一种防止液晶显示模块直流电击的方法,通过处理从主机通过接口输入到液晶显示面板的信号产生液晶显示面板的驱动信号从而达到防止LCD模块直流电击的目的,其中液晶显示模块是从电源供电的时刻起经过预定时间之后启动。

防止液晶显示模块直流电击的方法
发明领域
本发明涉及一种防止驱动面板用的液晶显示(LCD)模块直流电击的方法。
背景技术
图1是一般LCD装置的方框图,下面说明其工作情况。信号从例如笔记本或PC(个人电子计算机)之类的主机的控制部分输出,经调定接口控制驱动面板用的LCD模块。如图1中所示,主机的控制器101向LCD模块103输出启动信号 DISP、起动一个图象画面的每一帧的帧信号FRM、数据信号DATA和顺次转移数据信号DATA的转移时钟信号SHIFT CK。这些信号都通过调定接口输入LCD模块103。LCD模块103中配备有单独产生调制信号的部分。
在上述结构的LCD装置中,LCD模块的直流电击是指LCD装置接上电源时因内电路信号与偏压之间在时间上的差异而作用到LCD模块上的电击。为避免LCD模块的电击,传统技术上都配备了调定程序供调定LCD装置的技术条件使其与相应的时间图一致。然而,有这样的问题,即直流电击是因硬件与软件之间的差错产生的。
发明内容
本发明的目的是提供一种精确度高的防止液晶显示模块直流电击的方法。
为达到上述目的,本发明提供的防止LCD模块直流电击的方法是通过处理从主机通过接口输入到液晶显示面板的信号产生液晶显示面板的驱动信号从而达到防止LCD模块直流电击的目的,其中液晶显示模块是从电源供电的时刻起经过预定的时间之后启动的。
这里主机的信号,例如来自笔记本个人电脑子计算机的启动信号最好经过延迟。此外,延迟启动信号的方法包括下列步骤:当电压加上时,往液晶显示模块输入除启动信号以外的信号;和往延迟器输入帧信号,将延迟器的输出信号与启动信号“与”组合起来,并将“与”组合得出的输出信号提供给液晶显示模块。
下面参看附图详细说明本发明的最佳实施例,从这个说明可以更清楚地理解本发明的上述目的和优点。

图2是说明本发明防止LCD模块直流电击的方法的方框图。
具体实施方式
图2的方框图说明了本发明防止LCD模块直流电击的方法。如图2中所示,主机的控制器201输出启动信号 DISP、起动图象各帧的帧信号FRM、数据信号DTAT,和供顺次转移数据信号DATA的转移时钟信号SHIFTCK。帧信号FRM、数据信号DATA和转移时钟信号SHIFT CK通过调定接口202直接输入LCD模块203。但来自调定接口202的启动信号 DISP则通过启动延迟电路204输入LCD模块203中。一个分离调制信号产生部分(未示)设置在LCD模块203中。调制信号是通过对从控制器201通过调定接口202输入LCD模块203的锁定时钟信号(图中未示出)的分频产生的。这里,锁定时钟信号是用来锁定由转移时钟信号SHIFT CK按水平行为单位顺次转移的数据信号DATA的。调制信号控制加到LCD面板元件(图中未示出)上电压的极性的。
启动显示电路204包括:T型触发器204a、204b和204c,供借助于帧信号FRM确定启动信号 DISP的延迟时间;D型触发器204d,与最后的T型触发器204c串联连接;和“与”门204e,供将来自调定接口202的启动信号 DISP与D型触发器204d的输出信号“与”组合起来,并将输出信号加到LCD模块203的启动端。这里,当输入的启动信号 DISP处于高态时,LCD模块203就启动。此外,在T型触发器204a、204b和204c中,当输入到触发器T端的信号从低态转入高态时各 Q端的输出状态倒转。在D型触发器204d中,Q端的输出在输入其时钟端CK的信号从高态转入低态的时刻保持高态。这是因为D输入端因电压VDD而保持高态所致。
图2启动延迟电路204的工作过程如下。如图2中所示,来自调定接口202的帧信号FRM直接加到LCD模块203上,并加到第一T型触发器204a的T输入端。加上电源电压接着帧信号FRM的第一脉冲从调定接口202输出时,第一T型触发器204a Q端的输出从高态转入低态。输出帧信号FRM的第二脉冲时,由于第一T型触发器204a Q端的输出从低态转入高态。因而,第二T型触发器204b Q端的输出从低态转入高态。输出帧信号FRM的第n个脉冲时,第n个T型触发器204c Q端的输出从高态输入低态。于是,D型触发器204d的Q输出端和“与”门204e的输出端从低态转入高态,从而启动LCD模块203。
当T型触发器的数目为n,加到T型触发器204a、204b和204c时钟的周期为T时,从调定接口202输出的启动信号 DISP在有关液晶显示装置通电经过等于nT的一段时间之后加到LCD模块203上。这里,T型触发器的数目n可根据有关LCD装置的技术条件和时间图确定。由于LCD模块203在LCD装置接通电源起帧信号FRM的n个周期之后工作,因而由于有效地消除了内电路信号与偏压之间的时差,可以避免LCD模块遭受直流电击。
本发明并不限于上述实施例,在不脱离本发明的范围和精神实质的前提下本技术领域的行家们是可以对上述实施例进行种种修改的。例如,若LCD模块203在启动信号 DISP处于低态时启动时,“与”门204e可以用“或”门代替,而D型触发器204d的输出端 Q(图中未示出)可以接“或”门的输入端。
综上所述,按照本发明防止LCD模块直流电击的方法,由于高度精确地防止LCD模块直流电击,因而可以提高LCD装置的生产率、质量和可靠性。

Claims (4)

1.一种防止LCD模块直流电击的方法,通过处理主机通过接口输入到液晶显示面板的信号产生液晶显示面板的驱动信号从而防止LCD模块直流电击,其中,所述液晶显示模块是从电源供电的时刻起经过预定的时间之后启动的,
其特征在于,来自所述接口的启动信号被延迟,其中延迟所述启动信号的方法包括下列步骤:
往所述液晶显示模块输入除启动信号外的信号,且加上电压时往显示器输入帧信号;
将所述延迟器的输出信号与所述启动信号“与”组合;和
将所述“与”组合得出的输出信号提供给所述液晶显示模块。
2.如权利要求1所述的防止液晶显示模块直流电击的方法,其特征在于,所述延迟器由串联连接的T型触发器组成。
3.如权利要求1所述的防止液晶显示模块直流电击的方法,其特征在于,当产生与所述延迟器一样多的时钟脉冲数目时所述LCD模块启动。
4.如权利要求1所述的防止LCD模块直流电击的方法,其特征在于,所述主机是笔记本式个人电子计算机。
