Detailed Description
in order to further understand the objects, structures, features and functions of the present invention, the following embodiments are described in detail.
Certain terms are used throughout the description and following claims to refer to particular components. As one of ordinary skill in the art will appreciate, manufacturers may refer to a component by different names. The present specification and claims do not intend to distinguish between components that differ in name but not function. In the following description and in the claims, the terms "include" and "comprise" are used in an open-ended fashion, and thus should be interpreted to mean "include, but not limited to.
Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an article management system 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 2 is a functional block diagram of a first data processing device 12 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the article management system 1 includes a first storage cabinet 10 and a first data processing device 12, wherein the first storage cabinet 10 and the first data processing device 12 are both disposed in a first location S1. In practical applications, the first location S1 may be a convenience store or other location providing home delivery services.
The first storage cabinet 10 includes a plurality of first cells a1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2, wherein the size of the first cells C1-C2 may be larger than the size of the first cells B1-B4, and the size of the first cells B1-B4 may be larger than the size of the first cells a 1-A8. It should be noted that the size of the first storage cell can be set according to practical applications, and is not limited to the embodiment shown in the drawings.
In this embodiment, at least one of the first cells a1-A8, B1-B4, and C1-C2 may have a movable structure, wherein the movable structure is used to adjust the space of the at least one of the first cells. As shown in fig. 1, the first cell C1 may have a movable structure 100 and the first cell C2 may have a movable structure 102, wherein the movable structure 100 may comprise two rotatable partitions 100a, 100b and the movable structure 102 may also comprise two rotatable partitions 102a, 102 b. As shown in the first storage compartment C1 of fig. 1, the first storage compartment C1 may have a larger storage space when the two rotatable partitions 100a, 100b are opened with respect to each other. As shown in the first storage cell C2 of fig. 1, when the two rotatable partitions 102a and 102b are closed relatively, the first storage cell C2 can be divided into two first storage cells C2-1 and C2-2 with smaller storage space. Therefore, the space of the first storage cells C1, C2 can be adjusted by the movable structures 100, 102 of the present invention to store articles with different sizes, thereby increasing the flexibility of the first storage cells C1, C2.
as shown in FIG. 2, the first data processing apparatus 12 includes a first processor 120 and a first database 122. In this embodiment, the first data processing device 12 can be a cash register, a tablet computer, a server or other electronic devices with data processing functions.
When a sender or a forwarder transports the item 20 to the first location S1 for storage, the crew 30 at the first location S1 may store the item 20 in a first target storage cell C1 of the plurality of first storage cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2. It should be noted that, when any first storage cell has an article stored therein, the first storage cell is the first target storage cell defined by the present invention. Then, the worker 30 can operate the first data processing device 12 to set the identification code of the article 20 and input the number of the first target cell C1. At this time, the first processor 120 of the first data processing apparatus 12 records the first corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the first target cell C1 (e.g., the corresponding relationship between the identification code of the article 20 and the number of the first target cell C1) in the first database 122. In practical applications, the first corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the first target cell C1 can be recorded in the look-up table of the first database 122. In addition, first database 122 may further record corresponding information, such as region, city, location number, bin number, or other information, for each of first bins A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 to facilitate a sender and/or taker in querying the storage location of item 20.
In this embodiment, each of the first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 may have a notification unit 104, respectively, wherein the notification unit 104 may be in communication with the first data processing apparatus 12. Therefore, when the object 20 is stored in the first target cell C1, the first processor 120 of the first data processing apparatus 12 can output a control signal to control the prompting unit 104 of the first target cell C1 to issue a prompting message. In this embodiment, the prompt unit 104 may be a light source (e.g., a light emitting diode), and the prompt information may be light emitted by the light source. In another embodiment, the prompt unit 104 may be a display, and the prompt message may be an image displayed by the display.
for example, when the pick-up person or the cargo man arrives at the first location S1 to notify the staff 30 to pick up the article 20, the staff 30 can operate the first data processing device 12 to input the identification code of the article 20. At this time, the first processor 120 of the first data processing apparatus 12 controls the prompting unit 104 of the first target cell C1 to issue the prompting message according to the first corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the first target cell C1. Therefore, the worker 30, the pick-up person or the freight person can quickly find the first target storage cell C1 for storing the article 20 according to the prompt message, so as to improve the pick-up efficiency.
In addition, the first data processing apparatus 12 may further include a first display 124. When the worker 30 operates the first data processing device 12 to input the identification code of the article 20, the first processor 120 of the first data processing device 12 may also control the first display 124 to display information (e.g., the number of the first target cell C1) related to the first target cell C1 according to the first corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the first target cell C1. Therefore, the worker 30, the pickup person or the freight person can quickly find the first target storage cell C1 for storing the article 20 according to the information displayed on the first display 124, so as to improve the pickup efficiency.
After the article 20 is taken out from the first target cell C1, the worker 30 may operate the first data processing apparatus 12 to make the first processor 120 remove the first correspondence between the article 20 and the first target cell C1 from the first database 122 (for example, remove the correspondence between the identification code of the article 20 and the number of the first target cell C1), so that the first target cell C1 is vacated for storing the next article.
In addition, the first processor 120 of the first data processing apparatus 12 can further determine whether the idle percentage of the first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 of the first storage cabinet 10 is lower than a predetermined percentage. It should be noted that, when the first storage compartment does not store the article, the first storage compartment is idle. For example, assuming that only 2 first cells among the 14 first cells a1-A8, B1-B4, and C1-C2 are not storing articles, the idle ratio of the first cells a1-A8, B1-B4, and C1-C2 of the first storage cabinet 10 is 1/7. Further, the predetermined ratio may be set according to practical applications, for example, 10%, 20%, 30%, etc.
When the first processor 120 determines that the idle rate of the first storage cells a1-A8, B1-B4, and C1-C2 is lower than the predetermined rate, it indicates that the storage space of the first storage cabinet 10 is about to be used up. At this time, the first processor 120 may further determine whether the articles 20 stored in the first target storage cell C1 meet the predetermined condition. When the first processor 120 determines that the article 20 stored in the first target storage compartment C1 meets the predetermined condition, the first processor 120 may send a notification message (e.g., pickup newsletter) to the pickup person for the article 20 to remind the pickup person to pick up the article 20 as soon as possible, thereby releasing the storage space of the first storage cabinet 10.
In one embodiment, the predetermined condition may be that the article-taking duration of the article 20 is less than a predetermined time (e.g., one day, three days, etc.).
In another embodiment, the predetermined condition may be that the pickup time of the pickup person of the article 20 is less than a predetermined time (e.g., one day, three days, etc.). In this embodiment, the first processor 120 may record the pickup notification time of the pickup person and the actual pickup time in the first database 122 in advance. Then, the first processor 120 may calculate the historical pickup time of the pickup person according to the notification pickup time and the actual pickup time, and use the historical pickup time as the predetermined time. For example, the first processor 120 may calculate the difference time between the pickup time notified by the pickup each time and the actual pickup time, and then use the average time of all the difference times as the above-mentioned historical pickup time (i.e. the predetermined time).
In another embodiment, the predetermined condition may be payment for the item 20, including payment for delivery.
When the article 20 meets the predetermined condition, the person who takes the article 20 receives the notification message is more likely to take the article 20 as soon as possible. Therefore, the present invention can send a notification message to the pickup person for the articles meeting the predetermined condition to remind the pickup person to take the articles as soon as possible, thereby releasing the storage space of the first storage cabinet 10. Therefore, the utilization efficiency of the first storage cabinet 10 can be effectively improved.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a flowchart of an article management method according to an embodiment of the invention. The article management method in fig. 3 is applied to the article management system 1 in fig. 1. First, step S10 is executed to store article 20 in a first target cell C1 of the plurality of first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2. Next, step S12 is executed to record a first corresponding relationship between the item 20 and the first target cell C1. Next, step S14 is executed to cancel the first corresponding relationship between article 20 and first target cell C1 after article 20 is taken out from first target cell C1.
in another embodiment, when the object 20 is stored in the first target cell C1, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further control the prompting unit 104 of the first target cell C1 to issue a prompting message.
in another embodiment, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further determine whether the idle percentage of the first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 is lower than a predetermined percentage. When the idle rate of the first cells a1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 is lower than the predetermined rate, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further determine whether the objects 20 stored in the first target cell C1 meet the predetermined condition. When the article 20 stored in the first target storage cell C1 meets the predetermined condition, the article management method of the present invention may further send a notification message for the article 20.
It should be noted that the detailed embodiments of the article management method of the present invention are as described above, and are not described herein again. In addition, each part or function in the control logic of the article management method of the present invention can be realized through a combination of software and hardware.
Referring to fig. 4 and fig. 5, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram of an article management system 1' according to another embodiment of the present invention, and fig. 5 is a functional block diagram of the first data processing device 12 and the second data processing device 16 in fig. 4. The article management system 1 'is mainly different from the article management system 1 described above in that the article management system 1' further includes a second storage cabinet 14 and a second data processing device 16, as shown in fig. 4, both the second storage cabinet 14 and the second data processing device 16 are disposed in the second location S2. In practical applications, the first location S1 and the second location S2 may be two convenience stores located at different locations or other locations providing home delivery services. It should be noted that the operation principle of the first storage cabinet 10 and the first data processing apparatus 12 is as described above, and will not be described herein again.
The second storage cabinet 14 includes a plurality of second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2, wherein the size of the second cells F1-F2 may be larger than the size of the second cells E1-E4, and the size of the second cells E1-E4 may be larger than the size of the second cells D1-D8. It should be noted that the size of the second storage cell can be set according to practical applications, and is not limited to the embodiment shown in the drawings.
in this embodiment, at least one of the second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, and F1-F2 may have a movable structure, wherein the movable structure is used to adjust the space of the at least one of the second cells. As shown in fig. 4, the second storage compartment F1 may have a movable structure 140, and the second storage compartment F2 may have a movable structure 142, wherein the movable structure 140 may include two rotatable partitions 140a, 140b, and the movable structure 142 may include two rotatable partitions 142a, 142 b. As shown in the second storage compartment F1 of fig. 4, when the two rotatable partitions 140a and 140b are opened relatively, the second storage compartment F1 may have a large storage space. As shown in the second storage compartment F2 in fig. 4, when the two rotatable partitions 142a and 142b are closed relatively, the second storage compartment F2 can be divided into two second storage compartments F2-1 and F2-2 with smaller storage space. Therefore, the space of the second storage cells F1 and F2 can be adjusted by the movable structures 140 and 142 to store articles with different sizes, so that the use flexibility of the second storage cells F1 and F2 is increased.
As shown in FIG. 5, the second data processing apparatus 16 includes a second processor 160 and a second database 162. In this embodiment, the second data processing device 16 can be a cash register, a tablet computer, a server or other electronic devices with data processing functions.
In this embodiment, the sender may ship the item 20 to the first location S1 for receipt. It should be noted that the operation principle of the access of the articles 20 to the first storage cabinet 10 at the first location S1 is as described above, and will not be described herein again. The freight personnel may then transport item 20 from first location S1 to second location S2. Next, staff member 32 at second location S2 may store items 20 in a second target storage cell E4 of the plurality of second storage cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2. It should be noted that, when any second storage cell has an article, the second storage cell is the second target storage cell defined by the present invention. Subsequently, the operator 32 can operate the second data processing device 16 to set the identification code of the article 20 and input the number of the second target cell E4. At this time, the second processor 160 of the second data processing device 16 records the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4 (e.g., the corresponding relationship between the identification code of the article 20 and the number of the second target cell E4) in the second database 162. In practical applications, the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4 can be recorded in the look-up table of the second database 162. In addition, the second database 162 may further record corresponding information, such as region, city, location number, bin number, or other information, of each of the second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 to facilitate the sender and/or retriever to query the storage location of the item 20.
In another embodiment, the first data processing device 12 at the first site S1 and the second data processing device 16 at the second site S2 can communicate. Therefore, after the first data processing device 10 establishes the information (e.g., the size) of the article 20, the first data processing device 10 may transmit the information of the article 20 to the second data processing device 16 at the second location S2, so that the second processor 160 of the second data processing device 16 may establish the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target storage grid E4 in advance according to the information of the article 20 before the article 20 is transported to the second location S2. In practical applications, before article 20 is transported to second location S2, staff member 32 at second location S2 may pre-arrange second target cell E4 for storing article 20 according to information of article 20, and operate second data processing device 16 to pre-establish a second corresponding relationship between article 20 and second target cell E4.
In this embodiment, each of the second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 may have a prompt unit 144, respectively, wherein the prompt unit 144 may be in communication with the second data processing apparatus 16. Therefore, when the object 20 is stored in the second target cell E4, the second processor 160 of the second data processing apparatus 16 can output a control signal to control the prompting unit 144 of the second target cell E4 to issue a prompting message. In this embodiment, the prompting unit 144 can be a light source (e.g., a light emitting diode), and the prompting information can be light emitted by the light source. In another embodiment, the prompt unit 144 may also be a display, and the prompt information may be an image displayed by the display.
For example, when the pick-up arrives at the second location S2 and informs the worker 32 that the article 20 is to be picked up, the worker 32 may operate the second data processing device 16 to input the identification code of the article 20. At this time, the second processor 160 of the second data processing device 16 controls the prompting unit 144 of the second target cell E4 to send out the prompting message according to the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4. Therefore, the worker 32 or the pick-up person can quickly find the second target storage cell E4 for storing the article 20 according to the prompt message, so as to improve the pick-up efficiency.
in addition, the second data processing device 16 may further include a second display 164. When the operator 32 operates the second data processing device 16 to input the identification code of the article 20, the second processor 160 of the second data processing device 16 can also control the second display 164 to display information (e.g., the number of the second target cell E4) related to the second target cell E4 according to the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4. Therefore, the worker 32 or the pick-up person can quickly find the second target storage cell E4 for storing the article 20 according to the information displayed by the second display 164, so as to improve the pick-up efficiency.
After the article 20 is taken out from the second target cell E4, the worker 32 can operate the second data processing device 16 to make the second processor 160 cancel the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4 from the second database 162 (for example, delete the corresponding relationship between the identification code of the article 20 and the number of the second target cell E4), so that the second target cell E4 is vacated for storing the next article.
In addition, the second processor 160 of the second data processing apparatus 16 can further determine whether the idle rate of the plurality of first cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 in the second storage cabinet 14 is lower than a predetermined rate. It should be noted that, when the second storage compartment does not store the article, the second storage compartment is idle. For example, assuming that only 3 of the 14 second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, and F1-F2 are not storing articles, the idle ratio of the plurality of second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, and F1-F2 in the second storage cabinet 14 is 3/14. Further, the predetermined ratio may be set according to practical applications, for example, 10%, 20%, 30%, etc.
when the second processor 160 determines that the idle rate of the plurality of second storage compartments D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 is lower than the predetermined rate, it indicates that the storage space of the second storage cabinet 14 is about to be used up. At this time, the second processor 160 may further determine whether the articles 20 stored in the second target storage compartment E4 meet the predetermined condition. When the second processor 160 determines that the article 20 stored in the second target compartment E4 meets the predetermined condition, the second processor 160 may send a notification message (e.g., pickup newsletter) to the pickup person for the article 20 to accelerate the pickup person to pick up the article 20, thereby releasing the storage space of the second storage cabinet 14.
in one embodiment, the predetermined condition may be that the article-taking duration of the article 20 is less than a predetermined time (e.g., one day, three days, etc.).
In another embodiment, the predetermined condition may be that the pickup time of the pickup person of the article 20 is less than a predetermined time (e.g., one day, three days, etc.). In this embodiment, the second processor 160 may record the pickup time notified by the pickup person and the actual pickup time in the second database 162 in advance. Then, the second processor 160 calculates the historical pickup time of the pickup person according to the notice pickup time and the actual pickup time, and takes the historical pickup time as the predetermined time. For example, the second processor 160 may calculate the difference between the pickup time notified by the pickup person each time and the actual pickup time, and then use the average time of all the difference as the above-mentioned historical pickup time (i.e. the predetermined time).
In another embodiment, the predetermined condition may be payment of the item 20 including payment of a delivery.
When the article 20 meets the predetermined condition, the article 20 taker is more likely to take the article 20 as soon as possible after receiving the notification message. Therefore, the present invention can send a notification message to the pickup person for the articles meeting the predetermined condition to remind the pickup person to take the articles as soon as possible, thereby releasing the storage space of the second storage cabinet 14. Therefore, the utilization efficiency of the second storage cabinet 14 can be effectively improved.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a flowchart of an article management method according to another embodiment of the invention. The article management method in fig. 6 is applied to the article management system 1' in fig. 4. First, step S30 is executed to store article 20 in a first target cell C1 of the plurality of first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2. Next, step S32 is executed to record the first corresponding relationship between the object 20 and the first target cell C1. Next, step S34 is executed to cancel the first corresponding relationship between article 20 and first target cell C1 after article 20 is taken out from first target cell C1. Next, step S36 is executed to transport item 20 from first location S1 to second location S2. Next, step S38 is executed to store the item 20 in a second target cell E4 of the plurality of second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2. Then, step S40 is executed to record a second corresponding relationship between the item 20 and the second target cell E4. Next, step S42 is executed to cancel the second corresponding relationship between article 20 and second target cell E4 after article 20 is taken out from second target cell E4.
In another embodiment, before the article 20 is transported to the second location S2, the article management method of the present invention may pre-establish the second corresponding relationship between the article 20 and the second target cell E4 according to the information (e.g., article size) of the article 20.
In another embodiment, when the object 20 is stored in the first target cell C1, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further control the prompting unit 104 of the first target cell C1 to issue a prompting message. Similarly, when the article 20 is stored in the second target cell E4, the article management method of the present invention may further control the prompting unit 144 of the second target cell E4 to send a prompting message.
in another embodiment, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further determine whether the idle percentage of the first cells A1-A8, B1-B4, C1-C2 is lower than a predetermined percentage. Similarly, the method for managing goods of the present invention can further determine whether the idle rate of the plurality of second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 is lower than a predetermined rate. When the idle rate of the second cells D1-D8, E1-E4, F1-F2 is lower than the predetermined rate, the method for managing objects of the present invention can further determine whether the objects 20 stored in the second target cell E4 meet the predetermined condition. When the article 20 stored in the second target storage compartment E4 meets the predetermined condition, the article management method of the present invention may further send a notification message for the article 20.
It should be noted that the detailed embodiments of the article management method of the present invention are as described above, and are not described herein again. In addition, each part or function in the control logic of the article management method of the present invention can be realized through a combination of software and hardware.
In summary, when the articles are stored in the storage cells of the storage cabinet, the present invention records the corresponding relationship between the articles and the storage cells in the database. Therefore, the related personnel (such as the staff, the pickup person or the freight carrier) can quickly find the storage cell for storing the article according to the corresponding relationship between the article and the storage cell, so as to improve the pickup efficiency. After the article is taken out of the storage grid, the corresponding relation between the article and the storage grid is cancelled, so that the storage grid is vacated to store the next article. In addition, when the idle rate of the storage grid is lower than the predetermined rate, the storage space of the storage cabinet is about to be used up. At the moment, the invention can send out the notice information to the pickup person aiming at the articles meeting the preset conditions so as to remind the pickup person to take the articles as soon as possible and further release the storage space of the storage cabinet. Therefore, the service efficiency of the storage cabinet can be effectively improved.
the present invention has been described in relation to the above embodiments, which are only exemplary of the implementation of the present invention. It should be noted that the disclosed embodiments do not limit the scope of the invention. Rather, it is intended that all such modifications and variations be included within the spirit and scope of this invention.
