Detailed Description
(1) Examples of the embodiments
(1.1) overview
As shown in fig. 1, a toilet apparatus 1 according to an exemplary embodiment is mounted on a mounting surface 100. The toilet device 1 includes a base 2 to be mounted on a mounting surface 100, a toilet body 4, and one or more units 3 (see fig. 2).
The toilet body 4 is provided on the base 2. As shown in fig. 2, the toilet body 4 includes a metal frame 5 and a resin mold member 6 attached to the frame 5 and supported by the frame 5.
As shown in fig. 4, the frame 5 has a lower opening plane 55 facing downward and a rear opening plane 56 facing rearward.
Therefore, the toilet apparatus 1 according to this embodiment reduces the chance of one or more units 3 passing through the opening space of the lower opening plane 55 or the rear opening plane interfering with the frame 5 even when the toilet body 4 moves forward or upward relative to the base 2. This allows a service person to easily move the toilet body 4, leaving the unit or units 3 on the base 2, thereby facilitating service of the unit or units 3, for example.
(1.2) details
Next, the toilet apparatus 1 according to this embodiment will be described in more detail.
As shown in fig. 1, a toilet apparatus 1 according to this embodiment is mounted on a mounting surface 100. The toilet apparatus 1 according to this embodiment is mounted and attached to the mounting surface 100 by a fixing member. In this embodiment, the mounting surface 100 is a floor surface. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the mounting surface 100 may also be the upper surface of a mat, such as a waterproof mat, the upper surface of a tile, the upper surface of a floor mat in a bathroom, or even the floor. The installation surface 100 may be disposed indoors or outdoors, as appropriate. In this embodiment, the mounting surface 100 is a flat surface, but may also be a surface having unevenness.
The toilet apparatus 1 according to this embodiment is provided in a toilet. The toilet has at least one wall 101. In the following description, a direction directed from the wall 101 toward the toilet apparatus 1 and aligned with the mounting surface 100 is defined herein as a "forward direction", and an opposite direction thereof is defined as a "backward direction", as shown in fig. 1. Meanwhile, "left direction" and "right direction" are defined herein for a user who faces the toilet apparatus 1 in the backward direction.
In this embodiment, the toilet includes a water inlet member 102 and a dirt outlet member 103. In this embodiment, the water inlet member 102 is fixed to the wall 101 of the toilet. The water inlet member 102 is a member that is connected to a water supply source and is designed to supply water to the toilet apparatus 1. In this embodiment, the water inlet member 102 is implemented as a shut-off valve, but may also be a fitting fixed to the wall 101. The water supply source is the source of the supply water and here refers to the line branching from the water distribution pipe leading to the distribution reservoir towards the respective dwellings. Therefore, according to this embodiment, the water supplied from the water inlet member 102 has a water pressure. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the water supply source may also be a pipe leading to the water storage tank.
In this embodiment, the dirt outlet member 103 is fixed to the wall 101 of the toilet. The waste outlet member 103 is a member connected to a sewer and is designed to discharge waste that has been crushed into pieces by the toilet apparatus 1. The dirt outlet member 103 is embodied as a valve in this embodiment, but may also be a joint fixed to the wall 101, for example.
The toilet device 1 further comprises an inlet line connector 12 and an outlet line connector 11. The inlet line connector 12 is a member that is connected to the water inlet member 102 and receives water supplied from a water supply source. The inlet line connector 12 and the water intake member 102 are connected together via an inlet line 104. The outlet line connector 11 is a member connected to the waste outlet member 103 and through which waste is discharged from the toilet apparatus 1. The outlet line connector 11 and the dirt outlet member 103 are connected together via an outlet line 105.
As shown in fig. 2, the toilet apparatus 1 according to the embodiment includes a base 2, a plurality of units 3, a toilet body 4, and a rear cover 7.
(1.2.1) base
The base 2 is a member to which one or more units 3 are attached, and the base 2 is to be mounted on the mounting surface 100. In this embodiment, the base 2 is attached to the mounting surface 100 by a fixing member. However, the base 2 does not have to be fixed to the mounting surface 100. In other words, as used herein, if a component is "mounted on" the mounting surface 100, the component may or may not be fixed on the mounting surface 100.
As shown in fig. 3A, attached to the base 2 are one or more units 3 described later. The unit 3 is fixed to the base 2. The base 2 comprises a base plate 21 to which one or more cells 3 are attached, a peripheral portion 22 and a catch member 27. In this embodiment, the bottom plate 21, the peripheral portion 22, and the catch member 27 are integrated together. In this embodiment, the bottom plate 21 and the peripheral portion 22 are made of synthetic resin, but may be made of hard rubber, metal, carbon, wood, or any other suitable material.
The lower surface of the bottom plate 21 faces the mounting surface 100. The bottom plate 21 is interposed between one or more units 3 and the installation surface 100 and is capable of receiving water even if water leaks out of the units 3. As shown in fig. 3B, in this embodiment, the bottom plate 21 has a plate shape and is parallel to the mounting surface 100.
The outer peripheral portion 22 is a portion formed continuously with the outer periphery of the bottom plate 21. The outer peripheral portion 22 is formed integrally with the upper surface of the bottom plate 21. In this embodiment, the peripheral portion 22 includes an upright surface 221, a mounting surface 222, a plurality of through holes 223, and a plurality of attachment holes 224.
The standing surface 221 is a surface standing along the outer periphery of the bottom plate 21 when viewed from above the toilet apparatus 1 (i.e., when viewed in a plan view). In this embodiment, the upright surface 221 is a plane parallel to the vertical plane. The upright surface 221 prevents water received at the floor 21 from spilling into the mounting surface 100. In this embodiment, the upright surface 221 is disposed inwardly of the peripheral edge of the bottom plate 21 such that the upright surface 221 is located at a predetermined distance from the peripheral edge of the bottom plate 21. The spacing between the respective facing portions of the upright surfaces 221 is determined to be at least long enough to accommodate one or more units 3.
As used herein, "vertical plane" refers to a plane that intersects the mounting surface 100 at a right angle. Further, as used herein, if something is "parallel" to another, the angle formed between two straight lines on the same plane (or between two planes in the same space, or between one straight line and one plane) may fall within the range of 0 degrees to 10 degrees.
Note that, in this embodiment, the upright surface 221 is assumed to be a plane parallel to the vertical plane. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Instead, the upright surface 221 need only be upright relative to the upper surface of the base plate 21, and may define an inclination angle relative to a vertical plane, or may have a curved or stepped shape when taken along a vertical plane.
The mounting surface 222 is a surface on which the toilet body 4 is mounted. The mounting surface 222 only needs to mount the toilet body 4 thereon, and may have a plurality of openings as shown in fig. 3A. In this embodiment, the mounting surface 222 is parallel to the mounting surface 100 and perpendicular to the upright surface 221. The mounting surface 222 is located above the upper surface of the base plate 21.
The through hole 223 is a hole through which a fixing member passes to mount the base 2 to the mounting surface 100. A plurality of (e.g., two in this embodiment) through holes 223 are provided on the outer side of the standing surface 221. Through holes 223 are provided in the rear and left and right ends of the center of the base 2 in the front/rear direction, respectively. As used herein, "outside the upright surface 221" refers to an area located opposite to its center (of the plan view) with respect to the upright surface 221 in the plan view of the base 2. In this embodiment, each through hole 223 extends from the mounting surface 222 through the lower surface of the bottom plate 21. In other words, the through-hole 223 extends in the up/down direction.
In this embodiment, the through-hole 223 is implemented as a circular hole. However, the through hole 223 need not be a circular hole, but may also be an elliptical hole, a rectangular hole, or even a key hole, for example. Alternatively, the through-hole 223 may even be a cutout that opens outward in plan view.
The attachment hole 224 is a hole for attaching the toilet body 4 to the mounting surface 222. A plurality of (e.g., two in this embodiment) attachment holes 224 are provided on the outer side of the upright surface 221. Each attachment hole 224 is disposed in front of the through hole 223. In this embodiment, each attachment hole 224 extends from the mounting surface 222 through the lower surface of the base plate 21. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. In this embodiment, the lower end of each attachment hole 224 is counterbored to receive a nut 226 therein, as shown in FIG. 3B. In this embodiment, the frame 5 of the toilet body 4 is attached to the base 2 by bolts 225 and nuts 226. Alternatively, the inner circumferential surface of each attachment hole 224 may be threaded. The frame 5 is attached to the base 2 with a fixing member inserted into the attachment hole 224.
A lower end portion (hereinafter referred to as "front end portion") of the front end of the toilet body 4 is caught in the catching member 27. In this embodiment, the catch member 27 is implemented as a pair of hooks 270 that restrict upward movement of the toilet body 4. The pair of hooks 270 are separated from each other in the left/right direction.
(1.2.2) one or more units
A plurality of (e.g., two in this embodiment) units 3 are attached to the base 2. In this embodiment, the units 3 are machines that are driven when powered. In this embodiment, the motive power is assumed to be electric power, but may be air. The toilet apparatus 1 according to the embodiment has the soil crushing unit 31 and the water supply unit 32 as the plurality of units 3.
The soil pulverizing unit 31 is attached to the bottom plate 21. In this embodiment, the soil pulverizing unit 31 pulverizes the soil, which has been discharged from the bedpan 62, into pieces. As used herein, "soil" includes not only the excreta (including feces and urine) discharged by the user, but also paper and other soils. In this embodiment, the dirt crushing unit 31 includes: a sewage shredder for shredding the sewage into chips, and a pneumatic pump for pumping out the sewage that has been shredded into chips. As will be described later in the section "(1.2.5) water inlet line and waste outlet line", the waste comminution unit 31 is provided on a waste outlet line 9, which waste outlet line 9 connects the waste outlet 621 of the toilet bowl 62 to the outlet line connector 11. As used herein, "waste outlet line 9" refers to the passage through which waste discharged from the bowl 62 passes. In other words, the dirt breaking unit 31 is connected to the dirt outlet 621 of the toilet bowl 62 through the dirt outlet line 9.
The water supply unit 32 selectively supplies or stops the supply of water to the water inlet 631 provided for the bedpan 62. The water supply unit 32 is attached to the soil pulverizing unit 31 and indirectly attached to the bottom plate 21. Thus, as used herein, when a member (e.g., unit 3 in this embodiment) is "attached to the base plate 21," the member is directly or indirectly attached to the base plate 21.
In this embodiment, the water supply unit 32 is implemented as a solenoid valve. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the water supply unit 32 may also be implemented as an electric valve or a feed water pump. The water supply unit 32 may be a combination of a water supply pump and an electromagnetic valve or an electrically operated valve. The water supply unit 32 suitably includes a feed water pump, particularly when the water pressure of the water supply source is insufficient.
As will be described later in the section "(1.2.5) water inlet line and waste outlet line", a water supply unit 32 is provided on the water inlet line 8, the water inlet line 8 connecting a water inlet 631 (which supplies water to the bowl 62) to the inlet line connector 12. As used herein, "water inlet line 8" refers to a passage through which water supplied from a water supply source passes. In other words, the water supply unit 32 is connected to the water inlet 631 through the water inlet line 8.
(1.2.3) toilet body
The toilet body 4 is provided on the base 2. In this embodiment, the toilet body 4 is removably attached to the base 2. As shown in fig. 2, the toilet body 4 includes a frame 5 and a resin mold member 6.
The frame 5 forms a frame structure of the toilet body 4. In this embodiment, the frame 5 is made of a metal material, more specifically, stainless steel. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the frame 5 may also be made of iron, titanium, steel, zinc or copper, for example. Still alternatively, the frame 5 may be made of a high-strength resin such as a fiber reinforced plastic. As shown in fig. 4, the frame 5 includes a base 51, an upright portion 52, a pair of legs 53, and a pair of support portions 54.
The base 51 faces the upper surface of the base 2. In this embodiment, the base 51 is removably attached to the mounting surface 222 of the base 2. The base 51 is formed in a substantially U-shape in plan view and is open rearward. The inner peripheral edge of the base 51 forms an opening. In other words, the frame 5 has a lower opening plane 55, and the lower opening plane 55 has an opening space facing downward to the upper surface of the base 2. The lower opening plane 55 is a plane flush with the lower surface of the base 51.
Both ends of the base 51 in the left-right direction include a plurality of coupling portions 511. In this embodiment, each of the plurality of coupling portions 511 is a hole. The base 51 and the base 2 are joined together via a fixing member passing through the coupling portion 511 and the attachment hole 224. The coupling portion 511 is provided rearward of the upright portion 52 of the base 51. Also, a lower end of a skirt 64 (to be described later) is attached to a portion of the base 51 in front of the upright portion 52.
The upright portion 52 is a portion that is upright from the upper surface of the base portion 51. As shown in fig. 5B, an attachment piece 642 provided at the rear end of the skirt portion 64 is attached to the upright portion 52 by a fixing member 634. In this embodiment, the upright portion 52 is formed in a vertically inverted U shape in a front view as shown in fig. 4.
The pair of legs 53 are provided to stand upright one by one from the rear end of the base 51. The pair of legs 53 are spaced apart from each other in the left-right direction, and respective rear edges of the pair of legs 53 facing each other form an opening. In other words, the frame 5 has a rear opening plane 56 facing rearward and having an opening space. In this embodiment, the rear opening plane 56 is flush with the rear surface of the leg 53 and parallel to the vertical plane. In this embodiment, the base 51 is open rearward, and neither a reinforcing member bridging the respective rear ends of the base 51 nor a reinforcing member bridging the respective lower ends of the pair of legs 53 is provided. This allows the respective opening spaces of the rear opening plane 56 and the lower opening surface 55 to communicate with each other.
A corresponding support 54 connects upright 52 to leg 53. The corresponding support portion 54 is formed in a substantially crank shape in plan view. In this embodiment, the pair of support portions 54 are connected together by a link member 57.
The resin mold member 6 is a member that forms a casing of the toilet body 4 and is supported by the frame 5. In this embodiment, the resin mold member 6 includes a rim 61, a bowl 62, a water inlet nozzle 63 (see fig. 6), a skirt 64 supporting the bowl 62, a pair of side covers 65, a rear cover 66, and a dirt collector 67, as shown in fig. 2.
A rim 61 is attached to the upper end of bowl 62. The edge 61 is formed in a ring shape in plan view. The upper end face of the rim 61 is a flat surface, as shown in fig. 1, on which the toilet seat 13 rests. The toilet seat 13 and the lid 14 are mounted to the rear lid 66 so as to be rotatable about an axis parallel to the left/right direction.
The bowl 62 receives waste discharged by the user and discharges the waste through a waste outlet 621 (see fig. 6). The bedpan 62 has an open plane on its upper surface and is formed in a cup shape. A rearwardly opening cylindrical portion is provided at the lower end of the bowl 62. At the rear end of the cylindrical portion is a dirt outlet 621.
The water inlet nozzle 63 supplies water into the bedpan 62. The water inlet nozzle 63 is connected to the water supply unit 32 through the water inlet line 8. The front end surface of the water inlet nozzle 63 defines a water inlet 631 through which water flows out. In other words, the water inlet 631 supplies water into the bedpan 62.
Skirt 64 supports bowl 62 thereon. As shown in fig. 2, the skirt 64 is formed to have a substantially horizontal U-shaped cross section. On the inner peripheral surface of skirt portion 64, a plurality of longitudinal ribs 641 are provided. At a level slightly lower than the upper end of skirt 64, bowl 62 is supported by longitudinal rib 641 such that edge 61 is attached to the upper end of skirt 64. The edge 61 and the skirt 64 are integrally formed by welding.
When the user sits himself or herself on the toilet seat 13, the load is applied downward via the edge 61. However, the load is borne by the longitudinal ribs 641 of the skirt 64. The rear and lower ends of the skirt 64 are fixed to the frame 5, and thus can effectively receive the load from the edge 61.
The pair of side covers 65 is removably attached to the frame 5. The side cover 65 covers the coupling portion 511. Accordingly, removing the side cover 65 from the frame 5 exposes the coupling portion 511, as shown in fig. 7A. This allows a user or serviceman to easily remove the frame 5 from the base 2 simply by removing the side covers 65 from the frame 5.
The rear cover 66 is attached to the support portion 54 of the frame 5. The rear cover 66 forms an upper portion of the rear end portion of the toilet apparatus 1. In this embodiment, rear cap 66 houses a back flow check structure 661, as shown in fig. 6. The no-return structure 661 is provided midway in the water inlet line 8.
The waste collector 67 forms a water seal in the bowl 62. The water seal 622 is water stored in the bowl 62 to prevent the backflow of bad smells from the discharge pipe and also to prevent sanitary insects from trying to enter the bowl 62 of the toilet. The waste collector 67 is attached to the waste outlet 621 of the bowl 62. In this embodiment, the dirt trap 67 is a so-called "S-trap". A dirt catcher 67 is provided midway in the dirt outlet line 9. In other words, the filth collector 67 is connected to the filth pulverization unit 31 through the filth outlet line 9.
(1.2.4) rear cover
A rear cover 7 is attached to the rear end of the base 2. The rear cover 7 covers the rear opening plane 56 of the frame 5. The rear cover 7 is not fixed to the frame 5. Therefore, even when the frame 5 is removed from the base 2, the rear cover 7 is attached to the base 2. The rear cover 7 is located behind the toilet body 4. As shown in fig. 2, the rear cover 7 includes a holding portion 71, and the holding portion 71 is used to hold at least a part of the tube 10 forming the filth outlet line 9. Alternatively, the holding portion 71 may hold at least a portion of the tube 10 forming the water inlet line 8. In other words, the rear cover 7 may hold the dirt outlet line 9 or the water inlet line 8, as appropriate.
(1.2.5) Water inlet line and waste outlet line
The water inlet line 8 is a passage connecting the water inlet line connector 12 to the water inlet 631, as shown in fig. 6. The water inlet line 8 is provided with a water supply unit 32. On the water inlet line 8, an inlet line breaker 81 is provided between the water supply unit 32 and the water inlet 631, more specifically, between the water supply unit 32 and the backflow preventing structure 661.
An inlet line breaker 81 is provided for the water inlet line 8 to disconnect the water supply unit 32 from the water inlet 631. In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is a joint fixed to the toilet body 4. The pipe 10 connected between the joint and the water supply unit 32 is removable with respect to the joint.
In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is implemented as a nipple. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the inlet line disconnect 81 may also be implemented as a socket, coupling fitting or one-touch fitting that allows a user to remove the tube 10 with a single operation. In this embodiment, the inlet line disconnect 81 is fixed to the toilet body 4. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the inlet line disconnect 81 may also be configured such that the pipe 10 is removable from the water supply unit 32 or such that the pipe 10 may be disconnected midway.
For example, the tube 10 may be implemented as a bendable tube, a flexible hose, a hard rubber tube, or a flexible tube made of a metal material.
The dirt outlet line 9 is a passage that connects the outlet line connector 11 to the dirt outlet 621 as described above. The sewage outlet line 9 is provided with a sewage crushing unit 31. On the soil outlet line 9, an outlet line disconnect 91 is provided between the soil pulverizing unit 31 and the soil outlet 621 (more specifically, between the soil pulverizing unit 31 and the soil collector 67).
An outlet line disconnect 91 is provided for the soil outlet line 9 to disconnect the soil pulverizing unit 31 from the soil outlet 621. In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is implemented as a fitting fixed to the dirt crushing unit 31. The joint and the dirt collector 67 are attached so as to be removable from each other.
In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is implemented as a fitting. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the outlet line disconnect 91 may also be implemented as a socket, a coupling joint, or a one-touch joint that allows the user to remove the tube 10 with a single operation. In this embodiment, the outlet line disconnect 91 is fixed to the dirt crushing unit 31. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the pipe 10 may be disposed between the filth pulverization unit 31 and the filth collector 67 so that the outlet line breaker 91 may be separated midway on the pipe 10.
(1.2.6) how to remove the toilet body
When the toilet apparatus 1 having the above-described structure needs maintenance, for example, the toilet body 4 can be removed from the base 2 in the following manner. First, as shown in fig. 7A, a user or a serviceman (hereinafter, referred to as "user" for convenience) removes the side cover 65 from the frame 5. Then, the coupling portion 511, the inlet-line disconnect 81, and the outlet-line disconnect 91 are exposed. The user removes the fixing member connecting the base 2 to the coupling portion 511, that is, the fixing member connecting the base 2 to the base 51 of the frame 5. In addition, the user disconnects the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 from the toilet body 4 by operating the inlet line disconnector 81 and the outlet line disconnector 91. Note that, in this state, the lower end portion of the front end of the toilet body 4 remains caught on the catch member 27 of the pedestal 2. In addition, in this state, the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are located above the lower opening plane 55 and in front of the rear opening plane 56. As used herein, when the water supply unit 32 and the filth pulverization unit 31 are located "above" the lower opening plane 55, the water supply unit 32 or the filth pulverization unit 31 may overlap the lower opening plane 55. Further, as used herein, when both the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are located "in front" of the rear opening plane 56, the water supply unit 32 or the soil pulverizing unit 31 may overlap the rear opening plane 56.
Next, as shown in fig. 7B, the user moves the toilet body 4 forward with respect to the base 2. This disengages the lower end portion at the front end of the toilet body 4 from the engagement with the catch member 27, thereby enabling the toilet body 4 to move upward. The frame 5 has a rear opening plane 56. Therefore, even if the unit 31 remains attached to the base 2, the toilet body 4 can move relative to the base 2.
In this state, the user moves the toilet body 4 upward. In the frame 5, the opening space of the rear opening plane 56 communicates with the opening space of the lower opening plane 55. This allows the user to move the toilet body 4 forward and upward with respect to the base 2.
Removal of the toilet body 4 from above the base 2 facilitates servicing of the unit 3. In addition, the base 2 has a bottom plate 21, and thus can receive water leaking from the inlet line disconnector 81 or the outlet line disconnector 91, as well as water leaking when the unit 3 is serviced upside down. Therefore, the toilet apparatus 1 according to the embodiment allows the user to more easily perform maintenance of the unit 3.
(2) Variants
Note that the above-described embodiments are merely examples of various embodiments of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Rather, the exemplary embodiments can be readily modified in various ways depending on design choices or any other factors without departing from the scope of the present disclosure. Next, modifications of the exemplary embodiment will be enumerated in order. Any of the modifications described below may be used in combination as appropriate.
In the toilet apparatus 1 according to the above-described embodiment, the shut valve, which is fixed to the wall 101 of the toilet and serves as the water inlet member 102, and the water inlet line connector 12 are connected together through the inlet line. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the pipe extending from the water supply source may be directly connected to the inlet line connector 12 of the toilet apparatus 1.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the toilet body 4 is removably attached to the mounting surface 222 of the base 2. Alternatively, the toilet body 4 may be removably attached to the side of the base 2. Still alternatively, the frame 5 of the toilet body 4 may be located outside the base 2 and may be removably attached to the mounting surface 100. In other words, at least a part of the toilet body 4 may be located above the base 2.
Further, in the above-described embodiment, the water supply unit 32 and the soil pulverizing unit 31 are both attached to the bottom plate 21. Alternatively, one of the water supply unit 32 or the dirt crushing unit 31 may be attached to the bottom plate 21, and the other may be attached to a cross beam bridging the peripheral portion 22. Still alternatively, both the water supply unit 32 and the dirt crushing unit 31 may be attached to a cross beam that bridges the outer peripheral portion 22. That is, the unit 3 does not have to be attached to the bottom plate 21.
In the above embodiment, the water supplied into the bedpan 62 is tap water. However, this is merely an example of the present disclosure and should not be construed as limiting. Alternatively, the water supplied to the bedpan 62 may be water to which detergent has been added midway through the water inlet line 8.
(3) Aspect(s)
As can be seen from the above description, the toilet apparatus (1) according to the first aspect includes: -attaching a base (2) to be mounted on a mounting surface (100), one or more units (3) to the base (2); and a toilet body (4) to be set on the base (2). The toilet body (4) includes: a frame (5) made of a metal material; and a resin mold member (6) attached to the frame (5) and supported by the frame (5). The frame (5) has: a lower opening plane (55) facing downwards towards the base (2); and a rear opening plane (56) that faces rearward and has an opening space that communicates with the opening space of the lower opening plane (55).
This aspect reduces the chance of interference of one or more units (3) with the frame 5 through the respective opening spaces of the lower opening plane (55) and the rear opening plane (56) that communicate with each other even when the toilet body (4) is moved forward or upward relative to the base (2). This allows a serviceman to easily move the toilet body (4) with the units (3) left on the base (2), thereby facilitating, for example, maintenance of the respective units (3).
In a toilet device (1) according to the second aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the first aspect, a toilet body (4) is removably attached to the base (2).
This aspect eliminates the need to attach the toilet body (4) directly to the mounting surface (100) when mounting the toilet device (1) to the mounting surface (100).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the third aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the first or second aspect, the resin mold member (6) includes: a bedpan (62) for receiving and discharging waste through a waste outlet (621); and a water inlet (631) that supplies water into the bowl (62). The resin molding member (6) includes an inlet line disconnect (81) and an outlet line disconnect (91). The one or more units (3) include a water supply unit (32) and a soil pulverizing unit (31). A water supply unit (32) is attached to the base (2) and connected to the water inlet (631) by a water inlet line (8). The water supply unit (32) selectively supplies or stops the supply of water to the water inlet (631). A dirt comminution unit (31) is attached to the base (2) and is connected to the dirt outlet (621) by a dirt outlet line (9). The soil pulverizing unit (31) pulverizes the soil discharged through the soil outlet (621) into pieces. An inlet line disconnect (81) disconnects the water supply unit (32) from the water inlet (631). An outlet line disconnect (91) disconnects the dirt comminution unit (31) from the dirt outlet (621).
This aspect allows the toilet body (4) to move relative to the base (2) after the water supply unit (32) has been disconnected from the toilet body (4) by the water inlet line disconnect (81), and after the waste crushing unit (31) has been disconnected from the toilet body (4) by the outlet line disconnect (91). At this time, the water supply unit (32) and the filth pulverization unit (31) may remain attached to the base (2), thereby enabling the service man to easily move the toilet body (4). This facilitates maintenance of, for example, the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31).
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the fourth aspect, which may be implemented in combination with the third aspect, a rear cover (7) covering the rear opening plane (56) and holding the dirt outlet line (9) and the water inlet line (8) is attached to the base (2).
This aspect allows the toilet body (4) to be moved relative to the base (2) while the water inlet line (8) and the waste outlet line (9) remain in their predetermined positions.
In the toilet apparatus (1) according to the fifth aspect, which may be implemented in combination with any one of the first to fourth aspects, the base (2) includes a bottom plate (21) facing the installation surface (100) and to which the one or more units (3) are attached.
For example, even when water drips from at least one of the water supply unit (32) or the dirt crushing unit (31) at the time of maintenance, this aspect can receive the water at the bottom plate (21), thus reducing the chance of water overflowing onto the mounting surface (100).
Note that the constituent elements according to the second to fifth aspects are not essential constituent elements of the toilet apparatus (1), but may be omitted as appropriate.
