Abstract

Description
Technical Field

Background
For an aircraft engine pump shell cast from aluminum alloy, the matching surface of an inner hole of the aircraft engine pump shell is prone to causing size out-of-tolerance due to fretting wear, and parts are scrapped. Meanwhile, the repair thickness is large (about 1mm) due to the thin wall thickness, and the repair difficulty is large due to the fact that the inner diameter of the part to be repaired is usually small (about 40mm) and the depth is large (greater than 20 mm). The conventional argon arc welding repair mode is adopted, and the argon arc welding cannot meet the size requirement due to large heat input and serious deformation in the welding process. The cold spraying repair process is suitable for aluminum alloy, but the existing high-pressure cold spraying equipment cannot repair due to the limitation of the overall dimension of a spray gun, and the mechanical property of a low-pressure cold spraying repair layer of the equipment cannot meet the requirement.
