a touch screen, a keyboard, etc. for the user 110 to operate. Further, the navigation device 120 may provide output means such as a display, a speaker, etc. for providing information to the user 110. The navigation device 120 may also be equipped with a positioning means to determine its location. The navigation device 120 may be installed with a navigation application for providing navigation services to the user 110.
Fig. 2 shows a flow diagram of a method 200 for navigation according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. For example, the method 200 may be performed by the navigation device 120 as shown in FIG. 1. It should be understood that method 200 may also include additional blocks not shown, and/or may omit blocks shown.
At block 202, the navigation device 120 determines a context associated with the navigation device 120, where the context indicates information associated with the operation of the navigation device 120. In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may utilize sensors coupled thereto to acquire contextual information.
In some embodiments, the context may include an environmental context, where the environmental context indicates information associated with a physical environment associated with operation of the navigation device 120. For example, the environmental context may indicate the physical environment in which the navigation device is located, e.g., current weather conditions, traffic conditions, location information. The navigation device 120 may, for example, obtain environmental context information through sensors coupled thereto or obtain a corresponding environmental context from a server using, for example, a communication device coupled thereto. In another example, the environmental context may also indicate information of a vehicle associated with the navigation device 120, for example, where the navigation device 120 may be embedded in the vehicle as an in-vehicle navigation device, or the navigation device 120 may connect with the vehicle based on wired or wireless means. The navigation device 120 can obtain an environmental context related to the vehicle, such as a type of vehicle (e.g., a fuel vehicle or an electric vehicle), a fuel status, a power status, a travel speed, or a maintenance status (e.g., vehicle maintenance is required), etc., based on the connection with the vehicle.
In another embodiment, the context may include a temporal context, where the temporal context indicates information of a time associated with the operation of the navigation device 120. The temporal context may include, for example, a current specific time of day (e.g., 15:30), a current time period (e.g., afternoon), a current date (e.g., 2019, 10, 22), and so forth. As another example, the temporal context may also include other information indicating time, such as whether to work on a day, whether to holiday, and the like.
In yet another embodiment, the context may include a user context, where the user context indicates information of a user associated with the operation of the navigation device 120. For example, the user may include a current user or a previous user of the navigation device 120. When the navigation device 120 is associated with a vehicle, the user may include a driver or passenger of the vehicle. In some embodiments, the user context may include, for example, the user's gender, occupation, home address, company address, user preferences, schedule, and any other information that may be relevant to the user. The navigation device 120 can obtain the user context, for example, through an application (e.g., a calendar application or a navigation application, etc.) installed thereon or on an electronic device coupled thereto.
It should be understood that "context" in the present disclosure may include any other suitable context for indicating information associated with the operation of the navigation device 120, in addition to the example contexts listed above. In some embodiments, the context obtained by the navigation device 120 may include a combination of contexts. For example, the navigation device 120 may determine that the context associated with the navigation device 120 is "female driver," evening, "" heavy rain, "and" 5% vehicle remaining.
At block 204, the navigation device 120 obtains at least one tag of the point of interest to be provided that matches the context, where the at least one tag describes information of a corresponding attribute of the point of interest to be provided. In some implementations, the points of interest to be provided may be determined based on a query input by the user 110. In particular, the navigation device 120 may receive a query for a point of interest. For example, the user 110 may input a query for a point of interest through an input interface provided by the navigation device 120, such input interfaces may include, but are not limited to: a touch screen based input interface, a voice based input interface, or a key based input interface, etc. For example, the user 110 may input a query for "charging station" to the navigation device 120 by voice. As another example, the user 110 may enter a query, for example, by clicking on a point of interest category on an interactive interface provided by the navigation device 120. The navigation device 120 may then determine a point of interest to provide based on the received query. For example, the navigation device 120 can filter out a set of points of interest related to "charging stations" from the map database as points of interest to be provided based on a query of "charging stations".
In another embodiment, the navigation device 120 may also determine the point of interest to be provided, for example, based on the obtained context. For example, the navigation device 120 may obtain a point of interest located near (e.g., within a distance of 3 kilometers) the location of the navigation device 120 as the point of interest to be provided. As another example, the navigation device 120 may, for example, take the point of interest near the travel destination as the point of interest to be provided based on obtaining the travel destination information of the driver. Alternatively, the navigation device 120 may determine that the current vehicle charge level is too low based on the obtained context, while obtaining a nearby charging station as the point of interest to be provided.
After determining the point of interest to be provided, the navigation device 120 may also obtain one or more tags of the point of interest to be provided. In some embodiments, to more efficiently present information for points of interest, each point of interest may be tagged with one or more tags, and such tag information may be stored in relation to the point of interest.
In some embodiments, the tags may indicate service availability associated with the points of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate business hours (e.g., a specific business time period, or whether it is a 24 hour business) or whether it is open to the outside (private, or open to the outside).
Alternatively, the tag may also indicate the service capabilities associated with the point of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate whether the charging service of the charging station is frequently malfunctioning, or the like. Similarly, taking "parking lot" as an example, the tag may indicate, for example, whether the parking lot is easy to park, or the like.
Alternatively, the tag may also indicate a service charge associated with the point of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate a charge fee (e.g., 4 dollars/degree). Similarly, taking "parking lot" as an example, the tag may indicate parking fees for different time periods (e.g., 4 dollars/15 minutes from 7 dollars early to 8 dollars late, and 2 dollars/hour from 8 dollars late to 7 dollars early).
Alternatively, the tag may also indicate a service environment associated with the point of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate whether it is an underground or above ground charging station, whether there is a ceiling, whether there is a street, or the like. Similarly, taking "parking lot" as an example, the tag may indicate whether it is a ground or underground parking lot, whether it is a mechanical parking space, whether it is a ceiling, or the like.
Alternatively, the tags may also indicate a service category associated with the point of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate whether the charging station provides car wash services, whether there are restrooms, whether electronic payment is available, and the like. Similarly, taking "parking lot" as an example, the tag may indicate whether the parking lot provides car washing services, whether there are restrooms, whether electronic payment is available, or the like.
Alternatively, the tags may also indicate the geographic location of the points of interest. For example, taking "charging station" as an example, the tag may indicate whether the charging station is located in a shopping mall, or indicate absolute coordinates of the charging station. Similarly, taking "parking lot" as an example, the tag may indicate whether the parking lot is near an airport, near a train station, near a school, near a shopping mall, or located in a shopping mall, etc.
It should be understood that the specific labels listed above are merely illustrative and that embodiments of the present disclosure may also include any other suitable labels. In some embodiments, such tags may be automatically labeled, for example, by obtaining detailed information for each point of interest, and utilizing techniques such as natural language processing. Alternatively, such tags may also be manually labeled, for example, by an expert by obtaining information about the points of interest.
After obtaining one or more tags for the points of interest to be provided, the navigation device 120 may also filter the one or more tags based on the obtained context in order to provide the user 110 with information that the user 110 is more interested in the current situation. The specific process of block 204 will be described below in conjunction with fig. 3, where fig. 3 shows a flow chart of a process of determining at least one tag in accordance with an embodiment of the present disclosure.
As shown in fig. 3, at block 302, the navigation device 120 may obtain a set of candidate tags for a point of interest to be provided. Taking "parking lot" as an example, the candidate tags thereof may include, for example, a plurality of tags of "easy parking", "5 yuan/1 hour", "underground parking lot", "support electronic payment", "shopping mall", and the like. However, due to the limitations of the navigation interface, providing all of these tags to the user 110 at the same time may be difficult, and may make it difficult for the user 110 to quickly obtain the information that he or she needs.
At block 304, the navigation device 120 may determine a degree of match of a set of candidate tags with the context, where the degree of match indicates a likelihood that the user 110 selects a point of interest to be provided under conditions corresponding to the context.
In some embodiments, for example, a match between each tag and the corresponding context may be pre-constructed. For example, a match between the context of "heavy rain" and a "underground" parking lot labeled or "underground" labeled may be pre-constructed. Similarly, the context of "heavy rain" may also be matched with the label "on the ceiling".
In some embodiments, possible matches between a context and a tag may also be scored to indicate how well the tag matches the context. In some embodiments, scoring may be performed by way of big data analysis, for example. For example, through big data analysis, it may be determined that in the context of "heavy rain," 60% of users select parking lots labeled "underground," 30% of users select parking lots labeled "roofed," and 10% of users select parking lots labeled "unlit," and thus a higher score may be assigned to the context of "heavy rain" and the label "underground," indicating a higher degree of match. Conversely, a "heavy rain" context may be given a lower score than the label "no ceiling" to indicate a lower degree of match. In some embodiments, the matching score between the tag and the context may also be manually set by an expert. Such scores may be stored in relation to the points of interest as labels to the points of interest such that the navigation device 120 retrieves labels for a set of candidate labels matching the context to determine a degree of matching between the labels and the context.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also determine how well a set of candidate tags match the context based on the values of the corresponding attributes indicated by the set of candidate tags. For example, taking the context of "vehicle low", as an example, the navigation device 120 may determine a degree of matching of the tag indicating the cost with the context of "vehicle low" based on the cost of the charging station. For example, a tag indicating a charge rate of 4.0 dollars/degree may have a higher degree of matching in the context of "low vehicle charge" than a tag indicating a charge rate of 5.0 dollars/degree.
In some embodiments, each time a tag is added to each point of interest, a match between the tag and the possible context may be constructed and the degree of match scored. In this manner, the navigation device 120 can not only enrich the information that the point of interest can present, but can also build associations between the point of interest and the context.
At block 306, the navigation device 120 may select at least one tag from a set of candidate tags that matches the context based on the degree of match. In some embodiments, after determining the degree of match of a set of tags to a context, the navigation device 120 may compare the degree of match of each candidate tag to the context to a predetermined threshold. Upon determining that the degree of match is greater than a threshold, the navigation device 120 can determine the tag as matching the context. For example, for a context of "heavy rain," the navigation device 120 may determine that the label of the "underground" of the parking lot matches the context more than a predetermined threshold, and determine the label of the "underground" as a label that matches the context of "heavy rain.
In other embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also rank the degree of match of each candidate tag in a set of candidate tags with the context and select a predetermined number of candidate tags with a greater degree of match from the set of candidate tags as the tags that match the context. In this manner, the navigation device 120 may select a tag from a set of candidate tags for a point of interest to be provided that is more desirable to the user.
In some embodiments, the points of interest to be provided determined based on the user query or context may include multiple points of interest. In consideration of the limitation of the navigation interface, the navigation device 120 may further filter the multiple points of interest to be provided based on the matching degree of the tags of the multiple points of interest to be provided with the context. Specifically, the navigation device 120 may determine a target interest point matching the context from the plurality of interest points to be provided based on the degree of matching of the candidate tags of the plurality of interest points to be provided with the context.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may determine whether to determine the point of interest to be provided as the target point of interest based on a comparison between the degree of match and a predetermined threshold of degree of match. Specifically, the navigation device 120 may determine whether the matching degree is higher than a predetermined matching degree threshold value, and determine the point of interest to be provided as the target point of interest when it is determined that the matching degree is higher than the threshold value.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may determine the point of interest to be provided as the target point of interest when a single degree of match between the determined context and any tag exceeds a predetermined degree of match threshold. For example, the navigation device 120 may determine that the inclusion context may include "daytime" and "heavy rain," and that the navigation device 120 may determine the candidate charging station as the target point of interest, although the degree of matching of "daytime" to the label "underground" of the candidate charging station does not exceed the threshold, for example, but the degree of matching of "heavy rain" to the label "underground" of the candidate charging station exceeds the threshold.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also calculate a total degree of match of the point of interest to be provided with the context, for example, based on calculating a plurality of degrees of match of the determined context with a plurality of candidate tags of the point of interest to be provided. For example, the total matching degree of the interest point to be provided and the current context may be determined by calculating a weighted sum or an average of a plurality of matching degrees, and the interest point to be provided is determined as the target interest point only when the total matching degree is higher than a predetermined matching degree threshold.
In some embodiments, considering that the number of interest points that the navigation device 120 can present is limited, the navigation device 120 may also rank the plurality of interest points to be provided based on the degree of matching of the tags of the plurality of interest points to be provided with the context, and select a specific number of interest points to be provided that are more matched as the target interest points.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may provide the determined target point of interest. In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may highlight the determined target point of interest in a list of points of interest provided to the user 110, for example. Examples of highlighting may include, but are not limited to: a top-up display, highlighting by font or color, or any other suitable display that draws the attention of the user. By adding the labels to the interest points and scoring the matching degree between the labels and the corresponding contexts, the embodiment of the disclosure can more accurately acquire the interest points which are more matched with the determined contexts.
With continued reference to FIG. 2, at block 206, the navigation device 120 provides at least one tag to the user 110 that matches the context. In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may display the determined at least one tag along with the point of interest to be provided in a list of points of interest for presentation to the user. In this way, the navigation device 120 may make it more convenient for the user to obtain more interesting information of the point of interest to be provided. The process of block 206 will be described below in conjunction with the example of fig. 4, fig. 4 showing a schematic diagram 400 of providing at least one tag according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
For example, in the example of fig. 4, the navigation device 120 may determine the point of interest associated with "charging station" as the point of interest to be provided based on receiving a query of the user 110 regarding "charging station" or determining from the obtained context that the vehicle is low. Further, in this example, for example, the navigation device 120 can determine the context including: "female driver", "evening", "heavy rain" and "5% of vehicle remaining capacity".
The navigation device 120 may, for example, display an interface as shown in fig. 4 on a display of the navigation device 120, where the left side may, for example, present a list of points of interest and the right side may present the location of the points of interest on a map. As shown in fig. 4, the navigation device 120 may also provide the user 110 with a list of points of interest to be provided, for example, and provide at least one tag according to a degree of matching of a set of candidate tags for each point of interest to be provided with a context.
As shown in fig. 4, the point of interest list provided by the navigation device 120 to the user includes a plurality of points of interest to be provided, such as "riflescent star charging station" 410, "shenghua mansion charging post" 420, and "hong kong ao central charging station" 430. As an example, the navigation device 120 may determine, for example, that the tags "4.0 meta/degree" 414, "24 hour business" 416, and "underground" 418 of "riflesh star charging station" 410, "5.0 meta/degree" 424, "24 hour business" 426, and "underground" 428 of "shenghua guohuai building charging pile" 420, and the tags "5.0 meta/degree" 434, "24 hour business" 436, and "free parking" 438 of "yao-australian center charging station" 430 have a higher degree of matching with the determined contexts "female driver", "evening", "heavy rain", and "5% remaining vehicle charge". The navigation device 120 may thus display the tags matching the context together with the points of interest to be provided in the navigation interface, thereby making the user more intuitively aware of the required information for each point of interest. This may also help the user 110 to select the desired point of interest more quickly.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also highlight at least one tab that matches the context in the navigation interface for presentation to the user. Examples of highlighting may include, but are not limited to: a top-up display, highlighting by font or color, or any other suitable display that draws the attention of the user.
In some embodiments, as shown in fig. 4, the navigation device 120 may also display a score for each point of interest to indicate how well the point of interest or the tags of the point of interest match the current context, for example. For example, the score 412 for "riflesh star charging station" 410 is 9.5, the score 422 for "shenhua mansion charging post" 420 is 9.4, and the score 432 for "hong kong ao central charging station" 430 is 9.0.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also highlight the target points of interest that more closely match the current context in the list of points of interest for presentation to the user 110. For example, the navigation device 120 may determine "riflescent star charging station" 410 and "shenghua mansion charging post" as target points of interest that more closely match the current context based on the scores.
As shown in fig. 4, the navigation device 120 may preferentially display the target points of interest among the points of interest, that is, the target points of interest "riflescent star charging station" 410 and "shenghua mansion charging post" 420 are displayed in preference to the general point of interest "port and australian center charging station" 430. It should be appreciated that the priority display is only a specific example of a highlighting, and any suitable highlighting may be used, for example, such as highlighting a font, bolding a font, or using an accent color. This disclosure is not intended to be limiting as to how highlighting may be performed.
In some embodiments, the navigation device 120 may also receive a selection of the target point of interest by the user 110, and in response to receiving an indication that the target point of interest is selected, determine a candidate tag from the at least one tag based on the degree of match, and provide the candidate tag to the user 110. In particular, continuing with fig. 4 as an example, the navigation device 120 may receive a click of the user 110 on the point of interest "riflescent star charging station" 410, for example, via a touchscreen. In response to the click, the navigation device 120 may present the details of the "riflescent star charging station" 410. Due to the limited interface of the navigation device 120 and reduced user operation, users may be more likely to see information that they are more interested in the current state, e.g., whether they are operating 24 hours, whether they are an underground charging station, etc. Accordingly, the navigation device 120 may determine, as a candidate tag, a tag having a degree of matching with the current context exceeding a predetermined threshold from among the plurality of tags of the "riflescent star charging station". For example, the tags "4.0 meta/degree" 414, "24 hour business" 416, and "underground" 418 may be determined as candidate tags. On the detail page of "the Leifsonian star charging station" 410, the navigation device 120 can present information about the tags "4.0 Meta/degree" 414, "24 hours of operation" 416, and "underground" 418 in greater detail. Alternatively, the navigation device 120 may also highlight detailed information about the candidate tag on the detail page to enable the user to more conveniently obtain detailed information of greater interest.
As can be seen from the above description, according to the scheme for navigation of the embodiments of the present disclosure, various problems in the conventional scheme can be solved. The embodiment of the disclosure can provide specific information of the interest points matched with the current context based on the context related to the navigation equipment, and the information can better meet the current needs of the user, thereby helping the user to more quickly acquire the interest points meeting the needs of the user.
