A control system of a lifting and transverse moving type mechanical stereo garage comprises a steel structure, a vehicle carrying plate, a vehicle identification device, a transmission structure, a control structure, a safety protection device and the like. When a vehicle enters the garage, the vehicle recognition device recognizes and allocates parking spaces, the control structure controls the transmission structure to move the vehicle parked on the vehicle carrying plate to a specified position and move an empty parking space to one layer, and the next vehicle can park conveniently.
