The embodiment of the invention provides a spliced screen. The following are detailed below.
Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a spliced screen according to an embodiment of the present invention; fig. 2 is a schematic effect diagram of a spliced screen according to an embodiment of the present invention; fig. 3 is a schematic view of a display panel of a tiled display screen according to an embodiment of the present invention.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a tiled screen, as shown in fig. 1, the tiled screen includes:
at least two display panels 10 horizontally spliced with each other, wherein each display panel 10 comprises a display area 11 and a non-display area 12, and the non-display areas 12 of the at least two horizontally spliced display panels 10 form at least one splice 13;
at least one light guide plate 20, wherein the at least one light guide plate 20 is correspondingly arranged at the at least one seam 13 and covers the at least one seam 13; the light guide plate 20 is connected to two adjacent non-display areas 12;
and at least one backlight module 30, wherein the at least one backlight module 30 is disposed below each display panel 0, and the backlight module 30 is used for providing a light source for the display panel 10 and the light guide plate 20.
In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 1 and fig. 2, a tiled screen formed by horizontally tiling two display panels 10 is taken as an example: two display panel 10 all include display area 11 and non-display area 12, and two display panel 10's non-display area 12 forms piece 13, corresponds at piece 13 and sets up a light guide plate 20, realizes the conduction of light through light guide plate 20, promptly: the light guide plate 20 adjacent to the display area 11 in the spliced screen changes along with the change of the picture display color of the display area 11, and black splicing seams are eliminated by the conduction of light emitted by the display panel 10 and the backlight module 30 at the splicing seams 13 in the light guide plate 20, so that the full-view seamless splicing effect of the black area at the splicing seams 13 of the spliced screen is realized.
Specifically, the method comprises the following steps: when the display panel 10 emits light, the light of the display region 11 enters the light guide plate 20 and travels on the light guide plate 20. Since there are many light guide points on the light guide plate 20, when light is incident on each light guide point, the reflected light is diffused at each angle and then emitted from the front surface of the light guide plate 20. The light guide plate 20 can uniformly emit light through various light guide points with different densities and sizes, so that the light enters eyes of an observer. Therefore, the light rays are emitted from the positions corresponding to the splicing seams 13, the splicing seams 13 originally felt by the user disappear visually by the user, and the user feels that the whole splicing display device is spliced seamlessly, so that full-screen seamless splicing display of the spliced screen is realized.
Further, as can be seen from the display effect diagram in fig. 2, in the embodiment of the present invention, by arranging the light guide plate 20 to realize light conduction, it is possible to display a mixed light picture at the joints 13 of the tiled screen, eliminate the black regions of the joints 13, and realize the full-view seamless tiled effect of the tiled screen.
The working principle of the embodiment of the application is as follows: the light guide plate 20 is arranged at the seam 13 formed by the non-display areas 12 of the two adjacent display panels 10, the light guide plate 20 adjacent to the display area 11 changes along with the change of the picture display color of the display area 11, and the black seam 13 is eliminated under the combined action of the light emitted by the display panels 10, the light guide plate 20 and the backlight module 30, so that the full-view seamless splicing effect of the black area at the seam 13 of the spliced screen is realized.
In some embodiments of the present application, the light guide plate 20 and the two adjacent non-display regions 12 are bonded by the optical glue 40.
Specifically, the optical adhesive 40 may be an OCA (optical Clear adhesive) optical adhesive, which is a double-sided adhesive with a special layer of optically transparent non-substrate. In particular, OCA optical glues are used as specialty adhesives for bonding transparent optical elements (e.g., lenses, etc.). It has the characteristics of colorless transparency, light transmittance of more than 90 percent, good cementing strength, capability of being cured at room temperature or middle temperature, small curing shrinkage and the like. The OCA optical adhesive is one of the important raw materials of the touch screen, and is prepared by manufacturing an optical acrylic adhesive into a non-base material, and then respectively attaching a layer of release film to an upper bottom layer and a lower bottom layer.
The embodiment of the application realizes the bonding of light guide plate 20 and display panel 10 through OCA optical cement, and the bonding is firm, and does not influence the display effect of display panel 10 because of its colorless transparent characteristics.
It should be understood that the optical glue 40 may be an optical glue having the same properties as the OCA optical glue, for example, SCA optical glue, and is not limited thereto.
Further, in some embodiments of the present application, to accommodate the structure of the tiled screen, the cross-section of the light guide plate 20 may be "i" shaped, as shown in fig. 1, and specifically, the light guide plate 20 includes:
a top plate 21, wherein the bottom of the top plate 21 is adhered to the tops of the non-display areas 12 of the two adjacent display panels 10;
a bottom plate 22, the top of the bottom plate 22 is adhered to the bottom of the non-display area 12 of the two adjacent display panels 10;
and the top of the connecting plate 23 is fixedly connected to the bottom of the top plate 21, the bottom of the connecting plate 23 is fixedly connected to the top of the bottom plate 22, and two side edges of the connecting plate 23 are respectively bonded to the side edges of the non-display areas 12 of the two adjacent display panels 10.
Further, as can be seen from fig. 1: the top plate 21 extends to two adjacent non-display areas 12, and the extension length of the top plate 21 is slightly greater than the length of the non-display area 12, so that the light guide plate 20 adjacent to the display area 11 changes with the change of the picture display color of the display area 11, as can be seen in detail in conjunction with fig. 2: if one of the display panels 10 displays an R picture and the other display panel 10 displays a B picture, the light guide plate 20 with a certain width adjacent to the display panel 10 displaying the R picture displays an R picture, and the light guide plate 20 with a certain width adjacent to the display panel 10 displaying the B picture displays a B picture; the joint 13 displays the mixed light picture under the combined action of the backlight module 30, the display picture 10 and the light guide plate 20, so that the full-view seamless display of the spliced screen is realized.
In some embodiments of the present application, the tiled display screen includes a backlight module 30, and the length of the backlight module 30 is greater than the sum of the lengths of the display panels 10. The backlight module 30 is arranged to have a large size, uniform light emission and easy breakage, so that the requirement on the process is high, and the screen size of the integrally processed backlight module 30 is limited to a certain extent and is only suitable for the spliced products with fixed sizes.
In order to solve the technical problems of high process requirements, low applicability and the like in the case of setting one backlight module 30, in some other embodiments of the present application, the tiled screen includes at least two backlight modules 30, and the sum of the lengths of the at least two backlight modules 30 is greater than the sum of the lengths of the display panels 10. The at least two backlight modules 30 are used, the process requirement is low, the cost is low, but a certain gap exists between the adjacent backlight modules 30, compared with the one-block type backlight module 30, the visual effect is worse than that of the one-block type backlight module 30, the two modules have respective advantages and disadvantages, and the customization can be carried out according to the actual situation.
It should be understood that, if the backlight module 30 is formed by splicing at least two backlight modules 30, it is sufficient that the joint of two adjacent backlight modules 30 does not correspond to the splice 13. The technical problems that the display effect of the spliced screen is poor and the user experience is not high due to the fact that the joints 13 cannot be eliminated as no light exists at the joints of the backlight module 30 are avoided.
In some embodiments of the present application, there is a certain distance between the lower surface of the display panel 10 and the upper surface of the backlight module 30, and the setting of the distance can be adjusted according to the visual effect of the spliced screen, preferably, the distance is 0.05mm to 5mm, and the visual effect of the spliced screen is better within the range of the distance.
In some embodiments of the present application, as shown in fig. 3, the display panel 10 includes: an upper substrate 14, a lower substrate 15, and a display layer 16 between the upper substrate 14 and the lower substrate 15, wherein the upper substrate 14 and the lower substrate 15 are connected to a light guide plate 20. Specifically, the upper substrate 14 and the lower substrate 15 are both glass substrates.
In some embodiments of the present application, the display panel 10 is a liquid crystal display panel, a plasma display panel, a Light Emitting Diode (LED) display panel, or an Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) display panel.
In some embodiments of the present application, the backlight assembly 30 may be an LCD-owned backlight assembly; can be an LED square lamp bead array; or an LED round lamp bead array; or LED bar array; or a lensed LED light source array; or a non-LED type array of lamp beads. In addition, the backlight light source can be designed through light distribution, and can provide illumination light sources with approximately the same brightness at various angles for the liquid crystal panel, and the types of the backlight light sources are all within the protection scope of the invention patent. The backlight module 30 is used for providing illumination with a certain brightness for the display panel 10 and the seams 13.
