Description
Resilient roller mounting for switch tongues The invention relates to a resilient, height-adjustable roller mounting for switch tongues. The known roller bearings of this type formed part of the other adjusting device of the switch, so that the removal or replacement of certain parts he requested the temporary shutdown of the switch.
The invention was based on the idea of creating a completely inde pendent roller bearing of the switch of the switch, which also offers a wider contact surface than the known rolling systems and at the same time makes it possible to take extensive precautions against contamination.
The invention consists in that a plurality of support rollers is mounted in a separate bearing block, which is placed on height-adjustable spring supports, so that the running plane of the rollers can be set precisely to the horizontal and a certain height.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the roller block is inserted into a bearing block carrying the spring supports, which is used together with the roller block as a closed unit in a recess in the support plate of the switch tongue or is attached to the stock rail next to it.
Apart from the fact that the bearing block, which is combined with the roller block to form a structural unit, creates the most favorable conditions for any repair cases, the spring supports allow the top tangential plane of the rollers to be adjusted to the nearest millimeter, which in turn creates the most favorable operating conditions for the adjustment movements of the switch tongues .
The subject of the invention is illustrated in the drawing, for example.
Fig. 1 shows the view of the overall arrangement according to the invention.
Fig. 2 is a sectional view taken along line A-B of Fig. G. 1.
In the embodiment shown, the roller bearing has a bearing block 1 into which the separate roller block 2 is inserted. In the roller block 2, the rollers 2 'are stored, which protrude slightly beyond the bearing plane of the support plate of the switch tongue when the switch tongue is unloaded. The roller block 2 rests on two spring supports which are screwed into the bottom of the bearing block 1 set screws ben 4 and annular or spiral springs 5 are formed.
These adjusting screws leave the tangential plane of the rollers, which forms their running plane; Set exactly to the horizontal and at the same time enable adjustment of the suspension stroke of the rollers with millimeter precision. In order to be able to store the moving parts completely in grease, 1 grease nipple 6 are embedded in the bearing block, through which the grease is pressed into the space between the bearing block and the roller block. A sealing ring 7 prevents the grease from escaping.
