The diagnostic card 14 is communicatively coupled to the processor 120 via a diagnostic bus 122. The motherboard 12 is provided with a motherboard control input interface 123 and a motherboard status output interface 124. The motherboard control input interface 123 is configured to receive input signals to control the processor 120 to execute predetermined instructions or instruction sets. The motherboard status output interface 124 is configured to output various status signals generated during operation of the motherboard 12.

In the embodiment of the present application, the diagnostic card 14 is provided with two modes of operation, one in the recording mode and one in the playback mode. Wherein, in the recording mode, the diagnostic card 14 records a diagnostic code of the main board 12; in the playback mode, the diagnostic card 14 outputs the diagnostic code to an indicating device located on the housing 10. 2. The electronic device with a motherboard diagnostic card of claim 1, wherein: the trigger signal further includes a playback control signal, the playback control signal including: display the last diagnostic code, display the next diagnostic code, display the last diagnostic code.

starting the main board, and enabling the diagnostic card to enter a recording mode;
the diagnostic card receives a main board state signal and a diagnostic code from the main board, records the diagnostic code and transparently transmits the state signal to the indicator lamp;
judging whether a trigger signal is received or not;
if a non-diagnosis trigger signal is received, the non-diagnosis trigger signal is transmitted to the main board; and
and if the diagnosis trigger signal is received, entering a playback mode, converting the diagnosis code into an indication signal and outputting the indication signal to the indicator lamp.
6. The motherboard diagnostic method as recited in claim 5, wherein: the method also comprises the following steps:
in the playback mode, firstly, the last diagnosis code is converted and then output to the indicator lamp;
judging whether a playback control trigger signal is received or not;
and if the playback control trigger signal is received, converting the corresponding diagnosis code and outputting the diagnosis code to the indicator lamp.
