Abstract

The invention discloses a method for thinning a single surface of glass, which comprises the following steps of firstly, detecting the glass; secondly, attaching an isolation layer to the acid-proof film, sealing the acid-proof film and the glass through UV glue, and then soaking the glass in an 8-15% HF acid etching tank to thin the single surface until the thickness is reduced to the specification of a customer; finally tearing off the adhesive film, and cleaning and checking. Through the cooperation of the acid-proof film and the isolation layer, the adhesion area of the acid-proof film and the glass is reduced, and the film is torn after etching is facilitated.

Background
The continuous development of liquid crystal display panels requires that the display screen is lighter and thinner, the OLED panel is limited by the process, and the glass substrate cannot be thinned on two sides and can be thinned on one side. Therefore, the thinning difficulty of the OLED is higher, the surface of the protective cover needs not to be corroded by acid liquor in the production process, and meanwhile, the substrate surface needs to be soaked in the acid liquor for chemical etching. The difficulty of the process is very conceivable.
Disclosure of Invention
Aiming at the defects in the prior art, the invention mainly aims at overcoming the defects in the prior art, and discloses a method for thinning a single surface of glass, which comprises the following steps:
s1, incoming material inspection: checking whether the incoming material is defective and recording;
s2, pasting an adhesive film: attaching an isolating layer on the surface of the glass, attaching an acid-proof film, adhering the acid-proof film to the glass by using a back adhesive of the acid-proof film, adhering the back adhesive of the middle part to the isolating layer, and hermetically attaching the edge to the glass by using UV adhesive;
s3, single-side etching: soaking the substrate in an 8-15% HF acid etching tank to reduce the thickness of a single surface until the thickness is reduced to a customer specification;
s4, removing the attached film: after soaking, tearing off the attached film on the surface of the glass;
s5, cleaning and checking: the glass surface is cleaned of dirt and inspected for defects and if not, packaged.

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the present invention more apparent, the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments. It should be understood that the specific embodiments described herein are merely illustrative of the invention and are not intended to limit the invention.
The glass refers to a glass substrate which can only be thinned on one side according to the process requirements, and the glass substrate is thinned by soaking in an acid solution for corrosion.
An attaching film for thinning a single surface of glass is shown in figures 1-2 and comprises an acid-proof film 1, an isolation layer 2 and UV glue 3, wherein the isolation layer 2 is attached to a target position of glass 4, the acid-proof film 1 covers the isolation layer 2, the edge of the acid-proof film 1 protrudes out of the edge of the isolation layer, and the edge of the acid-proof film 1 is hermetically attached to the glass 4 through the UV glue 3. In the above embodiment, the adhesion area between the glass 4 and the acid-proof film 1 is reduced by the isolation layer 2, so as to facilitate the removal of the acid-proof film 1 after the thinning is completed; by sealing the edge of the acid-proof film 1 with the glass 4 through the UV glue 3, the corrosive liquid is prevented from contacting the cover plate surface of the glass 4 from the gap between the acid-proof film 1 and the glass 4 to corrode the surface of the glass 4; and the side edges of the glass 4 are protected from the acid by the UV glue 3.
In one embodiment, the isolation layer 2 is release paper; by using the release paper and utilizing the anti-sticking property of the release paper, the release paper can be conveniently torn off from the acid-proof film 1 for continuous use; meanwhile, the contact area between the acid-proof film 1 and the glass 4 can be reduced, so that the film can be torn conveniently after etching.
In one embodiment, the isolation layer 2 is an electrostatic film. The electrostatic film is adsorbed on the surface of the glass 4 by means of self static electricity, and glue is not left on the stripped surface after stripping; after the adhesion, the glass 4 is kept still relatively all the time, so that the adhesion reliability of the acid-proof film 1 and the glass 4 is improved. Therefore, if the middle part is made of a non-adhesive material, the acid-proof film 1 and the glass 4 are completely connected and fixed only by slightly gluing the edges, and the acid-proof film 1 and the glass 4 are possibly separated to a certain extent when the acid-proof film is used.
In the above embodiment, the length of the isolation layer 2 is-20 ± 2mm of the long side of the glass 4, the width is-20 ± 2mm of the short side of the glass 4, and the thickness is 100 ± 10 um.
In one embodiment, the acid-proof film 1 has a thickness of 100 ± 10 um.
The invention also discloses a method for thinning the single surface of the glass, which comprises the following steps:
s1, incoming material inspection: checking whether the incoming material is defective and recording; the purpose is to select good glass 4 for etching, record and split defective glass 4, and process according to different defects to reduce loss.
S2, pasting an adhesive film: attaching release paper (since the release paper has no viscosity, the step is only arranged on the surface of the glass 4) on the surface of the glass 4; preferably, the release paper is attached in the middle of the glass 4. Then adhering the acid-proof film 1 to glass 4 by using the gum of the acid-proof film 1, adhering the gum of the middle part to release paper, and sealing and adhering the edge to the glass 4 through UV (ultraviolet) glue 3; the UV glue 3 is cured by a UV lamp after coating. Of course, since the release paper has no stickiness, the release paper may be attached to the acid-proof film 1 first, and then the acid-proof film 1 may be attached to the glass 4.
S3, single-side etching: soaking the substrate in an 8-15% HF acid etching tank to reduce the thickness of a single surface until the thickness is reduced to a customer specification;

Of course, since the electrostatic film is not sticky, the electrostatic film may be attached to the acid-proof film 1 first, and then the acid-proof film 1 may be attached to the glass 4.

In the above embodiment, in step S2, the cover plates of two pieces of glass 4 with attached films are attached together, that is, the side of glass 4 with attached films is arranged opposite to each other, and the edges are sealed by UV glue. This further prevents the ingress of acid to etch the lid face.
In the above embodiment, the length of the isolation layer 2 is-20 ± 2mm of the long side of the glass 4, the width is-20 ± 2mm of the short side of the glass, and the thickness is 100 ± 10 um.

s2, pasting an adhesive film: attaching an isolating layer on the surface of the glass, attaching an acid-proof film, adhering the acid-proof film to the glass by using a back adhesive of the acid-proof film, adhering the back adhesive of the middle part to the isolating layer, and hermetically attaching the edge to the glass by using UV adhesive;
s3, single-side etching: soaking the substrate in an 8-15% HF acid etching tank to reduce the thickness of a single surface until the thickness is reduced to a customer specification;
s4, removing the attached film: after soaking, tearing off the attached film on the surface of the glass;
s5, cleaning and checking: the glass surface is cleaned of dirt and inspected for defects and if not, packaged.
2. A method for thinning a single side of glass according to claim 1, wherein said defects include surface scratches and edge chipping.
3. The method for thinning the single side of the glass according to claim 1, wherein the isolation layer is release paper.
4. The method for thinning the single side of the glass according to claim 1, wherein the isolation layer is an electrostatic film.
5. The method for thinning the single side of glass according to claim 1, wherein in step S2, after the attaching film is attached, the side of the two pieces of glass to which the attaching film is attached is arranged oppositely, and the edges of the two pieces of glass are sealed by UV glue.
