背景技术
常规的线性致动器包括由推力轴承支承的可移动轴。当轴将力施加至另一物体时,推力轴承支承轴抵抗轴向载荷。具有由梯形(acme)螺杆驱动的轴的线性致动器具有旋转推力轴承,当轴受到轴向压力时,该旋转推力轴承允许梯形螺杆旋转。
侧向载荷或在垂直于轴的纵向轴线的方向上施加力会导致推力轴承过早失效。在具有梯形螺杆驱动的轴的线性致动器中,推力轴承的失效会导致梯形螺杆失效以及线性致动器卡住。
诸如跑步机、椭圆机和健身自行车之类的锻炼系统使用线性致动器来调节系统的坡度或倾斜度,从而为用户提供不同的锻炼体验。由于用户期望锻炼例程的种类更多,并且锻炼系统由于越来越大的运动范围而经历更频繁的调整,因此,线性致动器在轴上承受较大量的侧向载荷。
发明内容
在一些实施方式中,线性致动器包括马达、轴和壳体。轴具有纵向轴线,并且轴可以通过马达沿着纵向轴线移动。壳体通过定位在轴的至少一部分与壳体的一部分之间的圆锥滚子轴承来支承马达和轴。

具体实施方式
在根据本公开的线性致动器的一些实施方式中,致动器可以包括圆锥滚子轴承,该圆锥滚子轴承支承轴以加强轴抵抗侧向载荷。例如,常规的线性致动器具有定位在轴的基部处的衬套,以支承轴抵抗施加至轴的轴向载荷。衬套或其他轴向支承件可以提供轴向支承,但当线性致动器受到施加至轴的侧向力时可能会过早磨损。

在一些实施方式中,比如在关于图2所描述的锻炼系统112中,轴204可能经受在垂直于纵向轴线206的径向方向上施加的力228。通过力228施加至轴204的扭矩可以被传递至梯形螺杆222并且被传递至梯形螺杆222与壳体208和/或齿轮226的连接件。例如,力228可能通过在跑步机上跑步的使用者对锻炼系统(比如图2的框架116)的侧向冲击引起。在其他示例中,当锻炼系统以坡度或倾斜度定位时,力228可能通过由使用者和/或搁置在线性致动器200上的框架的重量施加的向下的力引起。

根据本公开的线性致动器的至少一个实施方式可以通过使由线性致动器从伸出状态移动至缩回状态而产生的力减小而进一步增加线性致动器的耐久性。例如,线性致动器可以产生比缩回力大的伸出力,以限制由线性致动器产生的热,从而限制在高占空比(比如大于50%的占空比)期间对线性致动器的热损坏。
在一些实施方式中,线性致动器可以产生伸出力以使框架和/或使用者的质量抵抗重力移动。线性致动器可以产生较小的缩回力,并且利用重力使框架和/或使用者的质量高效地移动。例如,线性致动器可以产生由图5的上部曲线表示的伸出力244。当使线性致动器沿伸出方向246朝向伸出状态移动时,可以产生伸出力244。线性致动器可以产生由图5的下部曲线表示的缩回力248。当使线性致动器沿缩回方向250朝向缩回状态移动时,可以产生缩回力248。
线性致动器可以具有由伸出力244与缩回力248之间的比率限定的效率比。在一些实施方式中,效率比在整个运动范围内可以大致恒定。在其他实施方式中,效率比可以在缩回状态与伸出状态之间的运动期间改变。
在一些实施方式中,效率比可以大于1.0。在其他实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与10.0之间。例如,伸出力244可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力248可以是至少100磅的力。在又一些其他实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与5.0之间。例如,伸出力244可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力248可以是至少200磅的力。在另外的实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与4.0之间。例如,伸出力244可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力248可以是至少250磅的力。在又一些另外的实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与2.0之间。例如,伸出力244可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力248可以是至少500磅的力。
应当理解的是,线性致动器可以在与本文中所描述的方向相反的方向上定向,其中,线性致动器构造成在朝向缩回状态移动时使框架和/或使用者的质量抵抗重力移动。换句话说,线性致动器可以向上“拉动”框架和/或使用者,而不是向上“推动”框架和/或使用者。在此类实施方式中,由于缩回力可能大于伸出力,因此效率比可能反转。
图6是图示了支承线性致动器的方法352的流程图。方法352包括在354处通过轴接收径向力,并且在356处将径向力传递至支承轴的梯形螺杆。然后在358处,传递至梯形螺杆的力可以向圆锥滚子轴承施加扭矩。圆锥滚子轴承可以支承梯形螺杆抵抗径向力,同时允许梯形螺杆相对于轴旋转。方法352可以可选地包括在360处继续使梯形螺杆旋转,以通过伸出力使轴朝向伸出状态移动。此外,方法352可以可选地包括在362处通过缩回力使轴朝向缩回状态移动,其中,缩回力相比于伸出力具有不同的大小。
在一些实施方式中,缩回力的大小可以小于伸出力的大小。例如,缩回力的大小可以小于伸出力的大小的一半。在其他示例中,缩回力的大小可以小于伸出力的大小的三分之一。在又一些其他示例中,缩回力的大小可以小于伸出力的大小的四分之一。在另外的示例中,缩回力的大小可以小于缩回力的伸出的五分之一。
工业适用性
总体上,本发明涉及在横向加载期间或在向轴施加径向力期间对线性致动器的轴进行支承。常规的线性致动器包括推力轴承或衬套,以支承轴和/或支承对轴进行支承的梯形螺杆。在包括施加至轴的侧向力或径向力的应用中,通常不使用线性致动器,因为在这种应用中的线性致动器的典型操作寿命会变短。
在根据本公开的一些实施方式中,线性致动器可以包括圆锥滚子轴承,该圆锥滚子轴承支承轴和/或支承对轴进行支承的梯形螺杆。线性致动器可以包括构造成使轴沿着轴的纵向轴线轴向地移动的马达。该马达可以通过壳体和套筒连接至轴。壳体可以容纳一个或更多个齿轮、带、线缆或其他扭矩传递装置,以将扭矩从马达传递至套筒中的梯形螺杆。梯形螺杆可以与轴上的互补表面特征相互作用,使得随着梯形螺杆的旋转,轴沿纵向轴线的方向移动。
梯形螺杆可以由定位在壳体内并且由马达驱动的齿轮的联动装置驱动。在其他实施方式中,从马达至梯形螺杆的联动装置可以包括用于将扭矩从马达传递至梯形螺杆的带、链、凸轮、杠杆或其他机构。
在一些实施方式中,轴可能经受在相对于纵向轴线(即,垂直于纵向轴线)的径向方向上施加的力。通过径向力施加至轴的扭矩可以被传递至线性致动器的梯形螺杆或其他部件,并且传递至梯形螺杆或其他部件与壳体和/或齿轮之间的连接件。例如,径向力可能通过在跑步机上跑步的使用者对锻炼系统的侧向冲击引起。在其他示例中,当锻炼系统以坡度或倾斜度定位时,该力可能通过由使用者和/或搁置在线性致动器上的框架的重量施加的向下的力引起。
线性致动器包括定位在轴与壳体之间的圆锥滚子轴承。在一些实施方式中,圆锥滚子轴承可以定位在梯形螺杆的至少一部分与壳体之间。例如,圆锥滚子轴承可以定位在梯形螺杆的肩部与壳体之间。
轴上的径向力和/或轴向力可以传递至梯形螺杆且传递至圆锥滚子轴承。在一些实施方式中,圆锥滚子轴承可以在纵向轴线与圆锥滚子轴承的轴承轴线之间具有轴承角。轴承角可以在以下范围内:该范围具有包括5°、10°、15°、20°、25°、30°、35°、40°、45°或其间的任何值中的任一者的上限值、下限值或者上限值和下限值。在一些示例中,轴承角可以大于5°。在其他示例中,轴承角可以小于45°。在又一些其他示例中,轴承角可以在5°与45°之间。在另外的示例中,轴承角可以在5°与30°之间。在又一些另外的示例中,轴承角可以是大约10°。圆锥滚子轴承的轴承角可以通过定向成接收相对于梯形螺杆上的轴向力更大的径向力或接收相对于径向力更大的轴向力来影响线性致动器的操作寿命。
在一些实施方式中,线性致动器可以在伸出方向和缩回方向(即,“推动”和“拉动”方向)上产生不同的力。例如,线性致动器可以构造成在伸出方向上比在缩回方向上施加更大的力。在其他示例中,线性致动器可以构造成在缩回方向上比在伸出方向上施加更大的力。在一些应用中,线性致动器可以使一个或更多个物体在一个方向上抵抗重力而升起,而重力可以辅助物体在相反方向上的运动。线性致动器可以在通过以较低的力产生和/或以更有效的模式操作而移动“辅助方向”时减少或限制产生的热和消耗的能量。因此,线性致动器可以具有效率比,该效率比限定为线性致动器在第一方向上相对于在第二方向上所产生的力的相对量。
在一些实施方式中,效率比可以大于1.0。在其他实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与10.0之间。例如,伸出力可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力可以是至少100磅的力。在又一些其他实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与5.0之间。例如,伸出力可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力可以是至少200磅的力。在另外的实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与4.0之间。例如,伸出力可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力可以是至少250磅的力。在又一些另外的实施方式中,效率比可以在1.0与2.0之间。例如,伸出力可以是1000磅的力,而缩回力可以是至少500磅的力。
与常规的线性致动器相比,通过圆锥滚子轴承减小摩擦并且提高效率以减少热产生可以允许线性致动器具有增加的占空比。例如,根据本公开的线性致动器可以具有至少50%、至少75%、至少85%、至少95%的占空比或连续的占空比。在至少一个示例中,根据本公开的线性致动器可以具有在20分钟的持续时间内至少70%的占空比。
在一些实施方式中,根据本公开的线性致动器可以用于各种锻炼系统中。例如,线性致动器可以用于对跑步机、椭圆机、健身自行车、划船机、踏步机或可以包括在锻炼系统中的其他锻炼机器的坡度或倾斜度进行调节。线性致动器可以由使用者通过与线性致动器通信的计算装置或其他接口来手动地控制(例如,使用者可以自己选择坡度或倾斜度),或者使用者可以在与线性致动器通信的计算装置中选择锻炼例程。
在一些实施方式中,计算装置可以与具有特定于所选用户的锻炼例程的用户简档进行通信或访问这些用户简档。可以与本文中所描述的原理兼容的用户简档数据库的示例包括如上所述的iFit程序。在一些示例中,可以通过用户简档访问的用户信息包括使用者的年龄、性别、身体成分、身高、体重、健康状况、可能有助于确定用于使用者的适当的锻炼例程的其他类型的信息或其组合。此类用户简档信息能够通过iFit程序应用于计算装置。

4.根据部分2或3所述的致动器,所述圆锥滚子轴承与所述梯形螺杆的肩部以及所述壳体接触。
5.根据任一前述部分所述的致动器,所述圆锥滚子轴承具有与所述纵向轴线成5°至45°的轴承轴线。
6.根据任一前述部分所述的致动器,所述轴具有相对于所述纵向轴线的伸出方向和缩回方向,所述马达具有与所述轴的所述伸出方向相关联的伸出旋转方向以及与所述缩回方向相关联的缩回旋转方向,其中,所述马达在所述伸出旋转方向上比在所述缩回旋转方向上产生更大的扭矩。
7.根据任一前述部分所述的致动器,所述线性致动器在第一纵向方向上产生的力为在第二纵向方向上产生的力的至少两倍大。
8.一种锻炼系统,所述系统包括:
基部;
框架,所述框架以可移动的方式连接至所述基部;
线性致动器,所述线性致动器定位在所述基部的至少一部分与所述框架的至少一部分之间,以施加力来使所述框架相对于所述基部移动,所述线性致动器包括:
马达;
轴,所述轴具有纵向轴线,所述轴能够通过所述马达沿着所述纵向轴线移动;

10.根据部分8或9所述的锻炼系统,所述框架包括跑步机。
11.根据部分8至10中的任一项所述的锻炼系统,还包括与所述线性致动器通信的计算装置。
12.根据部分11所述的锻炼系统,所述计算装置在所述计算装置上存储有锻炼例程,以便以具有至少40%的占空比的预定间隔致动所述线性致动器。
13.根据部分8至12中的任一项所述的锻炼系统,所述框架相对于所述基部具有至少0°到至少15°的运动范围。
14.根据部分8至13中的任一项所述的锻炼系统,所述线性致动器在伸出方向上产生至少1000磅的力。
15.根据部分8至14中的任一项所述的锻炼系统,所述线性致动器的所述纵向轴线在伸出状态下定向成相对于重力方向成至少2°的角度。
16.一种支承线性致动器的轴的方法,所述方法包括:
通过所述线性致动器的轴接收径向力;
将所述径向力传递至梯形螺杆;以及
通过所述梯形螺杆将扭矩施加至圆锥滚子轴承。
17.根据部分16所述的方法,还包括通过至少1000磅的伸出力使所述轴朝向伸出状态移动。
18.根据部分17所述的方法,还包括通过缩回力使所述轴朝向缩回状态移动,其中,所述缩回力的大小不同于所述伸出力的大小。
19.根据部分18所述的方法,所述伸出力的大小是所述缩回力的大小的至少两倍。
20.根据部分18或19所述的方法,其中,使所述轴朝向伸出状态移动并且使所述轴朝向所述缩回状态移动产生了在20分钟的持续时间内至少70%的占空比。
Claims (20)
1.一种线性致动器,所述线性致动器包括:
马达;
轴,所述轴具有纵向轴线,所述轴能够通过所述马达沿着所述纵向轴线移动;
壳体,所述壳体支承所述马达和所述轴;以及
圆锥滚子轴承,所述圆锥滚子轴承定位在所述轴与所述壳体之间,其中,所述圆锥滚子轴承与所述轴接触,其中,所述圆锥滚子轴承包括:
内座圈;
外座圈;以及
多个滚子,所述多个滚子定位在所述内座圈与所述外座圈之间,其中,所述多个滚子定位成具有相对于所述轴的所述纵向轴线的轴承角,以接收施加至所述轴的轴向力和径向力。
2.根据权利要求1所述的线性致动器,还包括梯形螺杆,所述梯形螺杆至少部分地定位在所述轴内部并且能够围绕所述纵向轴线旋转。
3.根据权利要求2所述的线性致动器,还包括多个旋转齿轮,所述多个旋转齿轮定位在所述马达与所述梯形螺杆之间并且提供所述马达与所述梯形螺杆之间的连通。
4.根据权利要求2所述的线性致动器,所述圆锥滚子轴承与所述梯形螺杆的肩部以及所述壳体接触。
5.根据权利要求1所述的线性致动器,所述轴承角相对于所述纵向轴线成5°至45°。
6.根据权利要求1所述的线性致动器,所述轴具有相对于所述纵向轴线的伸出方向和缩回方向,所述马达具有与所述轴的所述伸出方向相关联的伸出旋转方向以及与所述缩回方向相关联的缩回旋转方向,其中,所述马达在所述伸出旋转方向上比在所述缩回旋转方向上产生更大的扭矩。
7.根据权利要求1所述的线性致动器,所述线性致动器在第一纵向方向上产生的力为在第二纵向方向上产生的力的至少两倍大。
8.一种锻炼系统,所述锻炼系统包括:
基部;
框架,所述框架以可移动的方式连接至所述基部;
线性致动器,所述线性致动器定位在所述基部的至少一部分与所述框架的至少一部分之间,以施加力来使所述框架相对于所述基部移动,所述线性致动器包括:

10.根据权利要求8所述的锻炼系统,所述框架包括跑步机。
11.根据权利要求8所述的锻炼系统,还包括与所述线性致动器通信的计算装置。
12.根据权利要求11所述的锻炼系统,所述计算装置在所述计算装置上存储有锻炼例程,以便以具有至少40%的占空比的预定间隔致动所述线性致动器。
13.根据权利要求8所述的锻炼系统,所述框架相对于所述基部具有至少0°到至少15°的运动范围。
14.根据权利要求8所述的锻炼系统,所述线性致动器在伸出方向上产生至少1000磅的力。
15.根据权利要求8所述的锻炼系统,所述线性致动器的所述纵向轴线在伸出状态下定向成相对于重力方向成至少2°的角度。
16.一种支承线性致动器的轴的方法,所述方法包括:
通过所述线性致动器的轴接收径向力;
将所述径向力传递至梯形螺杆;以及
通过所述梯形螺杆将扭矩施加至圆锥滚子轴承,所述圆锥滚子轴承包括内座圈、外座圈和定位在所述内座圈与所述外座圈之间的多个滚子,所述滚子具有5°至45°的轴承角,其中,所述圆锥滚子轴承基于与所述轴的接触而支承所述径向力和轴向力的至少一部分。
17.根据权利要求16所述的方法,还包括通过至少1000磅的伸出力使所述轴朝向伸出状态移动。
18.根据权利要求17所述的方法,还包括通过缩回力使所述轴朝向缩回状态移动,其中,所述缩回力的大小不同于所述伸出力的大小。
19.根据权利要求18所述的方法,所述伸出力的大小是所述缩回力的大小的至少两倍。
20.根据权利要求18所述的方法,其中,使所述轴朝向伸出状态移动并且使所述轴朝向所述缩回状态移动产生了在20分钟的持续时间内至少70%的占空比。
