Description

Hair styling composition
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a hair styling agent composition for a hair styling agent for hair styling.
Background
Hair styling compositions in various forms such as liquid, gel, cream, and solid are known for hair styling. Conventionally, in hair styling compositions, in order to exert hair styling power as a main function thereof, a film-forming polymer, a wax which is solid at room temperature, an oil or fat, and a hydrocarbon oil have been often used (for example, patent documents 1 and 2).
For example, in particular, among women, there are cases where it is desired to apply a hairstyle in which a permanent wave is formed by a chemical reaction to hair. A hair styling agent composition used for such a hairstyle is required to have excellent properties of reproducing a curl formed after a permanent wave is applied (curl reproducibility) and excellent properties of retaining the reproduced curl (curl retention).
As a hair styling composition for styling hair after permanent waving, for example, a cream-like hair cosmetic containing a carboxyvinyl polymer and vinylpyrrolidone/N, N-dimethylaminoethylmethacrylate copolymer diethyl ester sulfate is known (for example, patent document 3).

Examples of the powder include silica, talc, mica, calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, hydroxyapatite, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, calcium silicate, magnesium silicate, aluminum silicate, and magnesium hydroxide. When the hair styling composition of the present invention contains a powder, stickiness is further suppressed, and the effect after hair styling becomes light. Among the above powders, silica, magnesium silicate, and magnesium hydroxide are preferable from the viewpoint of more excellent suppression of stickiness and hair styling ability. The silica may be anhydrous silicic acid (hydrophilic silica) which has not been subjected to hydrophobization treatment, or may be hydrophobized anhydrous silicic acid. The silica may be surface-treated with an amino acid, an ester, lecithin, or the like. The silica may be so-called easily disintegrable silica particles. The powder may be used alone or in combination of two or more.
The hair styling agent composition of the present invention preferably contains substantially no oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃ and is selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils, waxes, and oils and fats. In the present specification, the phrase "solid at 25 ℃ means that, for example, a sample (oil) flowing in an amount of 50g is dissolved by heating in a glass bottle having a radius of 2cm and a height of 7cm, and the sample does not drip from the glass bottle when 5 minutes has elapsed since the inversion after the glass bottle is cooled to 25 ℃. Hereinafter, the "oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃ and is selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils, waxes, and oils" may be referred to as "specific oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃. Examples of the specific oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃ include carnauba wax, candelilla wax, beeswax, rice bran wax, shellac wax, spermaceti wax, lanolin, ceresin (ceresin), paraffin wax, microcrystalline wax, polyethylene powder, polyethylene wax, vaseline, hydrogenated castor oil, and wood wax.
In the present specification, "substantially not contained" means "not actively contained", and does not exclude that a trace amount of the component contained in other compounding ingredients is inevitably contained. More specifically, for example, the content of the specific oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃ (particularly the specific oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃) in the hair styling composition of the present invention is preferably 0.05% by mass or less (that is, 0 to 0.05% by mass), and more preferably 0.01% by mass or less, based on 100% by mass of the hair styling composition of the present invention. When the hair styling composition does not substantially contain a specific oil agent which is solid at 25 ℃, the hair styling composition is more excellent in the degree of easy-to-push-off during hair styling, and can further suppress stickiness of hair after hair styling.
The formulation of the hair styling composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, and examples thereof include lotions, creams, and the like. Among them, a fluid emulsion is preferable. The hair styling composition of the present invention is an emulsified composition. By using the emulsion composition, a moist touch can be imparted during application.
The viscosity of the hair styling composition of the present invention at 25 ℃ is not particularly limited, and is preferably 500 to 100000mPa · s, and more preferably 1000 to 30000mPa · s, from the viewpoint of coating properties and good affinity for hair. For example, the above viscosity was measured using a viscometer with a No.4 spindle at a rotation speed of 6rpm for 1 minute. As the viscometer, a TV-22 type viscometer manufactured by Toyobo industries Co., Ltd can be used.
The hair styling composition of the present invention is not particularly limited, and can be produced by a known or customary method. For example, the hair styling composition of the present invention can be produced by mixing the above-mentioned components and emulsifying by a forward emulsification method, a phase inversion emulsification method, or the like using a homomixer. The mixing and emulsification may be performed separately or simultaneously.
The hair styling composition of the present invention is a hair styling composition containing water and an oil agent [ component (a) ], and the hair styling composition containing water and component (a) is thickened and stabilized in an emulsified state by blending xanthan gum [ component (B) ] and an acrylic thickener [ component (C) ]. In particular, by using the component (B) as a substance which exerts a thickening effect in addition to the component (C), the curl reproducibility after coating is excellent and the curl retainability is relatively excellent in addition to the stability. Further, stickiness of the hair styling agent can be suppressed. In addition, in such a hair styling agent composition, the degree of easy-open at the time of application is excellent by blending the component (a). Further, by blending a cationic film-forming polymer [ component (D) ] (particularly polyquaternium-11) in a large amount of a polymer (setting polymer) imparting hair styling properties, the hair styling composition can maintain stability and can form a film having excellent curl reproducibility. Further, since the hair is not caught even by hand combing in a dry state and is not easily deformed even by touching, the degree of easy pushing-off at the time of coating is more excellent and the curl retention is also excellent. In general, since the component (C) is anionic, when the component (D) is used in combination with the component (C), a block is formed or the viscosity of the hair styling composition is lowered, whereby it is predicted that the stability is lowered. However, surprisingly, in the hair styling agent composition of the present invention, the component (D) can form a relatively soft film after application while maintaining the stability and viscosity of the hair styling agent composition, thereby exerting an effect of making the curl reproducibility and curl retention excellent.
Further, by blending polyoxypropylene sorbitol [ component (E) ] in the hair styling composition of the present invention, the hair styling composition is imparted with adhesiveness, and the degree of easy pushing-off, curl reproducibility and curl retention at the time of application are further excellent.

TABLE 2
Figure BDA0002366089270000151
The hair styling agent composition (example) of the present invention is excellent in stability, degree of easy-open upon application, curl reproducibility, and curl retention. On the other hand, when the component (a) is not contained (comparative example 1), the degree of easy-open at the time of coating is low. In the case where the component (C) was not contained (comparative example 2), separation was observed in the stability test. When the component (D) is not contained (comparative example 3), the curl retention is poor. In the case of using carrageenan instead of the component (B) (comparative example 4), the curl reproducibility was poor. When another film-forming polymer was used in place of the component (D) (comparative examples 5 to 8), the degree of easy-to-push during coating and the curl retention during manual combing after drying were poor.
