Detailed Description
The practice and use of the embodiments are discussed in detail below. It should be understood, however, that the specific embodiments discussed are merely illustrative of specific ways to make and use the invention, and do not limit the scope of the invention. The description herein of the structural positions of the respective components, such as the directions of upper, lower, top, bottom, etc., is not absolute, but relative. When the respective components are arranged as shown in the drawings, these direction expressions are appropriate, but when the positions of the respective components in the drawings are changed, these direction expressions are changed accordingly.
According to the concept of the invention, on the basis of additionally providing additional sealing strips in a vehicle door sealing structure, particularly a rear vehicle door sealing structure, namely two original sealing strips at a door stop, a third sealing strip is added between a rear vehicle door and a side wall outer plate, so that the requirements on the sound insulation performance of pneumatic noise and the dustproof and waterproof performance during high-speed running of a vehicle are improved, and the comfort of a driver can be effectively ensured even if the original sealing strips fail.
In the embodiment shown in fig. 1 to 5, the right rear side coaming and the right rear door are taken as examples, however, it should be understood that the illustrated rear door seal structure is equally applicable to the left rear side coaming and the left rear door. The application of the seal in the front door of a vehicle is not excluded, if the structural conditions permit.
The rear vehicle door sealing structure mainly comprises a side coaming, a rear vehicle door and a sealing strip, wherein the side coaming comprises a side coaming inner plate (not shown) and a side coaming outer plate 1, and edges of the side coaming inner plate and the side coaming outer plate 1 are jointed to form a door seam allowance or a metal plate seam allowance. In a conventional arrangement, a weatherstrip (not shown) is disposed adjacent the door seam allowance and is elastically deformed when the rear door is closed to provide door sealing. The back door comprises a back door inner plate 4 and a back door outer plate 3, the edges of the back door inner plate 4 and the back door outer plate 3 are attached and bound, as illustrated in fig. 5, the edge of the back door outer plate 3 can cover the edge of the back door inner plate 4, and can be fixedly connected through coating binding glue 5.
As can be seen from fig. 5, the rear door sealing structure of the present invention further comprises an additional seal 2 disposed between the quarter outer panel 1 and the rear door inner panel 4, adjacent to the edge of the rear door, i.e., in the vicinity of the parting of the rear door from the quarter outer panel 1, and having a lip cooperating with the quarter outer panel 1 or the rear door inner panel 4 to be elastically deformed. In this embodiment, the additional sealing strip 2 includes a base 21 adhered to the inner panel 4 of the back door by, for example, a structural adhesive 6, and a first lip 22 extending from the base 21, wherein the first lip 22 can be elastically pressed against the side wall outer panel 1 when the back door is closed, thereby playing a role of sealing and isolating. In some embodiments, a second lip 23 may further extend from the base 21 in an opposite direction relative to the first lip 22, and the second lip 23 can be elastically pressed against the rear door inner panel 4 for supporting. Accordingly, the rear door inner panel 4 can be designed with a flat curved surface at the position of the structural adhesive 6 for firm bonding.
In order to cooperate with the first lip 22, the outer side panel 1 may be provided with a first step 11 projecting towards the inner rear door panel 4, so that the first lip 22 elastically engages the first step 11 when the rear door is closed, advantageously ensuring a sealing effect. The protruding position of the first step 11 is designed according to the deformation range of the first lip 22, and the depth H of the first step 11 from the gap between the side wall outer panel 1 and the rear door outer panel 3 should not be too large in consideration of the structural strength of the side wall outer panel. It will be appreciated that when the back door is closed, the first lip 22 is elastically deformed or compressed into engagement with the quarter panel 1, i.e. the compressed first lip 22a shown in fig. 5, the compression E of the first lip is designed to ensure an optimum sealing effect, typically 3-5 mm, for example around 5 mm. After the fitting, the distance D between the compressed first lip 22a and the chamfered root of the first step 11 of the side body outer panel 1 should not be too short, and if the distance D is too short, the compressed first lip 22a may contact the chamfered root in consideration of the installation tolerance of the rear door, etc., and the sealing effect may be affected. According to actual needs, it is reasonable to design distance D into 5 ~ 7mm, for example about 7 mm.
The first lip 22a is pressed against the side outer panel 1 and transmits a tensile force to the structural adhesive 6. In order to prevent structural adhesive 6 from being torn, sealing strip 2 may be provided with a gap 24 between first lip 22 and base 21, so as to provide a certain buffer function, so that a part of the pulling force is absorbed by the deformation of sealing strip 2 itself, and the rest of the pulling force is transmitted to structural adhesive 6, thereby making the bonding of structural adhesive 6 more firm. Similarly, a gap 25 may be formed between the second lip 23 and the base 21.
In the illustrated embodiment, the quarter outer panel 1 is further provided with a second step 12, and the second step 12 is adjacent to the gap between the quarter outer panel 1 and the rear door outer panel 3 and protrudes toward the rear door inner panel 4. The second step 12 is designed mainly for the purpose of appearance, when a customer looks from the side of the vehicle, the customer can see the inside of the door seam, and if the customer does not have the second step 12, the customer can feel that the shadow inside the seam is very deep, and the seam looks slightly large, which affects the appearance. The second step 12 is designed to just shield the gap between the rear door and the side wall outer panel, so that the gap looks shallow and is more attractive. When designing second step 12, need consider distance B, as shown in fig. 5, distance B is the distance between 5 and the side wall planking 1 of borduring glue, and distance B can influence the clearance of back door, and it is comparatively reasonable to design at 5 ~ 8mm, for example for 8 mm. In addition, the protruding width C of the second step 12 also affects the effect of shielding the gap, the width C is too short to completely shield the gap, and the too long width C affects the space of the sealing strip 2, and is generally designed to be about 5-8 mm, for example, 8 mm. Due to the existence of the first step 11, when the first step 11 has a deeper depth H from the gap between the side wall outer plate 1 and the rear door outer plate 3, as shown in fig. 5, the design of the second step 12 can not only shield the sight of a customer, but also play a role in reducing the punching depth of the side wall outer plate, thereby improving the punching performance of the side wall outer plate, effectively solving the problem of cracking of the side wall outer plate, and simultaneously increasing the local rigidity.
Except the above size design, the gap distance a between the side wall outer plate 1 and the rear door outer plate 3 should be smaller and better under the condition of ensuring process installation, and the installation tolerance of the rear door and the like are required to be considered during the design of the distance a, and the design is generally reasonable about 3 mm. Conversely, the distance F between the rear door inner panel 4 and the quarter outer panel 1 cannot be too small because the requirement of rear door overtaking is mainly taken into consideration. The distance F is too small, so that the rear door inner plate 4 interferes with the side wall outer plate 1 when the rear door is closed too much, and the distance F is designed to be about 5-8 mm reasonably, for example 8 mm.
As can be seen from the above summary, compared with the existing structural design, the rear door sealing structure of the vehicle of the present invention has at least the following features:
1. additional sealing strips are provided between the side wall outer plate and the rear door inner plate, so that the NVH performance and the driving comfort of the whole vehicle are effectively improved.
2. Because the side wall outer plate is designed with the step characteristic, the compression requirement of an additional sealing strip is met, and a gap between a rear door and the side wall outer plate can be shielded, so that the appearance of the vehicle is more attractive.
3. The additional sealing strip can be selected from rubber sealing strips, plastic sealing strips, thermoplastic elastomer sealing strips and the like, and the preparation process is simple and mature and can be widely implemented.
It should be understood herein that the embodiments shown in the figures merely show alternative shapes, sizes and arrangements of the rear door seal structure of the vehicle according to the present invention, which are illustrative only and not limiting, and that other shapes, sizes and arrangements may be adopted without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention.
While the technical content and the technical features of the invention have been disclosed, it is understood that various changes and modifications of the disclosed concept can be made by those skilled in the art within the spirit of the invention, and the invention is not limited thereto. The above description of embodiments is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive, and the scope of the invention is defined by the appended claims.
