本申请实施例提供了一种提示信息的显示方法及电子设备,涉及电子技术领域,能够在息屏状态下间歇性地显示指纹图标,降低电子设备的功耗。具体方案为:在息屏状态下,电子设备在屏幕上显示指纹图标;在满足预设条件后,电子设备停止在屏幕上显示指纹图标。本申请实施例用于提示指纹识别区域。
