Abstract
The invention discloses a filter stick without wrapping paper and with continuous closed cavities, wherein 2 to a plurality of closed cavities which are continuously distributed and independent from each other are arranged in the filter stick along the axis of the filter stick. The forming device comprises a forming cigarette gun and a forming core rod, wherein the forming cigarette gun is provided with a steam shaping section and a cooling and solidifying section, and the forming core rod reciprocates in the steam shaping section to form cavity sections and compact sections which are arranged at intervals. The cavity has the effects of cooling and reducing tar for smoke, and compared with the traditional cavity composite filter stick, the cavity composite filter stick does not need a composite process and wrapping paper, and has great competitive advantages in the aspects of cost, efficiency and the like.

Background
The general filter stick is formed by wrapping a filter element with forming paper, and the filter element which is made of denser material and has higher hardness can be directly formed into a filter stick without wrapping the filter element with the forming paper; some filter cartridges have axial through holes therein and some filter cartridges have individual closed holes therein.

The length of the part of the forming core rod in the forming cavity is not more than that of the steam shaping section, and the diameter from the head to the tail of the forming core rod is gradually reduced when seen from the entering position of the filament bundle.
The steam shaping section is provided with a steam heating pipeline, can heat the shell of the shaping cigarette gun and then transfers heat to the tows in the inner shaping cavity of the shaping cigarette gun.
When a forming core rod is inserted into the filament bundle, the filament bundle is heated, the filament bundle is restrained by the core rod and a cigarette gun together, an adhesive therein is melted at high temperature for shaping the filament bundle to form a hollow cavity with a hollow structure and shaping, and after the forming core rod is pulled out, the shape of the core rod is kept in the filament bundle to form a cavity section.
The cooling and solidifying section is provided with a cold air inlet pipeline which can cool the outer shell of the cigarette gun and transfer cold energy to the tows in the forming cavity inside the cigarette gun.
When the tows continue to move forward through the steam shaping section, the forming core rod is pulled out at the moment, the tows containing the cavity move forward to the cooling and solidifying section, and the cavity in the tows is further solidified and is not easy to deform.
When the molding core rod exits (only exits from the steam shaping section), the tows entering subsequently have basically no gaps and do not form cavities, and the tows without the gaps form a compact section when entering the steam shaping section and the cooling and solidifying section in sequence.
The subsequent filament bundles can form a filter core or a filter stick without paper package, wherein the filter core or the filter stick is provided with a plurality of cavity sections and dense sections which are alternated, under the common constraint of the forming core rod and the forming cavity which repeatedly advance and retreat.

Meanwhile, compared with the traditional cavity composite filter stick, the composite filter stick does not need a composite process, does not need high-quantitative forming paper and an adhesive, and has great advantages in the aspects of cost and efficiency. The production cost of the cavity composite filter stick is reduced, and the loss of raw materials during molding is reduced. The size of the cavity is adjustable and controllable, and the filter stick with various specifications can be manufactured.

Detailed Description
As shown in figure 1, the filter stick without the wrapping paper and provided with the continuous closed cavities adopts acetate fibers and thermosetting adhesive as main raw materials, and has a structure with 4 closed cavities which are continuously arranged along an axial lead and are independent from each other in the filter stick;
the length of the cavity in the axial direction is larger than that in the radial direction, and the size of the cavity in the radial direction is about 1/3-2/3 of the diameter of the filter stick.
The diameter D range of each cavity is 3-5 mm, and the length L range is 10-15 mm.
The equipment for forming the filter stick shown in figure 2 comprises a forming core rod, a driving mechanism for controlling the reciprocating advance and retreat of the forming core rod and a forming smoke gun; the inside of the forming cigarette gun is provided with a filter stick forming cavity, when in use, the forming core rod enters the forming cavity from the inlet of the filament bundle, and the part entering the forming cavity can move back and forth in the forming cavity; the shaping cigarette gun is sequentially provided with a steam shaping section and a cooling and solidifying section from the entering position of the tows; the length of the part of the forming core rod in the forming cavity is not more than the length of the steam shaping section.
The steam shaping section is provided with a steam heating pipeline which can heat the shell of the shaping cigarette gun and then transfer heat to the tows in the inner shaping cavity of the shaping cigarette gun; the cooling solidification section is provided with a cold air inlet pipeline, and the cold air can cool the outer shell of the cigarette gun and transfer cold energy to the tows in the forming cavity in the cigarette gun.
The forming mandrel shown in fig. 3 has a gradually decreasing diameter from the head to the tail.
Claims (8)
1. A filter stick without wrapping paper with a continuous closed cavity adopts acetate fiber and thermosetting adhesive as main raw materials, and is characterized in that: the filter stick is internally provided with a structure of 2 to a plurality of closed cavities which are continuously arranged along the axial lead and are independent from each other;
the length of the cavity in the axial direction is larger than that in the radial direction, and the size of the cavity in the radial direction is about 1/3-2/3 of the diameter of the filter stick.
2. A wrapper-free filter rod with a continuous closed cavity according to claim 1, wherein: the diameter D range of each cavity is 1-5.5 mm, and the length L range is 5-20 mm.

the steam shaping section is provided with a steam heating pipeline which can heat the shell of the shaping cigarette gun and then transfer heat to the tows in the inner shaping cavity of the shaping cigarette gun; the cooling solidification section is provided with a cold air inlet pipeline, and the cold air can cool the outer shell of the cigarette gun and transfer cold energy to the tows in the forming cavity in the cigarette gun.
5. A filter rod forming apparatus according to claim 4, wherein: the diameter of the forming core rod from the head to the tail is gradually reduced from the entry position of the filament bundle.

A molding process according to claim 4, characterized in that: when a shaping core rod is inserted into the filament bundle shaping section through steam, the filament bundle is heated, the filament bundle is restrained by the core rod and a cigarette gun together, an adhesive therein is melted at high temperature for shaping the filament bundle to form a hollow cavity with a hollow structure, and after the shaping core rod is pulled out, the shape of the core rod is kept in the filament bundle section to form a cavity section;
when the filament bundle continues to move forwards through the steam shaping section, the shaping core rod is pulled out, the filament bundle containing the shaped cavity moves forwards to the cooling and solidifying section, and the cavity in the filament bundle is further cooled, solidified and kept in shape.
