The trap-type gill net catching device of claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein the catching device further comprises corresponding side guide wheels arranged on the deck of the catching boat, the side guide wheels being close to the side of the catching boat, the bait attaching rope passing up around the side guide wheels of each catching boat.
