[ detailed description ] of the invention
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
The terminology used in the embodiments of the application is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the application. As used in this application and the appended claims, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
It should be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein is merely one relationship describing the association of the associated objects, meaning that there may be three relationships, e.g., a and/or B, may represent: a exists alone, A and B exist together, and B exists alone. In addition, the character "/" herein generally indicates that the front and rear associated objects are an "or" relationship.
Depending on the context, the word "if" as used herein may be interpreted as "at … …" or "at … …" or "in response to a determination" or "in response to detection". Similarly, the phrase "if determined" or "if detected (stated condition or event)" may be interpreted as "when determined" or "in response to a determination" or "when detected (stated condition or event)" or "in response to a detection (stated condition or event), depending on the context.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for optimizing application program update according to an embodiment of the present application, where, as shown in fig. 1, the method is performed in a user equipment, and includes:
after the user device detects that the application needs to be updated, the update resource package is downloaded 101.
In this step, the user first opens an application program in the user device, and then downloads the update resource package after detecting that the application program needs to be updated. The update resource package downloaded in this step is used to update a version of an application program, and the application program may be a game application program, or may be various application programs with resource package update requirements, such as a social communication application program, a video picture application program, a professional tool application program, and the like.
Specifically, when the user equipment in this step downloads the update resource package after detecting that the application program needs to be updated, the following manner may be adopted: the user equipment sends an update query request to a server, wherein the sent update query request comprises a current version of an application program; after receiving a query result that an application program needs to be updated, acquiring the average downloading speed of a user equipment network, and sending a downloading request for updating a resource package to a server side; and receiving the updated resource packet data sent by the server side.
After receiving an update query request sent by the user equipment, the server compares the current version with the latest version of the application program, and if the current version and the latest version are different, a query result needing to be updated is returned to the user equipment, wherein the query result can also contain the size of an update resource package; and after receiving the downloading request sent by the user equipment, sending updated resource packet data to the user equipment.
It can be understood that the server side in this step may be the server side corresponding to the current application program, that is, the server side is only responsible for updating the current application program; the server side corresponding to the plurality of application programs, that is, the server side is responsible for updating the plurality of application programs, may also be used.
In addition, in one implementation manner of the present application, in the process of downloading the update resource package, if it is detected that the user closes or minimizes the application program, that is, the application program is not in the foreground, the downloading of the update resource package is paused until the user reenters the application program, and then the downloading of the update resource package is continued.
In 102, obtaining a target material matched with the update resource package and presenting the target material on an update interface, wherein the update interface appears in the downloading process of the update resource package.
In the step, after the update resource package is downloaded from the server, the target material matched with the update resource package is firstly obtained, and then the obtained target material is presented on the current update interface of the user equipment until the update resource package is downloaded and installed. The target material can be acquired from a server corresponding to the current application program, the target material can be acquired from other server, and the target material matched with the updated resource package can be acquired from the material locally stored in the user equipment; in addition, the target material presented on the update interface may be manipulated by the user.
In addition, before the target material matched with the update resource package is acquired and presented on the update interface, the following contents can be further included: acquiring downloading information of an update resource package, wherein the downloading information comprises the size of the update resource package, the expected downloading time of the update resource package and network performance parameters corresponding to user equipment, such as network bandwidth, network speed and the like corresponding to the user equipment; and determining whether the acquired download information meets preset conditions, if so, continuing to execute the operation of acquiring the target material matched with the update resource package to present on the update interface, otherwise, directly downloading the update resource package without executing the operation.
When determining whether the download information meets the preset condition, the step can determine whether the size of the update resource packet is larger than a first preset threshold, determine whether the expected download time of the update resource packet is larger than a second preset threshold, and determine whether the network performance parameter corresponding to the user equipment is smaller than a third preset threshold.
That is, in one implementation manner of the present application, it can be determined whether there are situations such as a larger update resource packet, a longer expected download time of the update resource packet, or a worse network of the user device, if so, the target material is presented, and compared with situations such as a smaller update resource packet or a larger download speed, the target material is presented under the former situation, the waiting time of downloading the update resource packet that can be utilized is more sufficient, so that the accuracy of presenting the target material is improved, the optimization experience brought to the user by the effective utilization of the resource is more obvious, and meanwhile, the distinction of whether to present is performed, so that the waste of computing resources caused by unnecessary acquisition of the target material can be avoided.
It may be understood that the target material acquired in this step and matched with the update resource package may include at least one of application related information matched with the update resource package and a presentation program matched with the update resource package, that is, the target material acquired in this step corresponds to the update resource package downloaded in this time. By the method and the device, a user can be helped to directly browse the application related information matched with the updated resource package or directly operate the display program matched with the updated resource package under the condition that the current updated interface is not jumped out; meanwhile, the downloading of the update resource package is not affected.
Taking the application program as a game application as an example, the application related information matched with the update resource package in the step includes but is not limited to: update package descriptions, including update content descriptions, update function descriptions, etc., such as update descriptions or function descriptions of games; application-related activity announcements, such as activity announcements of games; other application related information such as game play, user sharing, etc.; the display program matched with the updated resource package in the step can be a small game matched with the updated resource package, such as 2048, greedy snake, flying shooting and the like, which occupy less memory. Taking the application program as a professional tool application program, for example, a professional video processing application, wherein the application related information matched with the updated resource package in the step comprises, but is not limited to, introduction of an updating function and a function demonstration video; the presentation program matched with the updated resource package in the step can be a course interactive program for updating the new functions in the resource package, and the function teaching is realized by guiding the user operation.
In order to enable the acquired target material to more accurately correspond to the application program, when the target material matched with the update resource package is acquired and performed on the update interface, the following manner may be adopted: determining an application identification of the application program, such as an application type, an application name and the like; acquiring a material corresponding to the application identifier as a target material matched with the updated resource package, namely, the target material acquired in the step corresponds to the application program; and presenting the target material on the update interface. The material of the corresponding application identifier obtained in this step may be information corresponding to the application type, a policy corresponding to the application name, etc. In one implementation, the material corresponding to the application identifier may be related content update based on the difference of the update resource packages downloaded each time, that is, the obtained target material matches the current update resource package of the application program.
In order to obtain different target materials for presentation according to the downloading condition of the update resource package, thereby improving the flexibility when presenting the target materials on the update interface, the following method can be adopted when obtaining the target materials matched with the update resource package for presentation on the update interface: acquiring downloading information of an update resource package, such as the size of the update resource package, the expected downloading time and the like; acquiring a material corresponding to the downloaded information as a target material matched with the updated resource package; and presenting the target material on the update interface.
For example, this step may present a presentation program, such as a mini-game, to the user when the update package is large or the expected download time of the update package is long, so that the user has enough time to operate; when the updated resource package is smaller or the expected downloading time of the updated resource package is shorter, the step can present information, strategies and other contents to the user, so that the user can browse quickly.
In order to ensure that the target material has a good presentation effect on the update interface, the step may further include the following when the target material is presented on the update interface: acquiring the downloading information of the updated resource package; setting presentation parameters of the target materials, such as presentation time of different materials, switching frequency among a plurality of materials, switching modes among a plurality of materials and the like, according to the acquired download information; and presenting the target material on the update interface based on the set presentation parameters.
For example, in this step, when the update resource package is larger or the expected download time of the update resource package is longer, a plurality of target materials are presented on the update interface, and the set presentation parameters may be that the switching frequency between the materials is slower, or different types of target materials have different presentation times, etc.; and secondly, when the updated resource package is smaller or the expected downloading time of the updated resource package is shorter, a plurality of target materials are presented on the updated interface, and the set presentation parameters can be that the switching frequency among the materials is faster, or different types of target materials have the same presentation time and the like.
It can be understood that when the target material matched with the update resource package is presented on the update interface, the target material can be directly presented in the preset area of the current interface. The following may also be employed: creating a floating layer at the upper layer of the update interface; and presenting the target material matched with the updated resource package on the created floating layer.
The floating layer created in the step is located at a preset position of the update interface, for example, may be located right above the update interface; the floating layer may also be located at a corner of the update interface so as not to affect other contents of the update interface.
In order to enable the user to clearly understand the downloading situation of the update resource package, when the target material matched with the update resource package is presented on the update interface, the downloading progress of the update resource package can be displayed on the update interface, for example, the downloading progress can be displayed in a progress bar mode, the downloading speed and the size of the update resource package can be displayed at the same time, and the downloading progress can be reminded in a message reminding mode, for example, in a voice mode, a video animation mode and the like, wherein the mode of displaying the downloading progress of the update resource package is not limited by the foregoing examples. .
In addition, because the target material presented in the step can be the application related information matched with the updated resource package, in order to avoid repeatedly displaying the application related information matched with the updated resource package in the updated application interface, the step can further comprise the following contents: marking application related information which is presented on the update interface and matched with the update resource package; and continuing to present the unmarked application related information matched with the updated resource package in the target material in the updated application interface based on the updated resource package. Therefore, the downloading time of the updated resource package can be fully utilized to display the application related information in advance, the problem that the user needs to spend time browsing and closing the application related information for many times after logging in is avoided, and the time utilization rate of the user is improved.
For example, if the obtained target material is an update advertisement, the content that has been presented on the update interface is marked in this step, and after the update is completed and the user logs into the application interface, the content that has not been marked in the update advertisement is continuously presented.
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a small game presented on an update interface according to one embodiment of the present application; FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram showing an update advertisement presented on an update interface according to an embodiment of the present application; FIG. 4 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment of the present application for presenting an attack article on an update interface.
The above procedure is illustrated: after the user starts the application program, the user equipment detects whether updating is needed; if the user does not need to update, displaying an account login interface for the user to login so as to enter an application interface; if the update is needed, the update resource package is downloaded from the server side; after the downloading is started, determining whether the estimated downloading time of the updated resource package exceeds the preset time, if so, creating a floating layer and presenting an updated notice on the floating layer, otherwise, displaying an account login interface for a user to log in after the downloading is finished; in the downloading process of updating the resource package, whether the application program is in the foreground or not needs to be detected in real time, if yes, the downloading is continued, and if not, the downloading is stopped; marking the update notices presented on the floating layer, and after the update resource package is downloaded and enters the application interface, presenting the update notices which are not marked until all update notices are presented, and the user starts to use the application program.
