Abstract

Description

密闭式容器的防扭转盖
本发明是1994年6月2日申请的美国专利申请号为No.08/253,111的部分后续申请。
本发明涉及密闭式吹模容器喉部的改良盖,更具体地说,发明涉及和这种盖结合的吹模,灌装和密封的容器。
采用称为吹模/灌装置/密封的工艺很容易制造密闭式容器。利用这种工艺方法,首先由挤压的型坯块吹模成形容器体,然后装入(或灌装)所要求的液态或固态物料,此后立刻用预制的插件进行封装,同时围绕插入的预制的盖分组件在容器颈部和喉部附加模制型坯块。其实例请参看Weiler的美国专利No.4,596110所公开的容器结构。
由这种吹模、灌装和密封容器模制方法制造的密闭式容器构件,尤其是上述专利中叙述的带有可拆卸盖套的容器构件是非常有效的。并已广泛应用。然而,在某种比较极端的条件下,预制的插入式盖与构成容器喉部材料的连接会松脱。这种松脱不仅有使容器内物料对环境产生污染的危险,而且也在准备使用容器内物料时,容器通过扭掉保护插件的盖套而打开以后产生分配的困难。这种极端情况的例子包括施加到插入式盖上的过大的扭矩或施加在离开容器纵轴线方向的过大的力的情况。
需要一种克服这种松驰问题的实际装置,而且已在努力探寻这种装置,但很不容易获得。然而,本发明提供了一种实践上解决该问题的方案,并且可使各种不同的预模制插件能连同密闭式模制容器一起使用。
本发明构思了一种预制盖插件,它可永久地放置在由热塑性材料作成的容器颈部,其中插件设在带有粗糙表面的颈部周围,粗糙表面增加插件和相邻的容器颈部或喉部内表面之间的接触面积。上述的粗糙表面形式可以是大致轴向延伸的条带和环向间隔开的肋条,可能呈压花形,齿形、波浪形或其他凸凹不平的形状。
盖插件可以是单独模制件,如带有或不带可穿通模片的嘴口,或者由两个零件构成的分组件。
体现本发明的容器是由热塑性材料制造的,容器包括主体部分,主体一端确定一通口,主体终止于一个颈部单元,主体还限定敞开的喉部。上述类型的盖插件带有粗糙的圆周表面,其位于敞开的喉部中,并与限定颈部的热塑性材料密闭接触。和容器颈部结合的套构件封装盖插件。且套构件由一从颈部可拆卸的盖套组成,盖套由一可断裂幅图形成其轮廓,可断裂幅圈邻接在相糙圆周表面上方的插入件,套构件避免分配孔或嘴口的接触污染。

参照图1和图2,一个体现本发明的密闭式热塑性容器10包括一个终止于颈部的主体部分12,主体部分限定了一个同颈部,同时也和体部相连的喉部14,可拆套盖16与喉部14形成一体,并由易断幅圈18构成。安放在喉部14中的是由帽22和空心体24组成的盖插件20(图2和图4),空心体确定一个敞开的,通到容器主体部分12的轴向通道26。空心体24上设置有粗糙圆周表面28的环带,制造容器10的热塑性材料模压在周面内。
热塑性材料可以是通用的模制材料,如高密度聚乙烯,低密度聚乙烯,聚丙烯等,这些材料适于配合准备装入容器内的物质。体现本发明的容器具有各种不同的形状和不同的容量。
例如用注模方法预成形本发明所期望的盖插件,根据所要求的最终用途,盖插件可具有各种不同的分配构形。考虑有单体插件和组件,下面详细的进行讨论和说明。但是,在所有盖插件的实例中,它都设置有粗糙的圆面,例如肋条状、滚花状、锯齿状等的粗糙面,这些粗糙周面是为了在模制过程中增加与热塑容器材料紧密接触面积。因为有隆起或突台存在,所以粗糙表面的接触是不平坦的。容器的半软化热塑料在模制期间包围了这些隆起或突台,有效地使插件固定在容器的喉部或颈部。
图2、3和4所示的盖插件20的粗糙外周面28,其形状基本上呈均匀间隔的肋条30形,肋条30大致平行于通道26的纵轴线。从图3可明显看出,容器喉部14的热塑性材料完全填入相邻肋条30之间的缝隙或沟槽29;并且通过在模制时盖插件20和喉部14之间形成永久性的密封面而使插件固定。另外,模制时将材料压到插件周围,所以盖插件的粗糙表面使更多的热塑性材料存放在容器喉部区。这样也加厚了插件周围的容器壁,因此当容器准备使用而打开时,固定并强化喉部防止从后盖插件发生移位。
粗糙的盖插件周面提供的实际接触面积大于盖插件之间的表面接触面积。最佳选择是实际接触面积与表面接触面积之比至少是3左右。
盖插件20是个组件,包括密封通道26的可拆帽22。帽22也设有肋条形的外表面,部分盖套16模制在外表面里,因此当将可断裂的幅圈18切断时,帽22和盖套16紧密接触,并且可和盖套16一起取走。另一方面,如果在盖套16拆掉同时或拆掉以后,最好是使帽22仍然保留在原位,使通道26仍维持密封状态,采用通常的方法将盖套16模制在空心构件中,以便制造容器时和帽22保持隔离。
在后一种情况下证实可采用几种方法将物料通入容器,采取把帽22从帽座32上移去的方法,如图4所示,或借助销钉或套管在帽槽36中采取穿孔膜片或幅圈34的方法。帽座32可控制内和/或外径、路厄锥度等特性,以利于和其他贮罐或分配装置互连。
为了在不把帽22从帽座32上移去的情况下反复将物料装入容器中,帽槽填充诸如橡胶等的弹性材料38,如图5中帽42所示,除此,帽42的其他全部情况和图2和图4所示的帽22相同。
在如图6和图7表示的制造容器时,预制的盖插件20嵌入热塑性容器中。当以已知的方法形成容器体部分12时,如以Weiler等人的美国专利US No.4,901,873中公开的方法形成容器体12时,挤压的型坯块45由真空夹爪47和49固定就位在主体半模51和53之间。此后,预制的盖插件20位于图6所示的位置,接着,密封半模55和57相互朝向里移动(图7),以便加压盖插件20周围保留的上型坯部分,因此构成喉部14以及盖套16,同时迫使型坯的热塑性材料压入相邻纵向肋条30之间的缝隙中。用这种方式使盖插件有效而迅速地永久固定在喉部14内。
图8至12表明采用本发明时提供的另一个不同型式的盖插件。
参照图8,盖插件60是一个空心的大致呈圆柱形部分,在其圆周设置有相间隔的纵向延伸的肋条62。为密封通道66,整个插件60上延伸可穿通的无芯膜片64,为重复进入的应用橡胶合成物70填充到外槽68。空心盖套72连接喉部,保护穿通的插件60防止污染。通过握住翼片并扭转翼片76和78,使可易断的幅圈80断裂,将盖套72移去。
图9表示盖插件分组件82,它包括设有螺纹保护帽86的嘴口84,嘴口84的基座88设置与喉部90直接接触的圆周相间的肋条85,空心盖套89通过易断的幅圈92与容器喉部90相结合。盖套89上的翼片或舌片91和93便于操作,特别是对于成年人或患关节炎的病人更方便,当他们准备用嘴口84分配容器内物料时翼片有利于操作。
图10说明设有几个互连装置的盖插件。具体说,盖插件94包括空心帽座96,帽座限定具有被控制内径的通孔98,如有为放置路厄配件的路厄锥度。帽座96端接向外伸出的确定尺寸的突耳100和102,以便衔接图11所示类型的路厄锁紧螺纹。插件94的基座99安排有圆周的轴向直列并相间隔开的肋条101,以便接合容器喉部的热塑性材料,并且在肋条之间放置一些热塑料。
图11表示外锁紧连接件105,它带有肋条状的基座107,并设置内螺纹109,为了接合皮下注射针头117的轴柄115的突耳111和113,肋条状的基座107安设许多相间隔的、大致平行的肋条108,肋条之间有沟槽或间隙110。在基座107上部,肋条108汇集成一般的固定圆周带或环116,环116和肋条结合一体。为利于分配容器内物料,除路厄锁紧连接件以外的附件与上述相同。例如连接件105的外表面106以相配合的形式放置在管件的一端。
图12表示锁针连接件119,它有和图11一样结构的肋条形基座121,并且放置在热塑性容器122的喉部120。转换销针124由引导裙部126包围,裙部有利于将销针124插入静止的容器130中,以便当将容器130靠着销针124驱动时排出容器内物料。
图13-16描绘分组件形式的盖插件132,其包括基体元件134和可拆卸的盖元件如反复注入的盖元件136。
参照图13和14,大致呈圆柱形的基体元件134包括柱形裙部138,裙部固定在容器喉部142中,并有粗糙不平周面,例如有与喉部142紧密接触的圆周相间的纵向肋条140,肋条围绕裙部138的圆周延伸。在裙部138的上部、肋条140汇集成一般的固定圆周带或环144,环和肋条结合一体。基体元件134还设有空心的圆周帽座146,帽座146由环144向上延伸并和环结合。柱形帽座146限定通孔148(图15)。
帽座146也包括内表面150,内表面里设有两条螺纹151和152,螺纹围绕内表面150的一部分周向螺旋式延伸。参照图13和16,具体情况是螺纹151和152相互隔开,螺纹151围绕大约内表面150的一半圆周螺旋式延伸,而螺纹152围绕大约内表面150的对置的另一半圆周螺旋式延伸。内螺纹帽座146也限定一个适合安放皮下注射针的路厄锁紧件,其形式和图11中相同。
内表面150还包括截锥部分156(图15),如路厄锥形部分,其和通孔148相连。锥形部分156从通孔148向里汇合到帽座146的内表面150。
最好呈大致柱形的重复注入盖元件136包括空心的,基本呈柱形的夹紧部分153,夹紧部分有相间隔的纵向肋条154,肋条154围绕夹紧部分圆周延伸。盖元件136还设有空心的、在致呈柱形的帽座158(图15),帽座158从夹紧部分153的端部向下延伸。如图13和图16所示,帽座158上有限定通道162的内圆柱表面160。此外,帽座152还有带截锥部分166的外表面(图15),这部分是与锥部156互补的路厄锥部,从夹紧部分153的端部向下汇集,柱形帽座部分168(图15)从截锥部分166向下延伸,锥形部分166由阶梯170分开(图15)。一对径向相对置的凸缘或边缘172和174从柱形帽座部分168的外表面径向向外突出,并且围绕柱形帽座168的周边局部延伸。具体地说,凸缘172围绕帽座部分168的一侧边的局部圆周延伸,而凸缘174则围绕与凸缘172径向相对置的帽座168的一侧边的圆周延伸。为密封通道162在夹紧部分153上设置可穿透的、无芯膜片176、弹性自动封合的合成物178填充到夹紧部分153的外槽180中,以便重复注入应用。
和容器喉部143结合的空心盖套182防止盖元件136受到污染。通过易断裂的幅圈184将盖套182连接喉部142,为方便将盖套拆除而设置翼片或舌片186和188。
在图13和图15中明显看出,盖元件136固定在基体元件134上,具体地说,盖元件136的帽座158可拆除地安放并固定在基体元件134的帽座146的内表面150上。帽座158上的凸缘172和174与基体元件的螺纹151和152共同作用,以便在元件134和136之间提供插销。另外,帽座158的锥部166磨擦式地衔接帽座146上的锥部156。
当然应理解,上面介绍的插销和路厄锁定连接装置只是将如元件134和136中可拆卸地固定连接在一起的几种已知装置中的两种,在本发明的范围内还有其他种连接装置。
按照本发明的另一替换实施例,并根据容器中物料的分配情况,首先将盖套182从容器上取掉,即通过夹紧并扭曲翼片186和188的方法,以便断裂可断的幅圈184,从而取下盖套。然后用几种不同的方法分配容器内物料。开始可通过重复注入盖元件136的膜片76用注射器或销针使物料取出。此外,利用从基体元件134上旋松和拆卸重复注入盖元件136可使物料通过基体元件134倾注出来。还有,如果只需将部分物料移出或倾倒出来,可把盖套182移到盖元件136或基体元件134的顶部上,以便防止物料槽遭受污染。另外,可将皮下注射针装配到基体元件134上,物料通过注射针进行分配。
上述,叙述和附图仅作为对本发明的说明,但不是限制本发明。利用本发明的主题和范围还可能有其他结构的盖插件,这对本技术领域的普通技术人员来说是容易实现的。

Claims (19)

1.热塑性材料的密闭式容器,包括
(a)主体部分,上端中止在与其结合的颈部;
(b)与所述颈部结合的喉部;
(c)固定在所述喉部中的预模制盖插件,所述盖插件具有粗糙的周面和在限定的轴向延伸的通道,和
(d)可拆卸盖套与所述喉部结合,且由粗糙周面上盖插件圆周的可断裂幅圈界定轮廓。

18.按照权利要求16的容器,其中所述基体元件的帽座和所述盖元件的所述帽座在相互接触情况下带有路厄锥度部分。
19.按照权利要求14的容器,还包括与所述喉部结合而且复盖所述反复注入盖元件的可拆卸盖套,所述盖套由限定所述反复注入盖元件的圆周可断裂幅圈限定其轮廓。
