The invention overcomes the difficult problem that the power line patrol quality is difficult to be ensured all the time, effectively solves the problems of difficult management and in-place manual line patrol caused by simply using a manual line patrol mode, and improves the patrol attendance rate; the system adopts an open design, is simple to use and convenient to operate, ensures that the defect management is more accurate and more standard, and effectively eliminates the defects; meanwhile, the system has high positioning precision and can share information resources with other systems (such as basic data positioning information of a geographic information system and defect closed-loop processing in a production operation management system); and the data security of the system is ensured through the management of users and operation authorities. Through the application of the palm intelligent inspection system for the cable path, the efficiency and the quality of inspection work in the power industry are greatly improved, and the stable operation of a power grid is ensured.
