The coating comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 20-70% of aqueous coating emulsion, 2-30% of water-induced color development pigment, 1-8% of cosolvent, 5-35% of filler, 0.5-5% of film-forming assistant, 0.5-3% of dispersing agent, 0.01-1% of defoaming agent, 0.01-1.5% of flatting agent, 0.02-3% of thickening agent, 0.03-3% of preservative and the balance of water. The water-based paint takes the water-induced color developing pigment as the color developing agent, has the performance of being colorless after being dried, developing color when meeting water, fading after being dried and dehydrated and developing color again by water after being dried, thereby realizing repeated writing on the wall surface coated with the paint by taking water as writing liquid. The coating can be used for teaching, training and board making for children doodling, and can ensure that the teaching environment is more environment-friendly, sanitary and healthy.
