Description

Roller adjusting device for frog
Technical Field
The present invention relates to railway technology and in particular to a device for connecting to stock rails for transferring railway switch rails.
Background
Roller arrangements are known as in patent US1599733, in which the frog is displaced in a horizontal direction on bearing rollers connected to adjustable supports of the frog.
In this known device the lifting force is constant, so that the position of the switch rail above the blade seat does not change. When the rail is loaded by the transfer of the wheel, the rail sits on the seat due to the impact.
Further known is a roller support for a switch rail comprising a body connectable to a stock rail, wherein the rollers open on an axis parallel to the switch rail or blade, as is evident from RU238578 in cl.e01b 7/02 in 1969.
Sliding devices are also known in which the connecting block is formed by means of a connecting device which screws it to the base of the stock rail, and in which the oscillating lever bearing the transfer roller is raised by means of a spring placed laterally at the body and connected to the oscillating lever by means of a tie-rod, as can be seen in CS 277466 in cl.e01b 7/02, B61L 5/02, 12/29/1990.
However, a disadvantage of this solution is the placement of the springs mounted between the rails. This location can cause difficulties not only by inspection of the rail switches but also by manual or mechanical work of the rail, and can cause damage to the spring itself, as well as potentially resultant rail disasters.
Adjustable blade supports are also known, which are integrated in a main body connected to the stock rail, wherein the rollers open on an axis parallel to the blade, as is evident in RU 2265687 in cl.e01b 7/02 of 2000.
The most similar technical solution is an adjustable roller support device for a switch rail, comprising a hooked body formed with side walls, a face transverse wall with a face opening and a lower wall with a lower opening, wherein a tightening device is fixed in the face opening for connecting the body to a stock rail, wherein a resilient support is screwed in the lower opening, which support bears on its upper end the free end of a swinging lever, which lever is connected to the side walls by means of bolts. The oscillating lever bears two rollers on the bolt, one of which is in contact with the elastic support. This solution is published in RU2117085 in cl.e01b of 1998.
The basic disadvantages of the solution are as follows:
during traffic, in the first position of the blade, the roller-carrying blade sits on the seat as a result of impact, which is the result of unpredictable deformation of the relevant elements while the blade transfer is in progress, which results in hindering the correct function of all rail switches, with all negative consequences naturally.
-providing only a partial adjustment of the position of the blade relative to the roller in the vertical direction only,
the configuration of the elastic support in the form of an overhanging shank with a plate or disc seated with a pushing spring covered by a pushing element on its upper end causes immediate wear of the plate due to the impact under the approach of the blade, which can lead to braking of the support.
Therefore, this configuration of the support causes vibrations of the blade or the switch rail and all rail switch devices, which means that the lifetime of the device is reduced.
The technical purpose of the present invention is to create an adjustable or adjustable roller device for the switch rails or blades of railway points, offering a wider range of technical possibilities and this is used for the possibility of adjusting the number of rollers in the relative movements.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical object is achieved by the invention by an adjusting roller device for forming a switch rail, comprising: a body equipped with side guide walls and a connecting block adapted to connect the body to a stock rail, the block comprising side walls, a face wall and a lower wall, wherein the connection to the base of the stock rail is on the base of a resilient clip and an anchor screw with a nut, and in particular the clip is held in one of the face walls, wherein the body further comprises: a resilient support seated in an opening of the lower wall; a swing lever in contact with the elastic support and having one end seated on a shaft or bolt placed in an opening in a side wall, wherein further, according to the invention, the swing lever is formed in the form of two vertical panels connected by a transverse panel, located in the body, and wherein the device is equipped with complementary bolts, wherein all the bolts are fixed in the vertical walls of the swing lever, and the elastic support is made of an elastomer, wherein the elastic clamp is formed in a 3D piece from one piece of elastic material with a circular cross section and with two parallel portions, intended for connection to the outside of the body, and simultaneously, a central portion of the clamp provides a form ensuring connection with the anchoring screw, and finally, an opening for the bolt or shaft of the swing lever is formed in the side wall of the body, these openings serve to fix the lever in the walls formed as vertically slotted guide slits.
The present device, when secured to the base of a stock rail, reduces the effect of sharp load power spikes on geometry changes under blade shifting.
The present configuration of the connecting block results in a reduction of the vibration of the blade under the transfer movement of the blade from its lateral position to another.
Forming the resilient support from an elastomer minimizes vibration of the blade and all transfer devices, thus extending the life of the device.
According to technical possibilities and related objects, the number of bolts of the related rollers is as follows:
the rollers are seated on the complementary bolts and are in contact with the elastic support,
two rollers are seated on the bolt and one of the two rollers is in contact with the elastic support,
two rollers are seated on the bolt, wherein one of the two rollers is in contact with the elastic support and the other roller is equipped with an adjustment mechanism of its position, which is placed in the second opening of the transverse panel.
For example, the possibility of adjusting or regulating the position of the first and second rollers enables the use of the device in a wide temperature range. From-60 to +60C and also in the case of wear of the blade or the frog seat or other parts of other elements of all the devices.
Advantageously, an adjustment mechanism based on a screw and a nut may be used for the position adjustment of the second roller.
The present regulating roller device for a switch rail makes it possible to absolutely eliminate the lubrication of the working surface of the switch rail seat, which reduces the maintenance costs and improves the ecology in such a way that the penetration of the depleted lubricant into the soil is eliminated.
While the blade is smoothly displaced with the minimum force required and while reducing wear of the blade, the failure rate of the drive motor of the device is reduced.
The use of the device according to the invention reduces negative ecological effects by eliminating contamination with used lubricant.
In addition, the maintenance personnel are more secure in terms of working, since there is no need to lubricate the rail seats regularly, which is essential in particular in the case of railroad hump traffic.

Detailed Description
The roller device for the adjustment of railway switch rails comprises a main body made up of side walls 1, of a face transverse wall 2 and of a lower wall 3 and equipped with an extension 4 formed for fixing at the base of the stock rail, and further comprises: an elastic support 5 produced from an elastomer and placed in an opening of the lower wall 3; and a swinging lever, which is in contact with the elastic support 5 and which also contains the connecting block.
The oscillating lever is formed in the form of two vertical panels 6 connected by a transverse panel 7, these panels 7 being seated in the body of the device.
The oscillating lever is in contact with the elastic support 5 and one end of it is placed on a shaft 8 placed in an opening 9 in the side wall 1 of the body. The opening 9 is formed in the form of a vertically oriented groove or cut-out, wherein the shaft can be moved in the vertical direction.
The bolts 10, 11, 12 with the rollers 13, 14 are placed in the panel with the rollers 13 in contact with the resilient support 5.
The connection block is constituted by an elastic clamp 15 and a screw 16 with a nut 17, which are placed in one of the face walls 2.
The elastic clamp 15 is formed by a piece of elastic material 3D having a circular section and is in the form of two parallel portions adapted to be connected to the outside of the body and in the form of a central portion, which enables connection with an anchoring screw 16.
Depending on the technical conditions and on the conditions under which the rollers are placed, the following can be chosen, for example:
the rollers 13 are placed on the central complementary bolt 11 and in contact with the elastic support 5, or
The rollers 13, 14 are placed on the bolts 10 and 12, wherein the rollers 13 are in contact with the elastic support 5, or
The rollers 13, 14 are placed on the bolts 10 and 12, with the roller 13 in contact with the elastic support 5 and the roller 14 equipped with a mechanism for adjusting or regulating its position, which is placed in an opening 18 formed in the lower wall 3 of the body.
The means for adjusting the position are here formed in the form of an adjusting screw 19 and a nut 20.
The installation site and the number of pieces of the present device will be individually selected.
The position of this adjustment roller device for the switch rail can be changed according to the respective specifications for placing the blade, and one or two devices, which means one or two sleeper boxes, can be placed at most between two sleepers from their basic position.
The adjustment roller devices for railway rails do not need to be directly in the relative positions, but they can also be placed in an alternating manner.
Typically, two devices are used on a blade 10m long, and as such in the front of the blade this means between the transfer boxes 2-m and 3-m from the root of the blade, and this carries one roller.
The function of the device or all the configurations of rollers and bolts are as follows:
the stock rail (not shown in the figures) will be cleaned in place for tightening the device and the small stones in the space below the stock rail will be cleaned, so that the space for mounting the device is ready. A free depth of about 20-25cm is required.
Where the connecting piece is in contact with the roller 13 or rollers l4, 15, the lower surface of the blade will be cleaned.
The blade will be moved by the stock rail into a position and in this position the device will be mounted under the base of the stock rail, by means of the connecting block. The nut 17 will be tightened with only a small deformation up to the resilient tightening clamp 15.
A tightening torque of 80-86Nm will then be used to connect the roller 13 with the elastic support 5, with the lower surface of the blade resting on the roller. All devices will thereafter prove in the correct position on the rail. This will be done so that after installation the blade will be moved back and forth in order to check the position of the blade in relation to the roller. The blade is assumed to rest on the roller. For all said configurations of the rollers, the installation and adjustment of the device should be carried out in the prescribed sequence of steps.
For the arrangement in which the rollers 13 are placed on the central complementary bolt 11 and in the case of rollers 13, the adjustment sequence is similar in the case of two rollers, so:
the first step is done in the closed position, which means in the locked position, where the blade is in a position passing the stock rail.
A gap between the lower surface of the blade and the opposite upper surface of the seat will be observed and this is in the point of placement of the device seen from both sides.
The elastic support 5 will be adjusted, which means that the position of the roller 13 is raised or lowered by means of the adjustment screw 21 until the moment of contact with the lower surface of the blade is reached.
In the case of two adjustment rollers 13 and 14 used in the device, the second roller 14 is then modulated.
The adjustment roller 14 is adjusted to a level in response to the previous adjustment of the first roller 13 using the rotation of the second adjustment screw 19 and the nut 20.
Further, with the rotation of the adjustment screw 21 placed under the roller 13, the blade will be raised 1-2mm, which is related to the position of the gap measured earlier between the lower surface of the blade and the upper surface of the seat.
The roller 14 will thereafter be adjusted at the same level at which the first roller is now located.
Since the blade is level above the seat surface, when supported by the rollers 13, and after balancing the rollers, the blade is moved to the position "blade off stock rail" and additionally for this position the gap between the lower surface of the blade and the upper surface of the seat will be checked.
Several devices of this type were produced and tested with the following results:
Figure BDA0002545263770000061
Figure BDA0002545263770000071
as can be seen in the table, the minimum time of the transfer was reduced from 0.464s to 0.307s, meaning a ratio of 1.51, and the maximum time was reduced from 0.586s to 0.454s, meaning a ratio of 1.29.
The operation of the device is reliable in all the duration of testing the switch rail transfer equipped with the device, both with respect to the roller device and with respect to the blade element and its power accessories.
