本发明实施例公开了一种位置识别方法和终端,其中方法包括,终端获取对电子地图输入的位置信息,在所述电子地图中确定所述位置信息所对应的位置,并在所述位置上显示定位标记;检测对所述定位标记输入的滑动指令,并根据所述滑动指令将所述定位标记在所述电子地图中进行移动,以对所述定位标记当前所处位置进行更新,对所述定位标记当前所处位置进行识别,得到更新后的位置信息,通过实施上述方法,可以简化用户在电子地图中选择位置时的操作流程,提高终端的位置识别效率。
