[ detailed description ] embodiments
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present application more apparent, the present invention is described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
The terminology used in the embodiments of the present application is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the application. As used in the examples of this application and the appended claims, the singular forms "a", "an", and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
It should be understood that the term "and/or" as used herein is merely one type of association that describes an associated object, meaning that three relationships may exist, e.g., a and/or B may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone. In addition, the character "/" herein generally indicates that the former and latter related objects are in an "or" relationship.
The word "if" as used herein may be interpreted as "at … …" or "when … …" or "in response to a determination" or "in response to a detection", depending on the context. Similarly, the phrases "if determined" or "if detected (a stated condition or event)" may be interpreted as "upon determining" or "in response to determining" or "upon detecting (a stated condition or event)" or "in response to detecting (a stated condition or event)", depending on the context.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for optimizing an application update according to an embodiment of the present application, as shown in fig. 1, where the method is performed in a user equipment, and includes:
in 101, after the user equipment detects that the application program needs to be updated, the update resource package is downloaded.
In this step, the user starts the application program in the user equipment, and then downloads the update resource package after detecting that the application program needs to be updated. The downloaded update resource package is used for updating the version of the application program, and the application program can be a game application program, a social communication application program, a video picture application program, a professional tool application program and other application programs with resource package update requirements.
Specifically, when the user equipment in this step downloads the update resource package after detecting that the application needs to be updated, the following manner may be adopted: the user equipment sends an updating query request to the server, wherein the sent updating query request comprises the current version of the application program; after receiving a query result that an application program needs to be updated, acquiring the average downloading speed of a user equipment network, and sending a downloading request for updating a resource package to a server; and receiving the update resource packet data sent by the server.
After receiving an update query request sent by user equipment, the server compares the current version with the latest version of the application program, and if the current version and the latest version are different, returns a query result to be updated to the user equipment, wherein the query result can also contain the size of an update resource packet; and after receiving a downloading request sent by the user equipment, sending the update resource packet data to the user equipment.
It can be understood that the server in this step may be a server corresponding to the current application program, that is, the server is only responsible for updating the current application program; the application program update method may also be used for a server corresponding to a plurality of application programs, that is, the server is responsible for updating the plurality of application programs.
In addition, in an implementation manner of the present application, in the downloading process of the update resource package, if it is detected that the user closes or minimizes the application program, that is, the application program is not in the foreground, the downloading of the update resource package is suspended until the user reenters the application program, and then the downloading of the update resource package is continued.
In 102, the target material matched with the update resource package is obtained and presented on an update interface, wherein the update interface appears in the downloading process of the update resource package.
In this step, after the update resource package is downloaded from the server, the target material matched with the update resource package is obtained first, and then the obtained target material is presented on the current update interface of the user equipment until the update resource package is downloaded and installed. In the step, the target material can be obtained from the server corresponding to the current application program, the target material can also be obtained from other server sides, and the target material matched with the updated resource packet can also be obtained from the material locally stored in the user equipment; in addition, the target material presented on the update interface can be operated by the user.
In addition, before the target material matched with the updated resource package is obtained and presented on the update interface in this step, the following contents may also be included: acquiring download information of the updated resource package, wherein the download information includes the size of the updated resource package, the predicted download time of the updated resource package, and network performance parameters corresponding to the user equipment, such as network bandwidth and network speed corresponding to the user equipment; and determining whether the acquired downloading information meets a preset condition, if so, continuing to execute the operation of acquiring the target material matched with the updated resource package to be presented on the updated interface, otherwise, not executing the operation, and directly downloading the updated resource package.
In this step, when determining whether the download information meets the preset condition, it may be determined whether the size of the updated resource package is greater than a first preset threshold, it may also be determined whether the expected download time of the updated resource package is greater than a second preset threshold, and it may also be determined whether a network performance parameter corresponding to the user equipment is less than a third preset threshold.
That is to say, in an implementation manner of the present application, it can be determined whether a situation that an updated resource package is large, an expected download time of the updated resource package is long, or a network of a user device is poor exists currently, and if the situation exists, a target material is presented, and compared with a situation that the updated resource package is small or a download speed is high, the former situation is selected to present the target material, a waiting time for downloading the available updated resource package is sufficient, so that accuracy of presentation of the target material is improved, optimization experience brought to a user by effective utilization of resources is more remarkable, and meanwhile, distinguishing whether to present is performed, and waste of computing resources caused by unnecessary acquisition of the target material can be avoided.
It is understood that the target material matched with the updated resource package obtained in this step may include at least one of application-related information matched with the updated resource package and a presentation program matched with the updated resource package, that is, the target material obtained in this step corresponds to the updated resource package downloaded this time. By the method and the device, the user can be helped to directly browse the application related information matched with the updated resource package or directly operate the display program matched with the updated resource package under the condition that the current updated interface is not jumped out; meanwhile, the downloading of the update resource package is not affected.
Taking the application program as a game application as an example, the application related information matched with the updated resource package in this step includes but is not limited to: updating resource package description, including updating content description, updating function introduction, etc., such as game updating description or function introduction; application-related activity announcements, such as activity announcements for games; other application related information, such as game play, user sharing, etc.; the display program matched with the updated resource package in this step may be a mini game matched with the updated resource package, for example, a game with a small memory occupation, such as 2048, greedy snake, flying shooting, and the like. Taking the application program as a professional tool application program as an example, such as a professional video processing application, the application related information matched with the updated resource package in this step includes, but is not limited to, introduction of an update function, and a function demonstration video; the display program matched with the updated resource package in the step can be a tutorial interactive program for updating new functions in the resource package, and function teaching is realized by guiding user operation.
In order to enable the obtained target material to correspond to the application program more accurately, the following method may be adopted when the target material matched with the update resource package is obtained and presented on the update interface in this step: determining an application identification of the application program, such as an application type, an application name and the like; acquiring a material corresponding to the application identifier as a target material matched with the updated resource packet, wherein the target material acquired in the step corresponds to the application program; and presenting the target materials on the updating interface. The material corresponding to the application identifier obtained in this step may be information corresponding to the application type, strategy corresponding to the application name, and the like. In one implementation, the material corresponding to the application identifier may be a content update based on a difference between update resource packages downloaded each time, that is, the obtained target material matches with a current update resource package of the application program.
In order to acquire different target materials for presentation according to the downloading condition of the update resource package, so as to improve the flexibility of presenting the target materials on the update interface, the following method can be adopted when acquiring the target materials matched with the update resource package for presentation on the update interface: acquiring downloading information of the updated resource package, such as the size of the updated resource package, predicted downloading time and the like; acquiring a material corresponding to the download information as a target material matched with the update resource packet; and presenting the target materials on the updating interface.
For example, this step may present a presentation program, such as a mini-game, to the user when the update resource package is large or the expected download time of the update resource package is long, so that the user has enough time to operate; when the updated resource package is smaller or the predicted downloading time of the updated resource package is shorter, the steps can present the contents of information, strategy and the like to the user, so that the user can browse quickly.
In order to ensure that the target material has a good presentation effect on the update interface, when the target material is presented on the update interface in this step, the following contents may also be included: acquiring downloading information of the updated resource package; setting presentation parameters of the target material by combining the acquired download information, such as presentation time of different materials, switching frequency among a plurality of materials, switching modes among a plurality of materials and the like; and presenting the target materials on the updating interface based on the set presentation parameters.
For example, in this step, when the update resource package is large or the expected download time of the update resource package is long, multiple target materials may be presented on the update interface, and the set presentation parameters may be that the switching frequency between the materials is slow, or different types of target materials have different presentation times, etc.; secondly, when the update resource package is smaller or the predicted download time of the update resource package is shorter, a plurality of target materials are presented on the update interface, and the set presentation parameters can be that the switching frequency between the materials is faster, or different types of target materials have the same presentation time and the like.
It can be understood that, in this step, when the target material matched with the updated resource package is presented on the updated interface, the target material can be directly presented in the preset area of the current interface. The following may also be employed: creating a floating layer on the upper layer of the updating interface; and presenting the target materials matched with the updated resource packet on the created floating layer.
The floating layer created in this step is located at a preset position of the update interface, for example, may be located right above the update interface; in order not to affect other contents of the display update interface, the floating layer may also be located at a corner of the update interface, which is not limited in this application.
In order to enable the user to clearly know the downloading condition of the updated resource package, in this step, when the target material matched with the updated resource package is presented on the update interface, the downloading progress of the updated resource package may be displayed on the update interface, for example, the downloading progress may be displayed in a progress bar manner, the downloading speed and the size of the updated resource package may be displayed at the same time, and the downloading progress may be prompted in a message prompting manner, such as in a voice manner, a video animation manner, and the like. .
In addition, since the target material presented in this step may be the application related information matched with the updated resource package, in order to avoid repeated display of the application related information matched with the updated resource package in the updated application interface, this step may further include the following contents: marking the application related information which is presented on the updating interface and matched with the updating resource packet; and continuously presenting the unmarked application related information matched with the updated resource packet in the target material in the updated application interface based on the updated resource packet. Therefore, the step can fully utilize the downloading time of the updated resource package to display the relevant application information in advance, avoid the problem that the user still needs to spend time to browse and close the relevant application information for many times after logging in, and improve the utilization rate of the user time.
For example, if the obtained target material is an update announcement, the step marks the content already presented on the update interface, and continues to present the content that is not marked in the update announcement after the update completion user logs in to the application interface.
FIG. 2 is a schematic diagram of a mini-game presented on an update interface according to an embodiment of the present application; FIG. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating an update notification presented on an update interface according to an embodiment of the present application; fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating a strategy article presented on an update interface according to an embodiment of the present application.
The above process is exemplified: after a user starts an application program, user equipment detects whether updating is needed or not; if the updating is not needed, displaying an account login interface for the user to log in so as to enter an application interface; if the updating is needed, the updating resource package is downloaded from the server side; after downloading is started, determining whether the predicted downloading time of the updated resource package exceeds the preset time, if so, creating a floating layer and presenting an updating notice on the floating layer, otherwise, displaying an account login interface for a user to log in after downloading is completed; in the downloading process of updating the resource package, detecting whether the application program is in the foreground in real time, if so, continuing downloading, and otherwise, suspending downloading; and marking the update notices presented on the floating layer, and presenting the update notices which are not marked after the update resource package is downloaded and enters an application interface until all the update notices are presented, and starting to use the application program by a user.
