When the sorting device is used, strip-shaped materials are firstly placed in the storage bin 1, and the storage bin 1 is a storage device and used for storing the materials to be sorted. When the sorting is started, the variable frequency motor drives the feeding wheel 2 to rotate, sorted materials are taken out of the storage bin 1 along with the ribs of the feeding wheel, and are scattered on the speed-regulating conveying belt 3. The feeding speed is controlled by a variable frequency motor. Sorted materials are sent into the stroking hopper 4 through the speed-regulating conveying belt 3, the sorted materials can be further dispersed through the control of the conveying speed of the speed-regulating conveying belt 3, and the sorted materials are not overlapped in a crossed manner but in a disordered direction after being dispersed.
After the speed-regulating conveying belt 3 conveys the materials into the smoothing hopper 4, the materials fall under the action of gravity. Because the stroking hopper 4 is designed into a V-groove shape, the materials are arranged in the length direction of the groove channel. The vibrating motor 6 is arranged on the outer side of the stroking hopper 4, the vibrating motor 6 is started, the falling efficiency of materials is improved, and meanwhile the material clamping can be prevented. All the materials flowing out of the stroking hopper 4 are parallel to the direction of the trough in the length direction. The width of the 4V groove of the stroking hopper is set according to the diameter and the length of the material, the width of the 4V groove is larger than the maximum diameter of the material and smaller than the minimum length of the material, and the width is usually 2-10mm larger than the maximum diameter of the material.
The material flows out of the stroking hopper 4 and falls between the rollers 7. The rolling rod moves rightwards under the action of the screw rod, the pitch of the four screw cylinders is gradually widened, and therefore the distance between the rolling rods 7 is also gradually increased. According to the diameter of the material, the material falls into different discharging bins from the space between the rolling rods 7. The movement of the sorting roller is driven by a roller movement control mechanism 5.
And the sorted materials flowing out of the discharging bin are loaded into a material frame or enter a subsequent process.
