本公开详述了用于电动化车辆的热管理总成。所述热管理总成包括热交换模块,所述热交换模块具有通向电动化车辆下方的区域的入口导管和出口导管。在本具体实施方式的以下段落中更详细地描述了本公开的这些和其他特征。
图1示意性地示出了包括货厢14的车辆10。在所示实施例中,车辆10为皮卡车。虽然示出了卡车,但卡车以外的车辆也可受益于本公开的教导。
货厢14建立用于与车辆10一起储存和运输货物的货物空间。示例性货厢14位于车辆10的乘客舱18的后方。
现在参图2,同时继续参考图1,货厢14包括在一对纵向延伸的侧壁26之间延伸的底板22。货厢14的前部由前壁30提供,所述前壁位于乘客舱18的后方。货厢14的后部由后挡板34提供。
车辆10还包括牵引电池38、至少一个电机42和多个驱动轮46。当供电时,电机42可以驱动驱动轮46以使车辆10移动。电机42可以从牵引电池38接收电力。电机42将电力转换为扭矩以驱动驱动轮46。示例性牵引电池38被认为是相对高压的电池。
示例性车辆10为纯电动车辆。在其他示例中,车辆10为混合动力电动车辆,其使用由内燃发动机提供的扭矩来选择性地驱动车轮,作为电机的替代或补充。通常,车辆10可以为具有牵引电池的任何类型的车辆。
车辆10包括车底结构50,所述车底结构垂直朝下。牵引电池38在乘客舱18的垂直下方的位置,以及在该示例中在货厢14的垂直下方的位置,安装到车底结构50。
车辆10还包括水平面对的侧和面向下的侧。出于本公开的目的,垂直和水平是指在车辆10的正常操作期间车辆10相对于地面的一般取向。
许多区域位于车辆10下方。在示例性实施例中,区域A1位于车辆10下方,因为区域A1位于货厢14的底板22的垂直下方。区域A2也位于该车辆10的下方。区域A2位于车辆10下方,因为区域A2位于牵引电池38的垂直下方。
车辆10包括热管理总成,所述热管理总成尤其用于管理牵引电池38的热能水平。管理热能水平可以促进牵引电池38的有效操作。热管理总成的一个部件为热交换模块54。
现在参考图3,同时继续参考图1和图2,流体从牵引电池38沿着路径P1移动到热交换模块54。沿着路径P1移动的流体可以为液体冷却剂,所述液体冷却剂在沿着路径P1移动之前循环通过牵引电池38,其中利用来自牵引电池38的热能加热流体。空气沿着路径P2移动到热交换模块54。
在热交换模块54内,在流体和空气之间交换热能。在该示例中,流体为水。因此,热交换模块54为液体到空气热交换模块。
通常,热交换模块54是指热管理总成模块,其中热能在流体和空气之间交换。交换可以包括热能从流体传递到空气,这使流体冷却。交换可以包括热能从空气传递到流体,这使空气冷却。
在该示例中,流体由热交换模块54内的空气冷却。热交换模块54可以包括管束,用于使流体传送穿过热交换模块54。在管束上方传递空气(其在该示例中为空气流)。在热交换模块54内,来自通过管束传送的热能从流体传递到空气。
然后,已经在热交换模块54处冷却的流体可以沿着路径P3移回到牵引电池38。已经由流体在热交换模块54处加热的空气沿着路径P4离开热交换模块54。
出于本公开的目的,热交换模块54被描述为用于管理纯电动车辆的牵引电池38的热能水平。包括牵引电池38的车辆可以替代地为混合动力电动车辆(HEV)、插电式混合动力电动车辆(PHEV)或另一类型的电动车辆。热交换模块54可以用于管理除牵引电池之外的部件的热能水平,诸如用于后轴冷却。在这样的示例中,热交换模块54可以用在不包括牵引电池的传统车辆中。
在示例性非限制性实施例中,热交换模块54靠近前壁30设置在货厢14的前部。热交换模块54包括在单个模块化封装内的两个冷却冷凝器。单独的管束与冷却冷凝器中的每一个相关联。
图4示出了货厢14的底板22下方的区域。如图所示,入口导管58和出口导管62开向底板22下方的区域。在示例性实施例中,入口导管58和出口导管62各自从热交换模块54穿过货厢14的底板22向下延伸到车辆10下方的区域。
入口导管58被配置为将空气从底板22下方的区域输送到热交换模块54。出口导管62被配置为将空气从热交换模块54输送到底板22下方的区域。入口导管58中的一个和出口导管62中的一个将空气输送到冷却冷凝器中的一个以及将空气从冷却冷凝器中的一个输送出去。入口导管58中的另一个和出口导管62中的另一个将空气输送到冷却冷凝器中的另一个以及将空气从冷却冷凝器中的另一个输送出去。
在该示例中,入口导管58开向底板22中的相应开口,所述开口位于热交换模块54正下方。类似地,出口导管62开向底板22中的相应开口,所述开口位于热交换模块54正下方。
在另一示例中,入口导管58和出口导管62中的一个或多个开向开口,所述开口针对热交换模块54的一侧横向地间隔开、在热交换模块54的后面间隔开或者在热交换模块54的前部间隔开。然而,在这些位置,入口导管58和出口导管62仍然穿过货厢14的底板22延伸到车辆10下方的区域。
为了使空气移动穿过入口导管58和出口导管62,热交换模块54可以包括至少一个风扇74。在该示例中,至少一个风扇74设置在热交换模块54内。风扇74可以位于在流体和空气之间交换热能之处的上游。在这个示例中,风扇74用于推动空气穿过热交换模块54。风扇74可以位于在流体和空气之间交换热能之处的下游。在这个示例中,风扇74用于拉动空气穿过热交换模块54。风扇74还可以包括上游风扇和下游风扇的组合。
一个或多个泵78可以用于使第一冷却剂沿着路径P1移动到热交换模块54以及沿着路径P3从热交换模块54移动出去。泵78可以在车辆10的另一区域中包装在热交换模块54的外部。
控制器模块82可以并入在车辆10内,以选择性地激活风扇74、泵78或这两者。控制器模块82可以为微控制器单元(MCU)。控制器模块82可以包括单个控制器模块,或者多个不同控制器模块的选定的部分。控制器模块82可以为或可以包括车辆10的发动机控制单元(ECU)。
控制器模块82尤其可以包括处理器和存储器部分。所述处理器可以被编程为执行存储在存储器部分中的程序。所述处理器可以为定制的或商业上可用的处理器、中央处理单元(CPU)、与控制器模块82相关联的若干处理器中的辅助处理器、基于半导体的微处理器(以微芯片或芯片组的形式)或通常用于执行软件指令的任何设备。
存储器部分可以包括易失性存储器元件中的任一个或组合。程序可以作为软件代码存储在存储器部分中,并且可以用于选择性地激活风扇74、泵78或这两者。所述程序可以包括一个或多个附加的或单独的程序,所述程序中的每一个都包括用于实现与命令风扇74和泵78相关联的逻辑功能的可执行指令的有序列表。
在示例性非限制性实施例中,控制器模块82评估需要冷却牵引电池38。所述评估可以基于例如来自与牵引电池38相关联的温度传感器的温度读数。例如,当车辆10拖曳负载时,牵引电池38可以变热并需要冷却。
为了开始冷却牵引电池38,控制器模块82可以命令风扇74激活以通过入口58从底板22下方吸入空气。控制器模块82还可以激活泵78以使流体移动到热交换模块54。
在示例性实施例中,热交换模块54设置在货厢14内。在另一示例中,热交换模块54可以定位在车辆10的乘客舱18和前壁30之间。
来自热交换模块54的入口导管58和出口导管62开向车辆10下方的区域。这种定位隐藏入口导管58和出口导管62的开口,并确保可以在传递通过热交换模块54之后进行加热的空气不被引导到货厢14中。
示例性实施例的特征可以包括将热管理系统的热交换模块封装在货厢内或附近,并使空气从车辆下方的区域移动到热交换模块以及从热交换模块移动出去。另一个特征是在热交换模块处在流体和空气之间交换热能。空气从车辆下方的区域吸入到热交换模块,空气从热交换模块分送到车辆下方的区域。
使热交换模块的入口和热交换模块的出口开向车辆下方的区域减少了入口和出口的视觉冲击。此外,加热的空气不会被排放到货厢中,这可能是令人反感的。
前面的描述是示例性的而不是限制性的。对于本领域技术人员而言,对所公开的示例的变化和修改可以变得显而易见,这不一定脱离本公开的本质。因此,赋予本公开的法律保护的范围仅可通过研究随附权利要求来确定。

Claims (15)

1.一种车辆总成,其包括:
热交换模块,所述热交换模块管理牵引电池的热能水平;
入口导管,所述入口导管被配置为将空气从车辆下方的区域吸入到所述热交换模块;以及
出口导管,所述出口导管被配置为将空气从所述热交换模块分送到所述车辆下方的所述区域。
2.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其中所述热交换模块为液体到空气热交换模块。
3.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其还包括风扇,所述风扇使所述空气流传送穿过所述热交换模块,所述风扇设置在所述热交换模块内。
4.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其还包括泵,所述泵将流体移动到所述热交换模块,所述泵设置在所述热交换模块的外部。
5.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其中所述热交换模块设置在所述车辆的货厢内,并且可选地,其中所述入口导管和所述出口导管各自从所述热交换模块穿过所述货厢的底板向下延伸到所述车辆下方的所述区域。
6.如权利要求5所述的车辆总成,其中所述热交换模块不向所述货厢排放空气,并且可选地,其中所述车辆为皮卡车。
7.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其中所述热交换模块设置在所述货厢的前壁和所述车辆的乘客舱之间。
8.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其中所述入口导管为第一入口导管,所述出口导管为第二出口导管,并且所述车辆总成还包括第二入口导管和第二出口导管,所述第一入口导管和所述第一出口导管被配置为将空气传送到所述热交换模块的第一冷却冷凝器以及将所述空气从所述第一冷却冷凝器传送出去,所述第二入口导管和所述第二出口导管被配置为将空气传送到所述热交换模块的第二冷凝器以及将所述空气从所述第二冷凝器传送出去。
9.如权利要求1所述的车辆总成,其中所述入口导管开向位于所述热交换模块垂直下方的开口,并且所述出口导管开向位于所述热交换模块垂直下方的开口。
10.一种热管理方法,其包括:
为了管理车辆的牵引电池内的热能,在热交换模块处在流体和空气之间交换热能,所述空气从所述车辆下方的区域吸入到所述热交换模块,所述空气从所述热交换模块分送到所述车辆下方的所述区域。
11.如权利要求10所述的热管理方法,其还包括利用来自所述牵引电池的热能加热所述流体,并使用所述空气在所述热交换模块处冷却所述流体,并且可选地,其中所述流体为液体。
12.如权利要求10所述的热管理方法,其还包括使用设置在所述热交换模块内的风扇使所述空气移动穿过所述热交换模块。
13.如权利要求10所述的热管理方法,其还包括使用设置在所述热交换模块外部的泵使所述流体移动穿过所述热交换模块。
14.如权利要求10所述的热管理方法,其中所述热交换模块设置在货厢内,并且所述区域位于所述货厢的底板下方。
15.如权利要求10所述的热管理方法,其中所述热交换模块设置在货厢的前壁和所述车辆的乘客舱之间。
