Background
Some of the instruments used in the treatment in hospitals are disposable, and some require reuse. The reused instrument requires a sterilization process before reuse in order to avoid cross-infection. Sterilization is generally performed by immersing the instrument in sterile water for a predetermined period of time, and insufficient time may not be sufficient for complete sterilization. When the plug is used, firstly, when the plug is kept in the state of the first through hole, the basket filled with the instruments to be disinfected is put into the upper cylinder and is supported on the inner edge; then adding disinfectant into the upper cylinder until the liquid level is flush with the disinfectant water line of the upper cylinder, and covering the upper cylinder with a cover.
Then, opening an upper side plug of the side cylinder, adding clear water into the side cylinder in a state that the lower side plug seals the manifold, enabling the water level of the clear water to be flush with a water level line on the side cylinder, and then covering the upper side plug; the manifold is completely opened by downwards moving the lower side plug through the handle, water in the side cylinder continuously flows into the bucket body through the manifold, the downward pulling force of the bucket body on the plug is also larger and larger, after the preset disinfection time passes, the water in the bucket body pulls out the plug from the first through hole, disinfectant in the upper cylinder flows into the lower cylinder through the first through hole, and instruments in the upper cylinder are not soaked any more. Over time, the instruments in the upper cartridge may also become dry.
When the waste liquid in the lower cylinder needs to be cleaned, the drain plug of the lower cylinder is opened, and the disinfectant in the lower cylinder is discharged.
