Abstract

一种小区配置装置及方法。通过从源侧的网络设备接收候选小区的配置信息,当候选小区满足进行条件切换的条件时,根据该配置信息进行目标主小区和目标辅小区的配置;或者,在切换完成的时刻或之后向目标侧的网络设备发送质量最好小区的信息或质量最好小区的信息的指示,并从该第二网络设备接收目标辅小区的配置信息并根据该配置信息进行目标辅小区的配置。从而,能够在条件切换中对于UE可以具有多个服务小区的情况,有效的进行包括目标辅小区在内的小区配置,因此目标辅小区在切换过程中能够尽快的被配置给用户设备,减少了对用户设备在切换过程中的数据传输速率的影响,提升了用户体验。
