Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of cat litter processing, and particularly relates to a production process for preparing cat litter by using pectin extraction residues.
Background
In recent years, pets have come into the eyes of people, and more people prefer to raise small pets, and because cat raising is labor-saving compared to other animals, cat raising is a preference of most people. The cat most needs to be fed by people to help the cat to carry excrement, and the two links are easy to solve the problem of cat raising. On one hand, the cat litter is a tired alive animal, and on the other hand, the cat urine cannot be caked and is difficult to remove due to the poor water absorption performance of the traditional cat litter; on the other hand, the traditional cat litter is too loose, so that broken cat litter particles are brought out when the cat comes out of the cat litter box, the floor also needs to be cleaned, and the workload in the aspect of sanitation is greatly increased; in addition, the traditional cat litter has poor odor absorption capacity, a double-layer mask is required to be worn when the litter is shoveled, and sometimes the odor of the cat litter is even emitted out of the cat litter box. From the above, the traditional cat litter has the problems of poor looseness, water absorption capacity, poor odor absorption capacity and the like.
China is a large fruit industry production country, and many fruit processing enterprises exist, so that fruit residues are abandoned as waste materials in many enterprises. The pectin is extracted only once after the pectin is extracted from the pomace by the existing enterprises, and the pectin is not extracted. The residual residues are directly treated as waste products, which causes resource waste and environmental pollution. The residue obtained by extracting pectin contains pectin components, so that the cat litter has an excellent water absorption effect, can effectively reduce peculiar smell, and is matched with the requirements of cat litter, so that the cat litter prepared from the pectin residue has a good application prospect.

1. The production process for preparing the cat litter by using the pectin extraction residues is characterized by comprising the following steps of:
(1) pretreating pectin residues: selecting pectin-extracted residue, oven drying at 60-70 deg.C in oven, adding clear water for rinsing, heating to 60-80 deg.C, stirring for 20-30min, filtering, and continuously drying at 60-70 deg.C to obtain fruit residue;
(2) and (3) treatment of fruit residues: adding sodium chloride and clear water into the fruit residues, adjusting the pH to 4.5-5.5, mixing and stirring uniformly, adding sodium carbonate, stirring continuously, and then placing in a centrifuge for high-speed centrifugation to obtain a prefabricated material for later use;
(3) treating a prefabricated material: drying the prefabricated material in a drying furnace, adding an ethanol solution and sodium hydroxide to adjust the pH value to be neutral, grinding the mixture in a grinder into slurry, adding diatomite, and mixing and stirring to obtain a mixture for later use;
(4) preparing an antibacterial liquid: selecting honeysuckle, mint, lemon grass and wormwood, cutting up, adding an ethanol solution, heating to 80-85 ℃, soaking for 3-6h, filtering to obtain a filtrate, concentrating 1/5 (volume of crude oil) to obtain a concentrated solution, adding a copper sulfate solution, mixing and stirring to obtain an antibacterial solution for later use;
(5) and (3) antibacterial treatment of the mixture: drying the mixture at constant temperature until the water content is lower than 20%, adding the antibacterial liquid, standing for 2-3h in water bath at 60-70 ℃, filtering, and drying at normal temperature to obtain an antibacterial material for later use;
(6) preparing auxiliary materials: mixing zeolite, perlite and kaolin, calcining at high temperature, grinding and crushing to obtain auxiliary materials for later use;
(7) preparing cat litter: and (3) adding the antibacterial material into the adhesive and a sodium hydroxide solution with the concentration of 0.5%, uniformly stirring, adding the auxiliary materials in the step (6), stirring and mixing, extruding in an extruder, and drying to obtain the cat litter.
