Here, HTML, which is called HyperText Markup Language (HyperText Markup Language), is a standard Markup Language for creating web pages, and describes the web pages by Markup tags, where the HTML tags are used to describe characters, graphics, animation, sound, tables, links, etc., and a browser reads an HTML document, interprets the content of the tags in the document, and displays the content in the form of web pages.
CSS, known as Cascading Style Sheets (Cascading Style Sheets), is a computer language used to represent the Style of HTML documents, and may be used to define Style structures, such as fonts, colors, locations, etc. The CSS style can be directly stored in the HTML webpage or a separate style file, so that the style in the webpage can be controlled.
JavaScript, a language applied to Web page programming, can be inserted into an HTML page and interpreted and executed by a browser. The interaction logic of the Web application is realized by JavaScript. The JavaScript can package a JavaScript extension interface through a browser, realize the communication with the kernel layer,
the middleware layer may provide some standardized interfaces to support the operation of various environments and systems. For example, the middleware layer may be implemented as multimedia and hypermedia information coding experts group (MHEG) middleware related to data broadcasting, DLNA middleware which is middleware related to communication with an external device, middleware which provides a browser environment in which each application program in the display device operates, and the like.
The kernel layer provides core system services, such as: file management, memory management, process management, network management, system security authority management and the like. The kernel layer may be implemented as a kernel based on various operating systems, for example, a kernel based on the Linux operating system.
The kernel layer also provides communication between system software and hardware, and provides device driver services for various hardware, such as: provide display driver for the display, provide camera driver for the camera, provide button driver for the remote controller, provide wiFi driver for the WIFI module, provide audio driver for audio output interface, provide power management drive for Power Management (PM) module etc..
A user interface 265 receives various user interactions. Specifically, it is used to transmit an input signal of a user to the controller 250 or transmit an output signal from the controller 250 to the user. For example, the remote controller 100A may transmit an input signal, such as a power switch signal, a channel selection signal, a volume adjustment signal, etc., input by the user to the user interface 265, and then the input signal is transferred to the controller 250 through the user interface 265; alternatively, the remote controller 100A may receive an output signal such as audio, video, or data output from the user interface 265 via the controller 250, and display the received output signal or output the received output signal in audio or vibration form.
In some embodiments, a user may enter user commands on a Graphical User Interface (GUI) displayed on the display 275, and the user interface 265 receives the user input commands through the GUI. Specifically, the user interface 265 may receive user input commands for controlling the position of a selector in the GUI to select different objects or items.
Alternatively, the user may input a user command by inputting a specific sound or gesture, and the user interface 265 receives the user input command by recognizing the sound or gesture through the sensor.
The video processor 270 is configured to receive an external video signal, and perform video data processing such as decompression, decoding, scaling, noise reduction, frame rate conversion, resolution conversion, and image synthesis according to a standard codec protocol of the input signal, so as to obtain a video signal that is directly displayed or played on the display 275.
Illustratively, the video processor 270 includes a demultiplexing module, a video decoding module, an image synthesizing module, a frame rate conversion module, a display formatting module, and the like.
The demultiplexing module is configured to demultiplex an input audio/video data stream, where, for example, an input MPEG-2 stream (based on a compression standard of a digital storage media moving image and voice), the demultiplexing module demultiplexes the input audio/video data stream into a video signal and an audio signal.
And the video decoding module is used for processing the video signal after demultiplexing, including decoding, scaling and the like.
And the image synthesis module is used for carrying out superposition mixing processing on the GUI signal input by the user or generated by the user and the video image after the zooming processing by the graphic generator so as to generate an image signal for display.
The frame rate conversion module is configured to convert a frame rate of an input video, for example, convert a frame rate of an input 60Hz video into a frame rate of 120Hz or 240Hz, where a common format is implemented by using, for example, an interpolation frame method.
And a display formatting module for converting the signal output by the frame rate conversion module into a signal conforming to a display format of a display, such as converting the format of the signal output by the frame rate conversion module to output an RGB data signal.
And a display 275 for receiving the image signal from the output of the video processor 270 and displaying video, images and menu manipulation interfaces. For example, the display may display video from a broadcast signal received by the tuner demodulator 210, may display video input from the communicator 220 or the external device interface 240, and may display an image stored in the memory 260. The display 275, while displaying a user manipulation interface UI generated in the display apparatus 200 and used to control the display apparatus 200.
And, the display 275 may include a display screen assembly for presenting a picture and a driving assembly for driving the display of an image. Alternatively, a projection device and projection screen may be included, provided display 275 is a projection display.
The audio processor 280 is configured to receive an external audio signal, decompress and decode the received audio signal according to a standard codec protocol of the input signal, and perform audio data processing such as noise reduction, digital-to-analog conversion, and amplification processing to obtain an audio signal that can be played by the speaker 286.
Illustratively, audio processor 280 may support various audio formats. Such as MPEG-2, MPEG-4, Advanced Audio Coding (AAC), high efficiency AAC (HE-AAC), and the like.
Audio output interface 285 receives audio signals from the output of audio processor 280. For example, the audio output interface may output audio in a broadcast signal received via the tuner demodulator 210, may output audio input via the communicator 220 or the external device interface 240, and may output audio stored in the memory 260. The audio output interface 285 may include a speaker 286, or an external audio output terminal 287, such as an earphone output terminal, that outputs to a generating device of an external device.
In other exemplary embodiments, video processor 270 may comprise one or more chips. Audio processor 280 may also comprise one or more chips.
And, in other exemplary embodiments, the video processor 270 and the audio processor 280 may be separate chips or may be integrated with the controller 250 in one or more chips.
And a power supply 290 for supplying power supply support to the display apparatus 200 from the power input from the external power source under the control of the controller 250. The power supply 290 may be a built-in power supply circuit installed inside the display apparatus 200 or may be a power supply installed outside the display apparatus 200.
In some embodiments, during the start-up process or during the playing process of some video contents, the display device as described above plays some advertisements, so as to realize the placement of the advertisements on the display device. For example, after a user selects to play video content that the user needs to watch, the display device may first select one or more advertisements to play according to a preset playing policy, and then play the video content selected by the user after the advertisements are played.
However, in the above embodiment, in the process of playing the advertisement by the display device, the user cannot operate the advertisement played on the display device, and can only passively watch the advertisement played by the display device, which causes difficulty in matching between the advertisement and the advertisement audience, thereby affecting the advertisement delivery effect.
Therefore, the embodiment of the present application provides an advertisement playing method, which is used for playing an advertisement that a user wants to watch according to a user selection in an advertisement playing process, so as to improve an advertisement putting effect.
In the following, how the display screen changes during the execution of the advertisement playing method provided by the embodiment of the present application will be described in two implementation manners, namely, controlling the display device to execute the advertisement playing method through voice and controlling the display device to execute the advertisement playing method through operating the control device.
First, how the display screen of the display device changes in the process of controlling the display device to execute the advertisement playing method by operating the control device will be described.
A schematic diagram of playing an advertisement provided by the display device 200 is exemplarily shown in fig. 2.
As shown in fig. 2, the display device may provide an advertisement 41 to the display, the advertisement 41 may be stored locally on the display device or in a server, and the advertisement 41 may relate to the content of the product, which is not limited in this application.
Fig. 3A to 3E are schematic views exemplarily showing one GUI400 provided by the display apparatus 200 by operating the control device 100.
In fig. 2, while an advertisement is played on the display of the display apparatus, the user may input a page display instruction instructing to display an advertisement selection page by operating the control device, and the display apparatus may display the advertisement selection page on the currently played screen in response to the instruction.
For example, as shown in fig. 3A, by the user pressing a "select" key on the control device, the display apparatus may provide a GUI to the display including playing an advertisement 41 with the entire display area of the display, an item 42 and an item 43 displayed superimposed on the advertisement 41, and providing a selector 44 indicating that any one of the items is selected, in response to the instruction input by the key. Wherein items 42 and 43 may correspond to different advertisement selection pages, respectively, e.g., item 42 may correspond to an advertisement selection page comprising a picture-type list of advertisements, while item 43 may correspond to an advertisement selection page comprising a text-type list of advertisements. Wherein, for the selector 44, the user can move the position of the selector in the GUI by manipulating the input of the control means to change the selection of different items.
It should be noted that an item refers to a visual object displayed in a GUI provided by a display device to represent corresponding content such as an icon, a thumbnail, a link, and the like. The presentation forms of items are often diverse. For example, the items may include text content and/or images for displaying thumbnails related to the text content. As another example, the item may be text and/or an icon of an application.
It should also be noted that the display form of the selector may be the focus object. The movement of the display focus object in the display apparatus 200 may be controlled to select or control items according to an input of a user through the control device 100. Such as: the user may select and control items by controlling the movement of the focus object between items through the direction keys on the control device 100. The identification form of the focus object is not limited. For example, as shown in fig. 3A, the position of the focus object may be realized or identified by setting the background color of the item, or may be identified by changing the border line, size, transparency, and outline of the text or image of the focused item, and/or the font.
In fig. 3A, when the user operates the control means to instruct the selector 44 to select the item 42, such as the user pressing the "ok" key on the control means, as shown in fig. 3B, the display device displays an advertisement selection page on the display in response to a page display instruction input by the key, the advertisement selection page including the second area 40A for displaying the advertisement 41; the advertisement selection page also includes a first area 40B for displaying different advertisement types including items 421-425.
In fig. 3A, when the user operates the control means to instruct the selector 44 to select the item 43, such as the user pressing the "down direction" key and the "ok" key on the control means, as shown in fig. 3C, the display device displays another advertisement selection page including the second area 40A for displaying the advertisement 41 on the display in response to the page display instruction input by the key; the advertisement selection page also includes a first area 40B for displaying an advertisement list including items 431-433. Here, items 431-433 are thumbnails of different advertisements, respectively.
In the case of switching the area in which the advertisement is displayed, since the switched area may not match the advertisement playback ratio, it is possible to select to adjust the advertisement playback ratio to suit the switched area.
It should be noted that the number of items included in the advertisement selection page corresponding to the items 42 and 43 may be set according to actual situations, and the application is not limited thereto.
In fig. 3B and 3C, a user may input an advertisement selection instruction for a target advertisement in an advertisement selection page by operating a control device, and the display apparatus plays the target advertisement corresponding to the target advertisement on the display in response to the input advertisement selection instruction.
For example, in FIG. 3B, when the user presses the "OK" key on the control device, as shown in FIG. 3D, the display device indicates that the item 421 is selected by the selector 43 in response to an instruction entered by the key, the targeted advertisement 45 corresponding to the item 421 is played in the second area 40A of the display.
For example, in FIG. 3C, when the user presses the "OK" key on the control, as shown in FIG. 3E, the display device indicates that the selector 43 has selected item 431 in response to the instruction entered by the key, then the targeted advertisement 46 corresponding to item 431 is played in the second area 40A of the display.
In some embodiments, when displaying the advertisement selection interface comprising the plurality of items 421-425 as shown in FIGS. 3B and 3D and the advertisement selection interface comprising the plurality of items 431-433 as shown in FIGS. 3C and 3E, the user may input an instruction indicating to hide the advertisement selection interface by operating the control means, the display apparatus may hide the advertisement selection interface displayed on the display in response to the instruction, and switch the display area of the currently played advertisement from the second area 40A of the display to the entire display area 40 of the display.
For example, in FIG. 3B, the user may press the "Back" key on the control device to restore the content displayed on the display to that shown in FIG. 3A. Similarly, in FIG. 3E, the user may press the "Back" key on the control, as shown in FIG. 4, the display device, in response to the key input command, hides the advertisement selection interface containing the items 431-433 and switches the display area of the advertisement 46 in the display from the second area 40A of the display to the full display area 40 of the display.
Thus, the description of how the display screen changes in the process of controlling the display device to execute the advertisement playing method by operating the control device is completed.
Next, how the display screen of the display device changes in the process of controlling the display device to execute the advertisement playing method by voice will be described.
Here, the schematic diagram of playing an advertisement provided by the display device 200 shown in fig. 2 is still taken as an example.
In fig. 2, when the display of the display device plays the advertisement 41, the user may input advertisement voice information to the display device by operating the control device, and the display device may switch the advertisement currently played on the display to the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement voice information in response to the input advertisement voice information.
For example, as shown in fig. 4, the user can press a "voice capture" key on the control device, and then trigger a microphone provided on the control device to capture the advertisement voice information of the user. For example, the advertising voice information may be "clothing". After the microphone finishes the collection of the advertising voice information, the control device can transmit the advertising voice information to the display equipment. The display device, upon receiving the advertising voice message sent by the control means, may provide the advertisement 42 corresponding to the voice message "clothing" to the display to cause the display to play the advertisement 42.
So far, how the display screen changes in the execution process of the advertisement playing method provided by the embodiment of the present application is described.
First, the specific implementation steps of the advertisement playing method provided by the embodiment of the present application are described from the perspective of controlling the display device to implement the advertisement playing method through voice information:
referring to fig. 5A, fig. 5A is a flowchart of an advertisement playing method provided in the embodiment of the present application. The flow can be applied to the display device as above. Referring to fig. 6A, the display device in the embodiment of the present application at least includes a display, and a controller, such as a GPU (Graphics Processing Unit), coupled to the display. The advertisement playing frame structure in the controller is shown in fig. 6A, which includes an advertisement processing module and an advertisement playing module. In addition, fig. 6A also includes a server associated with the display device, and the server is provided with an advertisement configuration module. As to how the advertisement configuration module, the advertisement processing module and the advertisement playing module interact and their respective specific functions, the following description of the process steps shown in fig. 5A may be considered, and will not be repeated here.
As shown in fig. 5A, the process may include the following steps:
step 101, an advertisement playing module plays an advertisement on a display of a display device.
As one example, the display device may play the advertisement upon completion of power-on, or before or during the playing of certain video content. As for the display device, when the advertisement needs to be played, the display device may be specifically set according to actual situations, and the embodiment of the present application is not limited thereto.
As one example, when the display device determines that an advertisement needs to be played, the advertisement may be played by:
step a, an advertisement processing module detects whether advertisement configuration information is stored in a local appointed storage position; if yes, turning to the step b; if yes, go to step c.
As an example, at least one entry may be included in the advertisement configuration information, and each entry may include at least: the advertisement type identification of the advertisement and the advertisement playing address of the advertisement. The advertisement type identifier is used for uniquely identifying one advertisement type and is used as a selection basis when the advertisement is played. How to play the advertisement according to the advertisement type identifier will be described in detail later, and will not be described herein again. The advertisement playing address may be a Uniform Resource Locator (URL) address, where the URL address may be used to indicate a storage address in a local hard disk of the display device, a storage address in a local cache of the display device, or a storage address in a server associated with the display device. In addition, the advertisement configuration information may further include an advertisement identifier for uniquely identifying an advertisement.
The following exemplary list is an implementation of advertisement configuration information, as shown in table 1:
TABLE 1
Advertisement sign Advertisement type identification URL address
A1 T1 http://www.aaa.com/A1
A2 T2 http://www.aaa.com/A2
A3 T3 http://www.aaa.com/A3
As shown in table 1, the advertisement configuration information includes 3 entries, which respectively record the advertisement identifiers, the advertisement types, and the advertisement playing URL addresses of three different advertisements.
As one example, to avoid the display device losing the advertisement information list when turned off, therefore, the advertisement configuration information may be stored into a hard disk of the display device.
And b, the advertisement processing module sends an advertisement information list request to an advertisement configuration module of the server associated with the display equipment so as to request the advertisement information list stored in the advertisement configuration module.
As one example, the ad configuration information may be stored in an ad configuration module of the server, configured and updated by associated back-office managers. The advertisement processing module can send an advertisement information list request to the associated server through the display device when detecting that the specified storage position of the display device does not store the advertisement information list. When the server receives the advertisement information list request sent by the display device, the server can send the advertisement configuration information stored in the advertisement configuration module to the display device, so that the display device obtains the advertisement configuration information and stores the advertisement configuration information to a specified storage location.
It should be noted that, when the advertisement configuration information stored in the advertisement configuration module in the server is updated, the server may also actively send the updated advertisement configuration information to the display device to update the advertisement configuration information stored in the display device.
C, the advertisement processing module checks whether the display device locally stores the advertisement type identification of the advertisement played before; if yes, go to step d; if not, go to step e.
As an example, when playing an advertisement, the display device may record an advertisement type identifier corresponding to the advertisement, so as to be a selection basis for playing the advertisement again in the following.
And d, the advertisement processing module selects a playing address of the advertisement to be played from the advertisement configuration information according to the locally stored advertisement type identification of the advertisement played before.
As an example, the advertisement processing module may select a playing address of an advertisement to be played from the advertisement configuration information according to the locally stored advertisement type identifier of the advertisement played before.
As one example, there are various implementations for the advertisement processing module to select a play address based on the advertisement type identification of the previously played advertisement. As one implementation manner, the locally stored advertisement type identifier of the advertisement played before may be used as a keyword, and all entries containing the keyword are found in the advertisement configuration information. Then, the playing address recorded by one or more entries may be selected from the entries to serve as the playing address of the advertisement to be played. Here, taking the above listed table 1 as an example, if the advertisement type identifier of the locally stored advertisement played before is T1, an entry containing the advertisement identifier a1 and the URL address http:// www.aaa.com/a1 is found in table 1, and then the found http:// www.aaa.com/a1 can be used as the playing address of the advertisement to be played.
It should be noted that, when the advertisement is played, the number of the advertisement played by the display device may be set according to an actual situation, and the application does not specifically limit the number.
And e, the advertisement processing module selects one or more play addresses from the advertisement information list according to a default mode.
As one example, one or more play addresses may be selected by the advertisement processing module from the list of advertisement information in a default manner.
As one example, there are a number of implementations for the advertisement processing module to select the play address by default. As one of the implementations, one or more play addresses may be randomly selected. As another implementation, the play address in the first entry in the advertisement configuration information may also be selected. In this embodiment, the specific implementation manner of selecting the broadcast address is not limited, and any manner in which the broadcast address can be selected may be used as the default manner.
Here, whether step d or step e, the playing address of one or more advertisements to be played is selected. Thereafter, step f may be performed:
and f, the advertisement processing module sends the selected playing address to the advertisement playing module, and the advertisement playing module plays the corresponding advertisement on the display according to the selected playing address.
As an example, after the advertisement processing module selects the playing addresses, if a plurality of playing addresses are selected, the advertisement processing module may send the playing addresses to the advertisement playing module in sequence according to the sequence of the playing addresses in the advertisement information list, so that the advertisement playing module controls the local player to play the advertisements corresponding to the playing addresses in sequence. Of course, if the advertisement processing module selects only one playing address, the playing address can be directly sent to the advertisement playing module, so that the advertisement playing module controls the local player to uniquely play the advertisement corresponding to the playing address.
As an example, the native player may be a browser in the display device, and the browser may be pre-installed when the display device is shipped from a factory, or may be installed autonomously by a user after the display device is shipped from a factory. Of course, the local player may also be other video players besides the browser, and the embodiment of the present application does not specifically limit the player that plays the advertisement.
As an example, when playing an advertisement according to a playing address, the local player may be different according to the playing address. For example, when the playing address is a storage address in a server associated with the display device, the player accesses the server through a network to obtain the advertisement stored in the server for playing. When the playing address is the storage address in the local hard disk or the cache of the display device, the player can directly obtain the advertisement stored in the hard disk or the cache without accessing the local hard disk or the cache through the internet, and then play the advertisement.
Step 102, the voice input module receives advertisement voice information input from outside and outputs the advertisement voice information to the voice recognition module.
As an example, the user may press a voice capture key on the control device to trigger a microphone provided on the control device to capture voice information input by the user. After the control device collects the voice information of the user, the voice information can be transmitted to the voice input module.
As an example, a voice input module may be disposed in the controller of the display apparatus to receive voice information input by the control device.
Step 103, the voice input module outputs the advertisement voice information to the voice recognition module.
As one example, the voice input module may output the advertising voice information to the voice recognition module after obtaining it.
Step 104, the voice recognition module recognizes the advertisement type according to the received advertisement voice information.
As an example, a voice recognition module may be disposed in the controller of the display device, and configured to receive voice information output by the voice input module and parse advertisement type information carried in the voice information. The speech recognition module here may be the speech recognition module 250e shown in fig. 6A.
As one example, the voice recognition module, upon identifying the advertisement type, may send the identified advertisement type to the advertisement processing module for further processing of the advertisement type by the advertisement processing module.
As one example, since there are differences in advertisement types of advertisements, there are also differences in advertisement type information carried in the advertisement voice information. For example, when the advertisement type is clothing or sports, the advertisement type carried in the advertisement voice message may be clothing or sports. And when the advertisement type is fruit or beverage, the advertisement type information carried in the advertisement voice information can be fruit or beverage.
It should be noted that, the method for recognizing the advertisement voice information in the embodiment of the present application may refer to a voice recognition method in the related art, and the embodiment of the present application does not limit which voice recognition method is specifically adopted to recognize the advertisement voice information.
Step 105, the voice recognition module sends the advertisement type to the advertisement processing module.
Step 106, the advertisement processing module compares whether the advertisement type is consistent with the advertisement type of the current advertisement which is currently played; if not, go to step 107; if so, go to step 108.
As an example, after receiving the advertisement type determined in the advertisement voice message, the advertisement processing module may compare the advertisement type with the advertisement type recorded when the currently played advertisement is played, and determine whether the advertisement type is consistent with the advertisement type recorded when the currently played advertisement is played.
Step 107, the advertisement processing module outputs an output prompt indicating not to switch advertisements.
As an example, if the advertisement processing module determines that the advertisement type in the advertisement voice message is consistent with the advertisement type of the current advertisement, it indicates that the advertisement that the user wishes to view is the currently played advertisement, and an output prompt indicating not to switch the advertisement may be output to the advertisement playing module and displayed on the display.
Step 108, the advertisement processing module finds the advertisement ID and the advertisement playing url address corresponding to the advertisement type in the configured advertisement configuration information.
Specifically, the advertisement configuration information may be implemented in various ways besides the above table 1 implementation way. As one implementation manner, when the advertisement type is recorded in the advertisement configuration information, since the advertisement type is not changed basically, the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement type is changed frequently. Therefore, in order to avoid the need of updating the advertisement configuration information as a whole due to the change of the advertisement, the advertisement type and the broadcast address can be stored independently, and the association between the advertisement type and the broadcast address can be established in the list stored respectively through the advertisement type identifier. For example, the separately stored advertisement types may be as shown in Table 2, and the separately stored advertisement playing addresses may be as shown in Table 3:
TABLE 2
Type of advertisement Advertisement type identification
Exercise of sports T1
Film and television T2
Garment T3
Book with detachable cover T4
Food product T5
TABLE 3
Advertisement sign Advertisement playing address Advertisement type identification

A2 http://www.aaa.com/A2 T2
A3 http://www.aaa.com/A3 T3
A4 http://www.aaa.com/A4 T4
A5 http://www.aaa.com/A5 T5
As can be seen from tables 2 and 3, table 2 and table 3 can be associated by the advertisement type identification. Based on this, when the advertisement processing module searches for the target corresponding relationship, it may first search for the advertisement type identifier corresponding to the advertisement voice information in table 2, and then search for the entry containing the advertisement type identifier in table 3 by using the searched advertisement type identifier, where the entry records the advertisement ID and the advertisement playing address corresponding to the advertisement type. Here, assuming that the advertisement type corresponding to the advertisement voice information is motion, the advertisement ID found based on the advertisement type is a1, and the advertisement playing address is http:// www.aaa.com/a 1.
Step 109, the advertisement processing module sends the advertisement playing url address to the advertisement playing module.
And step 110, the advertisement playing module plays the corresponding advertisement according to the advertisement playing url address.
As an example, after the advertisement processing module finds the advertisement playing url address, the advertisement processing module may send the found advertisement playing url address to the advertisement playing module. The advertisement playing module can control the local player to play the target advertisement on the display according to the searched advertisement playing url address.
Thus, the flow shown in fig. 5A is completed.
In the above embodiment, the display device can receive the advertisement voice information input from the outside during the process of playing the advertisement, and then play the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement voice information on the display according to the advertisement voice information. On the basis, the user can actively select the advertisement played on the display device instead of only passively watching the advertisement played by the display device, so that the advertisement is matched with the advertisement audience to a certain extent, and the advertisement putting effect and the watching experience of the user are improved.
In the following, specific implementation steps of the advertisement playing method provided in the embodiment of the present application are described from the perspective of controlling the display device to implement the advertisement playing method by the control device:
referring to fig. 5B, fig. 5B is a flowchart of another advertisement playing method provided in the embodiment of the present application. The flow can be applied to the display device as above. The flow can be applied to the display device as above. Referring to fig. 6B, the display device in the embodiment of the present application at least includes a display, and a controller, such as a GPU (Graphics processing unit), coupled to the display. The advertisement playing frame structure in the controller is shown in fig. 6B, which includes an advertisement processing module and an advertisement playing module. In addition, fig. 6B also includes a server associated with the display device, and the server is provided with an advertisement configuration module. How the above modules interact with each other and their respective specific actions can be determined according to the following description of the flow steps shown in fig. 5B, which is not repeated herein.
As shown in fig. 5B, the process may include the following steps:
step 101, an advertisement is played on a display of a display device.
As an example, the related content of this step has been described in detail in the foregoing embodiments, and is not described here again.
Step 111, when the display plays the advertisement, the advertisement processing module responds to the page display instruction input from the outside to obtain the advertisement information displayed in the advertisement selection page.
As one example, the advertisement selection page may be automatically displayed on the display when the advertisement is played. As another implementation, a page display instruction may be input by the control device to control the display to display the advertisement selection page. This may be done, for example, by the user pressing a directional key and/or a decision key on the control device. For example, in fig. 3A, the user may press a direction key and/or a decision key on the control to select item 42 or item 43 to input a page display instruction to the display device.
As one example, there are various implementations for obtaining advertisement information in an advertisement selection page. As one implementation manner, after receiving the page display instruction, the advertisement processing module may locally obtain advertisement information to be displayed from the display device. The advertisement information here is an advertisement list, for example, the advertisement list may be stored in the aforementioned advertisement configuration information, and each entry in the advertisement list may be an advertisement thumbnail. In other words, in addition to the advertisement identifier, the advertisement type identifier, and the broadcast address stored in the advertisement configuration information, the advertisement thumbnail is also stored in the advertisement configuration information. The following exemplarily shows advertisement configuration information recorded with an advertisement list, which is a storage address where a thumbnail of an advertisement is located, as shown in table 4:

In Table 4 above, ftp:// ste. org in the storage address of the thumbnail refers to a storage directory of the display device that is available for storing thumbnails for advertisements. And A1.Png in the storage address of the thumbnail refers to the file name of the thumbnail of the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement identifier A1, A2.Png refers to the file name of the thumbnail of the advertisement corresponding to the advertisement identifier A2, and so on.
As another implementation of displaying the advertisement selection page, unlike the foregoing implementation, the advertisement information displayed in the advertisement selection page is an advertisement type, and the advertisement type can be obtained from table 1 or table 2. After the advertisement type for display is obtained from table 1 or table 2, the advertisement type may be sent to the advertisement playing module.
In step 112, the advertisement processing module sends the advertisement information to the advertisement playing module.
And step 113, the advertisement playing module displays an advertisement selection page according to the advertisement information.
As an example, the advertisement playing module may control the local player to display on the display according to the received advertisement information after receiving the advertisement information. Specifically, on the basis of table 4, after the advertisement playing module receives the storage addresses of the thumbnails, the advertisement playing module controls the local player to access the storage addresses to obtain corresponding thumbnails, and then displays the obtained thumbnails on the display of the display device. The advertisement selection page displayed by the present implementation is as shown in fig. 3C and 3E. Specifically, on the basis of the above tables 1 and 2, after the advertisement playing module receives the advertisement type, the advertisement playing module controls the local player to display the advertisement type on the display. The advertisement selection page displayed by the present implementation is as shown in fig. 3B and 3D.
As an example, when displaying the advertisement information on the display, the advertisement information may be displayed by being superimposed on the currently played advertisement, or may be displayed by being disjoint from the currently played advertisement. Displaying advertisement information and currently played advertisements on a display without intersecting it can be achieved by the following steps 113a and 113 b:
in step 113a, the advertisement playing module switches the display area of the currently played advertisement in the display from the full screen area to the second area.
As one example, a full screen area refers to the entire display area of the display, e.g., display area 40 in FIG. 2 where advertisement 41 is located. The second area may be a portion of the display area of the display, for example, the area 40A in FIG. 3B where the advertisement 41 is located.
As an example, switching the display area of the advertisement may be implemented by the advertisement playing module switching the playing mode of the player. For example, when the current display area is the entire display area of the display, the advertisement playing module may control the local player to select to play the advertisement in a full-screen playing mode. When the display area needs to be switched, the advertisement playing module can control the local player to be switched from the original playing mode to the window playing mode, and the display area corresponding to the window playing mode is the second area.
In step 113b, the advertisement playing module displays the advertisement information in the first area of the display.
As an example, after the display area of the advertisement is switched from the full screen area to the second area, a part of the area in the display is left out, and all or part of the area can be used as the first area to display the advertisement information. For example, the first region may be the display region 40B in fig. 3B.
As one example, the advertisement playing module may control the player to display advertisement information in the first area. Specifically, the advertisement playing module may control the player to create a playing window based on the first area, and display the advertisement information in the playing window.
And step 114, the advertisement processing module responds to an advertisement selection instruction triggered by the user on the advertisement selection page, and determines a target advertisement to be played through the display according to the advertisement selection instruction.
As an example, an advertisement selection instruction triggered at the advertisement selection page may be input by the control apparatus. In particular, this may be achieved by the user pressing a direction key and/or a decision key on the control device. For example, in FIGS. 3B and 3C, the user may press a direction key and/or a OK key on the control device to select any of items 421-425 and 431-433 to input an advertisement selection instruction to the display device.
As one example, the display device may send an advertisement selection instruction to the advertisement processing module after receiving the advertisement selection instruction triggered on the advertisement selection page, so as to be responded by the advertisement processing module to the advertisement selection instruction.
As an example, after receiving an advertisement selection instruction triggered on an advertisement selection page and input by the control device, the advertisement processing module may determine a playing address of the target advertisement according to an entry in an advertisement list corresponding to the advertisement selection instruction. Specifically, the advertisement processing module may search the advertisement configuration information for configuration information including an entry in the advertisement list corresponding to the advertisement selection instruction, and further obtain a play address in the configuration information. For example, in Table 4, when the user operates the control means to select a thumbnail image stored by ftp:// ste. org/A2.png, then http:// www.aaa.com/A2 may be determined as the ad play address of the targeted ad.
As an example, after the advertisement processing module finds the broadcast address, the broadcast address may be sent to the advertisement playing module in the form of a message.
In step 115, the advertisement processing module sends the advertisement playing address of the target advertisement to the advertisement playing module.
And step 116, the advertisement playing module plays and displays the target advertisement according to the advertisement playing address.
As an example, the advertisement playing module may send the advertisement playing address to the local player after receiving the playing address sent by the advertisement processing module. After the local player receives the playing address, the local player can directly play the target advertisement according to the playing address on the premise of not changing the display area of the currently played advertisement in the display. For example, as shown in fig. 3B, when the advertisement 41 is played in the second area 40A of the display, if the target advertisement 45 needs to be switched to be played, the target advertisement 45 is still played in the second area 40A of the display.
As an example, when displaying the advertisement information as in fig. 3A to 3E, the user may operate the control device, such as pressing a return key on the control device, input a control instruction to the display device to indicate to hide the advertisement selection page displayed on the display, and the advertisement playing module may control the local player to hide the advertisement selection page displayed on the display in response to the input instruction corresponding to the return key, and switch the display area of the currently played advertisement from the first area to the entire display area of the display.
Thus, the flow shown in fig. 5B is completed.
In the above embodiment, the display device can respond to an advertisement selection instruction triggered by a user on the advertisement selection page during the process of playing the advertisement, and play the target advertisement on the display according to the advertisement selection instruction. On the basis, the user can actively select the advertisement played on the display device instead of only passively watching the advertisement played by the display device, so that the advertisement is matched with the advertisement audience to a certain extent, and the advertisement putting effect and the watching experience of the user are improved.
