Abstract
The invention relates to a sheet feeder (1) comprising a lateral pull standard, a support platform (2) and a plurality of pressing elements (7) for pressing a sheet against the support platform (2). The side pull gauge may have a pull gauge plate (11). The pressure elements (7) each have a latching means (13) and the lateral pull gauge has a stop (12) for releasing the latching means (13).

Technical Field
The invention relates to a sheet feeder comprising a lateral pull standard (Seitenziehmarke), a support table and a plurality of pressing elements for pressing sheets onto the support table.
Background
DE 2937541B 2 describes a sheet feeder in which the pressure elements have spring blades which can be moved together with the sheet in the direction of pulling the standard sideways.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention is based on the object of providing a further sheet feeder.
The object is achieved by a sheet feeder comprising a lateral pull standard, a support table and a plurality of pressing elements for pressing a sheet onto the support table, characterized in that the pressing elements each have a latching portion and the lateral pull standard has a stop for releasing the latching portions.
The sheet feeder according to the invention has the advantage that such collisions between the lateral pull gauge and the pressure member, which could lead to damage as a result, are avoided. Additional advantages are: a high degree of operating comfort for the pressure piece, whereby the assembly time is reduced.
Different modifications are possible:
the pressure elements can each have a return spring which adjusts the pressure element from an active position (Aktivposition) into an inactive position (passiveposition).
The pressing elements may each have a gripping portion for adjusting the pressing elements from the passive position to the active position.
The pressure pieces can each have a pressure piece which can be closer to the sheet running plane of the support table in the active position than in the passive position.
The lateral pulling gauge may have a pulling gauge plate (ziehmarkenplate) and the stop may be arranged on the pulling gauge plate.
The pull gauge plate can be adjustably supported in the setting direction toward the pressure piece.
The pressure pieces may each have a movably mounted lever, and the first mating element of the latching means may be arranged on the lever.
The first mating element may be a cavity.
The second mating element of the latching means can be of the spring-type (gefedert).
The second mating element may be arranged on the leaf spring.
The stop can be stopped against the leaf spring when the latching means is released.
The second mating element may be a pin.

Detailed Description
The sheet feeder 1 of the printing press comprises a support table 2, which support table 2 has a sheet running plane 4 inclined in a sheet running direction 3, which sheet running plane 4 is formed by a table plate (Tischblech). The transverse member 5 is oriented perpendicular to the sheet running direction 3 and extends horizontally from the drive side to the operating side of the printing press. The cross beam 5 is carried on the drive side and the operating side, respectively, by a holder 6 fastened to the deck material. On the cross beam 5 there are arranged pressing pieces 7 of mutually identical configuration.
Each pressure piece 7 comprises a rod 8 as a slide and a housing 9 as a guide for the rod 8. Arranged on the lever 8 is a pressure plate 10 formed by a spring plate, which pressure plate 10 presses the sheets against the sheet running surface 4 when the sheets are transported in the sheet running direction 3 by the conveyor belt of the support table 2. In the sheet-running direction 3, a lateral pull gauge is provided at the level of the pressure element 7, which has a pull gauge plate 11 made of a bent sheet metal material. A bolt is arranged as a stop 12 on the pulling rule plate 11.
Each pressure piece 7 has a latching 13, which latching 13 holds the movable parts of the pressure piece 7 (i.e. the lever 8 and the pressure piece 10) in the active position shown in fig. 1. In the active position, the pressing element 7 presses the sheet against the sheet running surface 4. The latching means 13 comprise a cavity 14 in the lever 8 as a depression and a bolt 15 on a leaf spring 16 fastened to the housing 9 as a spring-loaded blocking body. The lever 8 is loaded by a return spring 17, which return spring 17 adjusts the lever 8 from the active position to the passive position as soon as the latch 13 is released. In the passive position shown in fig. 3, the pressure piece 7 is no longer located in the impact region of the lateral draft standard. A return spring 17 is integrated into the housing 9 and rests on the lever 8. In order to adjust the lever 8 together with the pressure plate 10 from the passive position back into the active position, a grip 18 is arranged on the lever 8.
Fig. 1 shows that the pressure plate 10 is located between the foreign-matter barrier 19 and the front standard protection 20 in the sheet-running direction 3. The double arrow indicates a switching movement 21, by means of which switching movement 21 the pressure element 7 can be switched from the active position into the passive position and from the passive position back into the active position.
The illustrated apparatus works as follows:
when changing from a sheet of a larger format to a sheet of a smaller format, the lateral pull standard must be reset so that it fits the width of the smaller format. For this purpose, the pull-gauge plate 11 is adjusted in an adjustment direction 22 parallel to the arrangement of the pressure pieces 7. In this case, the lateral pull gauge comes into contact with the latching means 13 of each pressure element 7 located in the adjustment path of the lateral pull gauge, whereby the latching means 13 is released. This is achieved in particular by the blocking portion 12 striking against the leaf spring 16 and lifting the bolt 15 from the cavity 14. The stop 12 projects beyond the trailing gauge plate 11 in the setting direction to such an extent that the stop 12 releases the latching means 13 before the trailing gauge plate 11 strikes the pressure plate 10. After the latch 13 has been released, the return spring 17 can push the lever 8 upwards. The pressure disk 10 is lifted from the sheet running plane 4 to such an extent that the lateral pull standard can be moved past the pressure part 7 under the pressure disk 10. If necessary, pulling the gauge sideways also switches one or more other compression members 7 in the array to the passive position. The number of pressing members 7 switched by the side drag standard is related to the difference between the width of the old sheet before the format change and the width of the new sheet after the format change.
If it is necessary to convert the sheet feeder 1 from a small sheet format to a large sheet format in another format change, the tractor template 11 is moved against the setting direction 22 to the machine side. In this case, the trailing gauge plate 11 runs past at least one pressure element 7 in the passive position. After the pulling of the gauge plate 11 has passed the pressure element 7 and there is no longer a risk of collision, the operator presses the lever 8 down again at the grip 18 against the action of the return spring 17 until the latching means 13 snaps in again and thus locks the lever 8 in the active position.
