Description

Feed additive for improving ewe production and lamb growth performance
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of breeding, in particular to a feed additive for improving the production of ewes and the growth performance of lambs.
Background
At present, along with the increase of people to mutton product demand and for economic interests's maximize, goat raising turns to the captive breeding by grazing gradually, but captive breeding goat has appeared that the lambing rate is low, the survival rate is low, fecundity such as birth weight is little is low, including the unreasonable destruction to the intestinal of weaning stress and nutrition, intestines fine hair atrophy, the microecology destroys, immunity is low, then can directly bring the lamb to draw thin, thin and die, has hindered the development of the sheep industry. Therefore, with the intensive development of the goat breeding industry, the increase of the stock of basic ewes, the improvement of the fecundity and the lactation capacity of the ewes, the improvement of the survival rate of the lambs and the acceleration of the slaughtering period of the lambs are production targets for realizing the high-efficiency breeding of the ewes and the lambs, and are key points of the development of the goat breeding industry. The important point is to ensure the health of the ewe body and promote the lactation of the ewe. The mother body is the basis of all lambs and the guarantee for improving economic sources for farmers, and the strong mother body is the strong baby body. The concept of mother-child integration proposed by a pig farm is also matched.
The concept of "maternal-maternal integration" has been proposed in the pig farm for a long time, and is a systematic engineering around the interrelationship between sows and piglets, based on the specific physiological phase of the sows and piglets. The method has the advantages that the integrated fine management of the sows and the piglets in the pig farm is well done, the production index of the pig farm can be obviously improved, and the pig raising benefit is improved. For example, patent application No. 201611079466.0 discloses a maternal-maternal integrated nutrition regimen that includes four phases, ranging from sow feeding to piglet feeding to large nursery pigs, feeding different formula feeds. The concept is introduced into the feeding of ewes, and the same is true. The difference of the invention is that the feed additive is provided, and the production performance of ewes is improved by feeding pregnant ewes, so that the growth performance of lambs is improved.
For example, in the document with the patent application number of CN201611083423, disclosed is a feed additive for improving the reproductive performance of goat ewes, which is prepared from herba leonuri, rhizoma ligustici wallichii, rhizoma atractylodis macrocephalae, radix astragali, rhizoma dioscoreae, cortex eucommiae, rhizoma cyperi, radix acanthopanacis, fructus cnidii, root bark of toona sinensis, radix dipsaci, indigo naturalis, eggshell powder, compound vitamins, compound probiotic preparation, and compound trace elements as raw materials, Chinese herbal medicines are used for regulating the metabolic function of the body, promoting the development of ovaries and uteri, maintaining the normal oestrus cycle, and creating good conditions for fertilization and successful implantation of embryos. However, the patent only improves the reproductive performance of the mother body and does not relate to the growth performance of the lambs. Therefore, in order to reduce the loss of ewes due to production performance, farmers need to feed the ewes reasonably in addition to selecting excellent ewes, strengthening management and well performing epidemic prevention.

Table 1 influence of different dosages of the product on different biochemical indexes of ewes at different periods
Figure BDA0002534158660000061
Figure BDA0002534158660000071
Note: data in the same column showed significant differences (p < 0.5) and data in the same column showed very significant differences (p < 0.01).
As can be seen from Table 1, the physiological indexes of the ewes of different groups have no significant difference before the ewes are pregnant for 120d and formally tested. After the test, the total serum protein, albumin and globulin of the ewes tend to increase along with the increase of the additive dosage, and compared with the control group, the total protein measured in the lactation 30d and the lactation 60d has very obvious difference between the medium-dose group and the high-dose group, and the low-dose group. Compared with the control group, the albumin of the ewes has no significant difference among the groups; compared with the control groups, the medium-dose group has obvious difference, the total serum protein, albumin and globulin contents reflect the protein synthesis capacity of the liver, and the increase of the total serum protein, albumin and globulin is beneficial to improving the metabolic level and the immune function. The serum level of alkaline phosphatase in ewes increased with the increase of the dosage, and compared with the control group, the difference of the three dosage groups in the delivery period is obvious, which indicates that the added product provides high fat content.
Referring to fig. 1, it can be seen that the influence of different dose groups on the diarrhea rate of lambs, according to the diarrhea rate/% (∑ diarrhea lambs × number of disease days) ]/(total number of lambs × total number of test days) × 100, the lambs produced by the ewes of the medium dose group had the lowest diarrhea rate (4.6%) within 0-60d of birth, the highest diarrhea rate (18.3%) of the control group, and the diarrhea rates of the low dose group and the high dose group were 12.4% and 7.2%, respectively. The addition of the product of the invention can reduce the diarrhea rate of lambs.
TABLE 2 Effect of different dose groups on the body conditions of newborn lambs
Group of Body weight (kg) Height (cm) Body length (cm) Chest circumference (cm)

Control group 2.04±0.27 25.32±5.06 26.39±4.31 29.48±3.46
Note: data in the same column showed significant differences (p < 0.5) and data in the same column showed very significant differences (p < 0.01).
As can be seen from Table 2, the weight, height, length and chest circumference of the lambs in the three dose groups all showed an upward trend, the weight average of the lambs in the middle dose group and the high dose group was higher than that in the control group and the low dose group, and the chest circumference of the lambs in the high dose group was significantly higher than that in the control group. Therefore, the product of the invention is beneficial to the growth and development of the lambs in the later embryonic period when the ewes are fed in the later gestation period. The weight and body size indexes of the newborn lambs are good, so that the growth and development of the lambs in the later period are facilitated, and the breeding benefit is improved.
