The electrolyzed seawater with the concentration can effectively kill plankton, pathogen, larva or spore thereof and the like remained in the filtered seawater, thereby achieving the specified sterilization effect. The electrolyzed seawater output from the ballast water treatment apparatus 1 is transported to the main water outlet pipe and the third water transport pipe 71 through the main water transport pipe 7, transported to the sea chest through the main water outlet pipe, and transported to the ballast water tank through the third water transport pipe 71.
