the working principle is as follows: the method comprises the steps that waste water is discharged into a sedimentation tank (1) to be subjected to sedimentation treatment, floating garbage in the waste water floats on the water surface, when the waste water in the sedimentation tank (1) is excessive, upper clear water is discharged into a collecting tank (2-1) from a feed inlet (2-2), the floating garbage on the water surface is driven to enter the collecting tank (2-1), when the water level in the collecting tank (2-1) is level with the water level in the sedimentation tank (1), a water pump (2-4) is started, the water pump (2-4) pumps water in the collecting tank (2-1) out of a water pumping well (2-3) and sends the water into the sedimentation tank (1), so that upper laminated water in the sedimentation tank (1) drives the floating garbage to enter the collecting tank (2-1), when the garbage in the collecting tank (2-1) is full, a motor is started, the motor drives a threaded rod (2-7) to rotate, the threaded rod (2-7) drives the push plate (2-6) to move forwards, after the push plate (2-6) passes over the feed port (2-2), pushing accumulated water and garbage in the collecting tank (2-1) to overflow from the discharge port (2-9) and flow into the pressing tank (3-1), wherein the accumulated water in the pressing tank (3-1) flows into the reservoir (3-5) through the drain pipe (3-4), and the garbage is left in the pressing tank (3-1), when the push plate (2-6) moves to the foremost end of the collecting tank (2-1), the motor is controlled to rotate reversely to drive the push plate (2-6) to retreat to the rear of the feeding port (2-2), and then the floating garbage can be continuously collected in the collecting tank (2-1), the garbage can be moved into the pressing box (3-1) through the push plate (2-6) again; when the garbage in the pressing box (3-1) is full, the electric push rod (3-10) is started, the electric push rod (3-10) drives the pressing plate (3-9) to move downwards to compact the garbage in the pressing box (3-1), then the door plate (3-3) is opened, and the garbage compacted in the pressing box (3-1) is taken out.
