Detailed Description
An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the accompanying drawings, but it should be understood that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the embodiment.
The utility model provides a behavioural device that rodent mating wish detected, as shown in fig. 1-3, includes open-ended box 1 and baffle 2 in the top, is equipped with draw-in groove 3 on the box 1, and baffle 2 passes through draw-in groove 3 and can dismantle with box 1 and be connected, is equipped with female rodent passageway 4 on the baffle 2, and baffle 2 is the transparent foraminiferous baffle. The box body 1 is used as the experimental environment of the experimental animal. The transparent partition plate 2 with the holes is adopted, so that the rodent can acquire the visual and olfactory information of the other space. The rodent is separated into two spaces, and the two spaces are connected through a channel, so that the mating behavior of the female rat is ensured to be carried out at will.
Further, the card slot 3 is an inner card slot or an outer card slot.
Further, the partition 2 includes a plurality of partitions 2 provided with female rodent passageways 4 of different sizes. The partition plates 2 with the female rodent channels 4 are designed into an alternative mode, and the partition plates 2 with the female rodent channels 4 can be selected according to the body sizes of male rodents and female rodents which are actually detected in behavior, so that the male rodents can only freely move in one side space, and the female rodents can freely pass through the channels to enter the moving range of the male rodents besides freely moving in one side space.
Further, the body weight and chest circumference of the rodents are measured before the official experiment, and the partition plates 2 provided with the female rodent passages 4 of different sizes are selected according to the rodents of different body types.
Further, a female rodent passageway 4 is provided at the bottom of the partition 2.
Further, the female rodent passageway 4 is a semi-circular aperture.
Furthermore, the box body 1 and the partition plate 2 are made of acrylic plates, and the acrylic plates used by the box body are opaque. The acrylic plate is light in weight, low in price, non-toxic, easy to form, good in weather resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high in toughness and not easy to damage; the repairing performance is strong, and the like, and the cleaning after the experiment only needs to be carried out by using 20% alcohol and wiping the paper with 20% alcohol.
Furthermore, the space size behind the partition plate 2 separating the box body 1 simulates the size of a rodent feeding environment cage, and the sufficient activity space of the animals is ensured.
Taking a mouse as an example, the surface of the box body 1 except the top surface is left empty, the other five surfaces are opaque square acrylic plates with the thickness of 0.5cm, and the height of the box body 1 and the partition plate 2 is 50 cm. The left side of the clamping groove 3 is taken as the left side and the right side, and the other two sides are taken as the front side and the back side. Wherein the bottom surface is 40cm × 30cm, the left and right side surfaces are 40cm × 50cm, and the front and back side surfaces are 30cm × 50 cm. The middle transparent porous partition 2 has the size of 40cm multiplied by 50cm and the thickness of 0.5 cm. The radius of the semicircular hole of the female rodent passageway 4 is 1cm, 1.2cm, 1.4cm and 1.6cm respectively. Through the selection of the size, the experimental animal feeding environment can be simulated on the one hand, and meanwhile, the sufficient activity space of the experimental animal feeding environment in the box body 1 is ensured, so that the influence of strange environment on animal behaviors is reduced.
Because of the difference in the body types of the mice, before the mice are used formally, the weight of the mice and the chest circumference of the mice should be measured, and the replaceable partition plate 2 with the corresponding aperture should be selected. In the copulation willingness behavior detection, male and female mice are respectively placed at two sides of the box body, and if the female mice have copulation willingness, the female mice can go to the area where the male mice are located through the bottom channel. If the female mouse has no copulation intention, the female mouse can not go to the area where the male mouse is located, and the male mouse can not go to the area where the female mouse is located through a small hole to force the female mouse to copulate.
The invention is designed to be suitable for rodents represented by mice, but the device can be suitable for other experimental animals to carry out experimental operation after the sizes of all parts of the device are modified. In addition, the device is suitable for experiments of a pair of (two) animals, and a plurality of devices can be placed under the condition of permission of laboratory space, so that the experimental efficiency is improved.
The above description is only a specific embodiment of the present invention, and not all embodiments, and any equivalent modifications of the technical solutions of the present invention, which are made by those skilled in the art through reading the present specification, are covered by the claims of the present invention.
