Abstract

技术领域
本发明涉及一种根据权利要求1的前序部分所述类型的用于机动车的车轮支承装置的密封装置。
背景技术
众所周知,机动车的车轮支承件通常配设有密封装置,该密封装置在车轮支承装置的固定部件和车轮支承装置的旋转部件之间起作用,并且通常包括具有密封唇的密封体,该密封体布置在车轮支承装置的固定部件上,而密封唇贴靠在形成在车轮支承装置的旋转部件上的密封面上。仅作为示例参考文献DE 101 32 429 A1。
根据车轮支承装置的设计,密封体的密封唇可以要么直接贴靠或围绕轮毂工作,要么贴靠或围绕不锈钢离心板工作。在此保持密封作用的前提条件是,密封唇所贴靠或围绕工作的密封面具有很高的、基本限定的表面质量,以防止所谓的输送作用,即水进入密封唇下方。如果密封唇直接围绕轮毂工作,则意味着必然在此区域中对轮毂进行相应的处理或磨削,以确保达到要求的表面质量。事实证明这是不利的,因为为此所需的磨削过程会导致额外的成本,并且由此无法自由选择几何形状,这是因为必须将砂轮径向向内引导至车轮支承件转动轴线。密封唇围绕不锈钢离心板工作的变型也被证明是不利的,这是因为为了将不锈钢离心板固定在轮毂上通常需要抛光的、长的、圆柱形的压配合,这在制造中也是成本高的。该变型的另外的缺点在于,离心板在轴向和径向上都需要相对大的构造空间,并且可能在静态压配合时发生底层腐蚀。
发明内容
本发明的目的是,如此改进根据在权利要求1的前序部分中所述的类型的用于机动车的车轮支承装置的密封装置,使得以低成本和小的构造空间需求确保非常好的密封性能。
该目的通过权利要求1的特征部分的特征结合其前序部分特征来实现。
从属权利要求构成本发明的有利的改进方案。
以已知的方式,用于机动车的车轮支承装置的密封装置包括具有密封唇的密封体,该密封体布置在车轮支承装置的固定部件上,密封体的密封唇对准车轮支承装置的旋转部件并且与车轮支承装置的旋转部件上的密封面滑动接触。
根据本发明,在密封面上施加膜,然后使密封唇与该膜滑动接触或在该膜上工作。
在下文中,术语“膜”一般被理解为层厚≤0.3mm的薄材料层。
根据本发明的实施方式的优点在于,现在可以通过适当选择膜或膜的表面质量来以简单的方式对密封面的表面进行摩擦优化的调整。根据本发明的实施方式的另一优点在于,由于对于离心盘不需要研磨过程或圆柱形的配合,因此确保了明显成本更有利的生产,并且所需的构造空间明显更小(=>在轴向和径向上无浪费的离心板构造空间)。
该膜优选为薄层的,其层厚度≤0.2mm、优选≤0.1mm。
该膜优选材料结合地、特别是借助于粘接和/或力锁合地、例如借助于热压配合与密封面连接。由此,有利地确保了将膜廉价且快速实施地固定在密封面上。
根据本发明的一个特别有利的实施方式,膜由塑料、低腐蚀的金属或复合材料制成。除了高耐腐蚀性之外,由此还特别是确保了膜的良好可变形性。再者有利的是,由于上述构造,膜是低磨损的,因此保证了长的使用寿命。
本发明的另一优选的实施形式提出,膜具有表面粗糙度为Rz<10μm的表面质量。这具有有利的效果,即可以将低磨损和良好的摩擦性能结合在一起。
车轮支承装置的固定部件优选是滚动轴承的固定的轴承环,而车轮支承装置的具有密封面的旋转部件是轮毂。
一个特别紧凑且节省空间的实施方式的特征在于,轮毂中加工有沿轴向方向延伸的、环绕的槽,该槽的底面或槽底部形成具有膜的密封面。

图1示出了整体以附图标记10表示的机动车的车轮支承装置。轮毂12以已知的方式通过滚动轴承14可转动地被支承。轮毂12本身与万向轴18传动连接。
如图1和图2所示,在车轮支承装置10的旋转部件(在此是轮毂12)和车轮支承装置10的固定部件(在此是滚动轴承14的固定的轴承环14-1)之间布置有整体以附图标记100表示的密封装置。
密封装置100包括由弹性体形成的密封体110,该密封体支承在滚动轴承14的固定的轴承环14-1上并具有两个密封唇112。如特别是从图2中可看到,密封唇112在预加载的情况下贴靠在由不锈钢制成的离心板114上,该离心板布置在轮毂12的槽20中并与轮毂12以不能相对转动的方式固定。就是说,密封唇112与形成在离心板上的旋转密封面116滑动接触。
现有技术的缺点特别是,由于离心板114,密封装置100的制造(离心板的安装)昂贵,并且离心板114在轴向a和径向r上需要相对大的构造空间。
在此引入本发明:
如图3所示,轮毂12中的槽20的槽底部20-1设有膜118。就是说,密封唇112与形成旋转密封面116的膜118滑动接触。在此,膜118是由复合材料制成的膜,其层厚<0.2mm,该膜借助于粘接并由此特别成本有利地被固定在轮毂12的槽20的槽底部20-1。
借助于膜118现在可以有利地以简单的方式实现对于最佳的密封作用所需的、对密封元件即密封唇112和密封面116的摩擦优化的调整。
出于完整性原因,要指出的是,现在槽20可在轴向方向a和径向方向r上都显著变小,从而根据本发明的密封装置100也仅需要显著较小的构造空间。

Claims (5)

1.一种用于机动车的车轮支承装置(10)的密封装置(100),该密封装置包括带有多个密封唇(112)的密封体(110),其中,密封体(110)布置在车轮支承装置(10)的固定部件上,至少一个密封唇(112)贴靠在车轮支承装置(10)的旋转部件的密封面(116)上,
其特征在于,
在密封面(116)上施加有膜(118),
膜(118)借助于粘接和/或力锁合地与密封面(116)连接,
车轮支承装置(10)的固定部件是滚动轴承(14)的固定的轴承环(14-1),车轮支承装置(10)的具有密封面(116)的旋转部件是轮毂(12),轮毂(12)具有环绕的槽(20),该槽包括沿轴向方向(a)延伸的凹部,该凹部的底部形成密封面(116)。
2.根据权利要求1所述的密封装置(100),其特征在于,膜(118)的层厚度(d)≤0.3mm。
