These applications may be implemented as Web applications that execute based on a WebKit engine, and in particular may be developed and executed based on HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
Here, HTML, which is called HyperText Markup Language (HyperText Markup Language), is a standard Markup Language for creating web pages, and describes the web pages by Markup tags, where the HTML tags are used to describe characters, graphics, animation, sound, tables, links, etc., and a browser reads an HTML document, interprets the content of the tags in the document, and displays the content in the form of web pages.
CSS, known as Cascading Style Sheets (Cascading Style Sheets), is a computer language used to represent the Style of HTML documents, and may be used to define Style structures, such as fonts, colors, locations, etc. The CSS style can be directly stored in the HTML webpage or a separate style file, so that the style in the webpage can be controlled.
JavaScript, a language applied to Web page programming, can be inserted into an HTML page and interpreted and executed by a browser. The interaction logic of the Web application is realized by JavaScript. The JavaScript can package a JavaScript extension interface through a browser, realize the communication with the kernel layer,
the middleware layer may provide some standardized interfaces to support the operation of various environments and systems. For example, the middleware layer may be implemented as multimedia and hypermedia information coding experts group (MHEG) middleware related to data broadcasting, DLNA middleware which is middleware related to communication with an external device, middleware which provides a browser environment in which each application program in the display device operates, and the like.
The kernel layer provides core system services, such as: file management, memory management, process management, network management, system security authority management and the like. The kernel layer may be implemented as a kernel based on various operating systems, for example, a kernel based on the Linux operating system.

It should be noted that, in order to select and execute the play control function (for example, pause play, start play, fast forward play, fast backward play, etc.) required by the web video provided by the display device 200, as shown in fig. 1E, the control device 100 configured to control the display device 200 is implemented as a remote controller, which includes a play key, a pause key, a play pause key, a stop key, a fast backward key, a forward key, etc. for selecting the play control function, so as to prompt the user that the display device 200 can execute the play control function adapted to the corresponding key by operating the key on the control device 100. Here, the control apparatus 100 is not limited to support the remote controller to perform the play control operation on the web video by pressing a key, and may also perform the play control operation on the web video being played by the display device through another operation terminal by using an inter-lan communication mechanism, and only needs the operation terminal to interface with a command supported in a CommandParser (command analysis) module.
Here, the function information corresponding to the above-described playback control function has a mapping relationship with the key information on the control device 100. Specifically, when the display device 200 receives a key event value corresponding to each key on the control apparatus 100, which is input by the user, the display device 200 may perform a function operation corresponding to the key event value based on the mapping relationship, so that the key on the control apparatus 100 can be matched with each play control function visually by the user.
In this way, the user can receive a key event value of a key having a function desired to be executed by the user on the control apparatus 100 by pressing the key, search for and execute a function corresponding to the received key event value from the mapping information, and intuitively execute the desired function in consideration of the correspondence of the key on the control apparatus 100 to the play control function.
Fig. 2A-2E schematically show a GUI400 provided by the display device 200 by operating the control apparatus 100.
As shown in fig. 2A, the display device displays a main page 41 of a web page, which may be a video playing page of a video website, on the display, and the main page 41 of the web page shown in fig. 2A includes a video playing area, a web page option area, and a video detail area. The video playing area comprises a video playing picture, and a progress bar, a pause playing icon and a fast forward icon are arranged at the bottom of the video playing picture. The video playing area of fig. 2A is playing a video frame. In the related art, if a user wants to fast forward or fast rewind a video, the user needs to place a virtual mouse on a progress bar and move the progress bar to realize fast forward or fast rewind. If the user wants to pause or play the video, the user needs to move the virtual mouse to the pause icon and click the pause icon to pause the video. The display positions of the progress bar and the icon size on the webpage main page are small, the expected video playing control operation is achieved by moving the virtual mouse to the progress bar or the icon, and the operation difficulty is large.
In fig. 2A, when the user presses the pause button on the control device, as shown in fig. 2B, the display device directly controls the current video to pause and play in response to the instruction for controlling the current video to pause and play, without moving the virtual mouse to the pause icon or performing the next click operation by the user, so that the pause operation can be realized. And when the current video is paused, a pause playing indication icon is superposed and displayed on the current video picture.
In fig. 2B, when the user presses the play button on the control device, as shown in fig. 2A, the display device directly controls the current video to start playing in response to the instruction for controlling the current video to start playing, which is input by the button, without moving the virtual mouse to the play icon or performing a next click operation by the user, so that the play start operation can be realized. The pause play instruction icon previously displayed on the current video screen disappears while the current video starts to be played.
In fig. 2A, when the user presses the fast forward key on the control device, as shown in fig. 2C, the display device directly controls the current video fast forward play in response to the instruction for controlling the current video fast forward input by the key, and the fast forward play indication icon is displayed superimposed on the current video screen while the fast forward play is being performed. After releasing the fast forward key, as shown in fig. 2C-1, the fast forward play indication icon on the video screen disappears, and the current play progress is fast-forwarded from 10 minutes 50 seconds to 11 minutes 10 seconds.
In fig. 2A, when the user presses the fast-rewind button on the control device, as shown in fig. 2D, the display device responds to the instruction for controlling the fast-rewind of the current video input by the button, directly controls the fast-rewind playing of the current video, and displays a fast-rewind playing indication icon on the current video frame while the fast-rewind playing indication icon is superimposed on the current video frame. After releasing the fast-rewind button, as shown in fig. 2D-1, the fast-rewind play indication icon on the video screen disappears, and the current play progress is fast-backed from 10 minutes 50 seconds to 10 minutes 30 seconds.
In some embodiments, the web page main page 41 may also be a non-video playing page, such as a detail introduction page of a certain video as shown in fig. 2E. The main page of the web page shown in fig. 2E does not include a video frame. In fig. 2E, when the user presses any one of the pause key, the start key, the fast forward key, the fast rewind key, and the like on the control device to select the playback control function, the display device ignores the video playback control command input by the user by pressing the above key because the current home page does not include a video frame.
The video playing control method of the above embodiment implements the logic principle as follows:
when the browser loads a webpage, a JavaScript-based Player Controller module can be injected into the loaded webpage through plug-in mechanisms such as NPAPI/PPAPI and the like, the Player Controller module registers a callback interface to the browser kernel, and receives a message transmitted to the Player Controller module by the bottom layer system through the browser kernel through the callback interface. The function of the Player Controller module is to control the playing of the VIDEO in the web page through the interface of the VIDEO control of the standard HTML 5. The message of interest to the Player Controller module may be play, pause, play pause, stop, rewind, forward, etc.
As shown in fig. 3A, the browser web page loads and initializes the logic diagram of the Player Controller module, when the browser is started, the browser starts the module to load the web page, and then the browser parsing module parses the loaded web page and loads the Player Controller module. And after the webpage is analyzed, rendering the webpage by the browser rendering module, and displaying the webpage after rendering. Meanwhile, the Player Controller module recalls the registration message to the browser message processing module.
The video playing control method shown in fig. 3B is a schematic diagram of the logic principle. The key receiving module acquires a video playing pause control instruction which is input by a user through pressing a play pause key on the control device and corresponds to the play pause key, and sends the video playing pause control instruction to the command analysis module. Here, since the key receiving module may receive different play control commands, the key receiving module includes: at least one of a play instruction, a pause instruction, a play pause instruction, a stop instruction, a rewind instruction, and a fast forward instruction. The command analysis module may analyze the instructions to generate corresponding messages.
With the above embodiment, the command analysis module analyzes the video pause control command and converts the video pause control command into a play pause message. And sends the play pause message to the browser message processing module, and finally calls back to the Player Controller module. Specifically, a message interface is received through the browser, and a play pause message is sent to the browser kernel. And the PlayERController module acquires the play pause message through a callback interface of the browser kernel. And the Player Controller module controls the playing of the video element in the current webpage according to the play pause message.
Here, the control device sets the play pause function on the same key, and the Player Controller module acquires a play pause message. The playauxe message needs to be analyzed according to the state of the video element in the current webpage, and then the corresponding broadcast control operation is performed on the video element. And if the video element in the current webpage is in the playing state, the Player Controller module controls the video element in the current webpage to pause playing according to the play pause message. And if the video element in the current webpage is in a pause playing state, the Player Controller module controls the video element in the current webpage to play according to the play pause message.
Fig. 3C is a schematic diagram of a logic principle of another video playing control method. The key receiving module acquires a video playing fast forward control instruction corresponding to a Forwards key which is input by a user through pressing the Forwards key on the control device, and sends the video playing fast forward control instruction to the command analysis module. And the command analysis module analyzes the video fast forward control command and converts the video fast forward control command into a Forwards message. And Forwards messages are sent to the browser message processing module, and finally the messages are called back to the Player Controller module. Specifically, a message interface is received through the browser, and a Forwards message is sent to the browser kernel. The Player Controller module obtains Forwards messages through a callback interface of the browser kernel. The Player Controller module controls fast forwarding of the video element in the current web page according to the Forwards message.
In some embodiments, when the browser fills the Player Controller module, the Player Controller module is initialized and obtains the video tag in the non-hidden state in the current webpage. And if the video label in the non-hidden state exists in the current webpage, storing the video element corresponding to the video label to the Player Controller module. If the current webpage does not have the video label in the non-hidden state, the Player Controller module is acquired to be null. When the Player Controller module obtains the play pause message, it first determines whether the Player Controller module stores a video element. And if the video element is stored in the Player Controller module, controlling the video element to pause playing. If no video element is stored in the Player Controller module, the processing of the pause message is skipped. If the video element is not stored in the Player Controller module, it indicates that the current web page does not have any action related to video playing, for example, the web page with plain text does not have a video frame.
Here, since the content contained in the web page may change over time (for example, the current web page does not have an action related to video playing at a certain time, and an action related to video playing occurs after the user refreshes the web page), the Player Controller module needs to retrieve a video tag in a non-hidden state in the current web page each time the user presses a key related to video playing control on the control device.
In the above embodiment, a video playing control instruction corresponding to a key input by a user by pressing the key on the control device is obtained, and the playing of the video element in the current webpage is controlled according to the video playing control instruction. When the user needs to control the video playing in the webpage, the focus does not need to be moved to the control. The expected video playing control effect can be achieved only by pressing the corresponding video playing control key on the control device, the operation is simple, and the user experience degree of the video playing control is improved.
Fig. 4A-4B illustrate a flow chart of a video playback control method.
Referring to the method of FIG. 4A, the method includes the following steps S51-S54:
step S51: displaying a webpage on a display, wherein the webpage comprises a plurality of webpage controls;
step S52: receiving the input of a user by pressing a key on the control device; for example, as shown in fig. 1E, the control device 100 configured to control the display apparatus 200 is implemented as a remote controller including a pause key, a start key, a fast forward key, a fast rewind key, and the like for selecting a play control function. For example, in fig. 2A, when the user presses the pause key on the control device, an instruction for pausing the playing of the video corresponding to the pause key, which is input by the user by pressing the pause key on the control device, is obtained.
Step S53: when the key input is recognized as an instruction for indicating a selector to select a first broadcast control in a plurality of webpage controls, executing a first operation corresponding to the first broadcast control; the first broadcast control is used for indicating and controlling webpage video broadcast control;
step S54: and when the key input is identified as indicating to execute a first operation, if the webpage page is determined to contain the webpage video, executing the first operation for controlling the webpage video playing control.
With the above embodiment, as shown in fig. 2B, the display device responds to the instruction for controlling the current video to pause playing, which is input by the key, to directly control the current video to pause playing, and the pause operation can be realized without moving the virtual mouse to the pause icon or performing the next click operation by the user. And when the current video is paused, a pause playing indication icon is superposed and displayed on the current video picture.
In connection with the method of fig. 4B, the method comprises the steps of:
s61: displaying a webpage on a display, wherein the webpage comprises a plurality of webpage controls;
s62: receiving the input of a user by pressing a key on the control device; for example, as shown in fig.
S63: identifying a command corresponding to the key input;
s64: and when the key input is identified as indicating to execute an operation, if the webpage page is determined to contain the webpage video and the current state of the webpage video is determined, executing a target operation which is used for controlling the webpage video playing control and is different from the current state.
For example, the video playing control method shown in fig. 3B implements a logic principle diagram. The key receiving module acquires a video playing pause control instruction which is input by a user through pressing a play pause key on the control device and corresponds to the play pause key, and sends the video playing pause control instruction to the command analysis module. And the command analysis module analyzes the video pause control command and converts the video pause control command into a play pause message. And sends the play pause message to the browser message processing module, and finally calls back to the Player Controller module. Specifically, the browser receives a message interface, and sends a playauxe message to a browser kernel. The Player Controller module acquires the play pause message through a callback interface of the browser kernel.
In some embodiments, if it is determined that the web page includes the web video and the web video is in a playing state when the key input is recognized as indicating to perform the fast forward operation, the fast forward of the web video may be controlled according to the fast forward instruction. If the webpage page is determined to contain the webpage video and the webpage video is determined to be in the playing state when the key input is identified as the instruction for executing the backward operation, the webpage video can be controlled to backward according to the fast forward instruction.
