Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of medical chemotherapy, in particular to an ice compress pressurization anti-alopecia device for a chemotherapy patient.
Background
In China, the incidence of malignant tumors is high, and about 100 million people exist in China each year. Chemotherapy is one of the main means for treating malignant tumors at present, alopecia is one of the common side effects, and the psychological burden of patients is too heavy to cause inferior sensation in severe cases; the self-induction social role is changed, and the self-induction social role is unwilling to be integrated into the society, so that the living quality of the self-induction social role is influenced. How to prevent alopecia caused by chemotherapy is a subject of worthy research in clinical care.
Alopecia is a common side effect of cancer patients receiving chemotherapy. Studies have shown that from the patient's perspective, alopecia is second only to emesis and nausea, with third-order chemotherapy side effects, with incidence rates as high as 65%. Serious alopecia causes disorder of self-image of patients, particularly female patients, and overweight psychological burden, so that the patients feel inferior and refuse to accept further treatment, and the curative effect is influenced.
The current situation is that when a patient is in chemotherapy, the blood supply in a scalp area is reduced by simply adopting a method of sleeving a sphygmomanometer cuff on the head for pressurization or wearing an ice cap on the head; the above methods all have the following problems in the actual operation:
1) the ice cap and the ice bag which are frequently used clinically are not only not easy to control the temperature, but also easy to cause frostbite on the head of a patient due to low temperature.
2) Currently, a sphygmomanometer cuff is used to cover the head to pressurize the head, so as to block blood flow and reduce blood flow in the scalp area, thereby achieving the purpose of preventing alopecia. However, the current compression mode and compression strength are not easy to control, and the influence of the compression strength on the head of the patient is not clear.
3) The ice compress and the pressurization cannot be performed simultaneously, and the effect of preventing hair loss is not good.
In view of the above, there is a need to design an anti-alopecia device for ice compress and pressurization for chemotherapy patients that overcomes the above technical problems.

The chemotherapy drugs cause alopecia because the cytotoxic anticancer drugs (ADM, CTX, IFO, MTX, VP-16) damage hair follicle cells, the lower end of the hair follicle is large in shadow and called hair bulb, the proliferation and differentiation capacity of the hair bulb cells is very strong, the hair bulb cells are growth points of the hair and the root sheath of the hair follicle, in addition, the bottom of the hair bulb is sunken into hair papilla containing connective tissues, capillaries and nerves, and the hair bulb cells have a nutritional effect on the hair bulb. Thus, the chemotherapeutic agent causes atrophy of hair follicles by damaging hair bulbs and hair papillae, makes hairs fragile, breaks at the scalp or simultaneously falls off from the hair follicles. However, no certain medicine is available at present for preventing and treating alopecia.
Therefore, in order to block or reduce the damage of chemotherapy drugs to hair follicle cells, the invention develops an ice compress pressurization anti-hair loss device for chemotherapy patients according to the blood supply characteristics of scalp anatomy, which integrates scalp pressurization and scalp cold compress into a whole, wherein a pressurization component compresses an artery supplying blood to a scalp area and blocks the blood flow of the scalp at the peak of the chemotherapy drugs; the ice compress assembly is used to reduce scalp temperature, cause temporary vasoconstriction, effectively reduce or decrease blood flow to the scalp area, reduce the concentration of anti-cancer drugs reaching the hair follicle, and reduce the uptake of anti-cancer drugs by the hair follicle cells. Thereby achieving the purpose of protecting hair.
And (3) experimental observation:
the cases were followed in two groups:
control group: no precautionary measures are taken before chemotherapy, and the hair density (root/CM) is measured before chemotherapy2) After chemotherapy, measuring the alopecia degree at 1w, 2w, 3w and 4w respectively;
experimental groups: density of hair (root/CM) measured before chemotherapy2) Wearing an ice compress compression anti-alopecia device 10-15 minutes before chemotherapy, pressurizing under the monitoring of Doule to determine the compression effect (continuously until 6 minutes after administration), and injecting blue ice into the outer layer, the scalp temperature is reduced to 23-24 deg.C, and the medicine is administered for 50-60 min, and for patients with long-term continuous administration, the medicine can be intermittently administered (generally for 3h) for multiple times.
The study randomly divided patients into two groups, and observed the difference between alopecia caused by no measures before chemotherapy and alopecia caused by wearing an ice compress compression alopecia prevention device 10-15 minutes before chemotherapy. The evaluation standard of alopecia is to judge the alopecia degree according to the acute and subacute toxicity grading standard of WHO anticancer drugs: the 0-grade hair is not shed; grade i alopecia is < 25% (minimal hair loss); 25 percent to II grade less than 50 percent (moderate alopecia and alopecia areata); grade III is more than or equal to 50 percent (exposing scalp, seriously affecting beauty). The following table shows the test results:
group of | Number of observation examples | Level 0 | Class I | Stage II | Class III | Total effective rate (%) |
Control group | 50 | 1 | 7 | 10 | 32 | 28 |
Experimental group | 50 | 7 | 11 | 26 | 6 | 76 |
From the above table, experimental group uses the anti-hair loss device of applying ice compress pressurization for chemotherapy patient of this application, can slow down the emergence of alopecia greatly.
Moreover, the application can find the most suitable scalp pressurization pressure, the scalp cold compress temperature and the duration time through experiments, can be applied to the same patients and can carry out certain fine adjustment.
(1) Can improve the treatment compliance of patients with chemotherapy alopecia to a certain extent, improve negative emotions such as depression and anxiety, and improve the quality of life.
