As shown in fig. 3, the apparatus mainly includes: a determining module 301, configured to determine, in response to a call request sent by a first terminal, that a service connection of a first session is suspended, where the first session is a session established between a first application installed in the first terminal and an application installed in a second terminal, and the call request includes an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal, and an identifier of the first session; a signaling establishing module 302, configured to determine, according to the identifier of the user plane functional entity, that the first terminal and the third terminal establish a signaling connection of a second session; a recovery module 303, configured to recover a service connection of the first session; the three-party session establishing module 304 is configured to determine, according to the signaling connection between the first session and the second session, that the first terminal, the second terminal, and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session.
A fourth embodiment of the present invention relates to a device for establishing a three-party session, and for specific implementation of the device, reference may be made to the related description of the second embodiment, and repeated descriptions are omitted here. It should be noted that the specific implementation of the apparatus in this embodiment is not limited to the above embodiment, and other undescribed embodiments are also within the scope of the apparatus.
As shown in fig. 4, the apparatus mainly includes: a first session establishing module 401, configured to establish a first session between a first application program in a first terminal and an application program in a second terminal; a second session establishing module 402, configured to send a service suspension request to the first application program if it is determined that the second application program in the first terminal sends a call request to the third terminal, where the call request is forwarded by the session management entity, and the call request is used to establish a signaling connection of a second session with the third terminal; a suspend first session service connection module 403, configured to determine that a service connection of the first session is suspended in response to a suspend service response returned by the first application; wherein, the conversation management entity comprises: a determining module 301, configured to determine, in response to a call request sent by a first terminal, that a service connection of a first session is suspended, where the first session is a session established between a first application installed in the first terminal and an application installed in a second terminal, and the call request includes an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal, and an identifier of the first session; a signaling establishing module 302, configured to determine, according to the identifier of the user plane functional entity, that the first terminal and the third terminal establish a signaling connection of a second session; a recovery module 303, configured to recover a service connection of the first session; the three-party session establishing module 304 is configured to determine, according to the signaling connection between the first session and the second session, that the first terminal, the second terminal, and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session.
It should be noted that each module referred to in this embodiment is a logical module, and in practical applications, one logical unit may be one physical unit, may be a part of one physical unit, and may be implemented by a combination of multiple physical units. In addition, in order to highlight the innovative part of the present invention, elements that are not so closely related to solving the technical problems proposed by the present invention are not introduced in the present embodiment, but this does not indicate that other elements are not present in the present embodiment.
A fourth embodiment of the present invention relates to a three-party session establishment system, as shown in fig. 5, the system specifically includes: a session management entity 504, a user plane management entity 502, a first terminal 503, a second terminal 501 and a third terminal 505; a first application program in the first terminal 503 establishes a connection of a first session with an application program in the second terminal 501 through the user plane management entity 502 and a video server corresponding to the application program in the second terminal 501, a third terminal 505 establishes a connection of a second session with a second application program in the first terminal 503 through the session management entity 504, and service data of both the first session and the second session pass through the user plane management entity 502.
A session management entity 504 for executing the method of establishing a three-party session in the first or second embodiment; the user plane management entity 502 is configured to receive a three-way session establishment request sent by the session management entity 504, where the three-way session establishment request includes: an identity of a three-party session, an identity of a first session and an identity of a second session; establishing a three-party session according to the three-party session establishment request, and sending a three-party session establishment response to the session management entity 504; the first terminal 503 is configured to interact with a video server corresponding to an application program in the second terminal 501, determine a connection state of a first session, and obtain a media type negotiation result of the first session; interacting with the session management entity 504 to determine to establish a connection for the second session with the third terminal 505.
In one specific implementation, as shown in fig. 6, the system specifically includes: an application in the second terminal 501, a video server 506, a user plane management entity (UPF)502, a first application 5031 in the first terminal 503, a second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, a session management entity (SMF)504, a core network 507 and a third terminal 505 in a fifth generation communication network.
In step 601, the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 used by the first user and the application in the second terminal 501 used by the second user are performing an audio-video call based on the application (e.g., WeChat, QQ, etc.). Since the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 currently employs a data connection based on a mobile communication network, the service data of the audio/video call is forwarded via the user plane function 502.
In step 602, if the first user using the first terminal 503 wishes to join a third user using the third terminal 505 into a call, and thus form a three-way call, the first user needs to send a request for establishing a second session to the third terminal 505 (for example, dialing a phone number of the third terminal 505) through the second application 5032 (for example, a phone dial of the first terminal 503) in the first terminal 503.
The second session request includes a three-party session identifier to mark a communication mode in which a three-party session is to be formed, and the third terminal 505 may be a standard 5G phone terminal.
In one particular implementation, when the first user uses the dial of the first terminal 503 to attempt to establish a three-way call, the call to the action interface path is typically: and tapping the current call interface to call out an operation button group, wherein the operation button group comprises a button for initiating the three-party call. Clicking the 'initiate three-party call' button to present an 'opposite-end user type' option. The method comprises the steps of selecting 'ordinary telephone', clicking 'ordinary telephone' and displaying 'telephone dial'.
In step 603, the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 sends a service connection request for suspending the first session to the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503, and simultaneously negotiates with the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 to determine the media protocol type supported by the first terminal 503.
It should be noted that the service connection request for suspending the first session is initiated by the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, but not by the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503, so as to synchronize the operation states of the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 and the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503.
In step 604, after receiving the request for suspending the current call from the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 interacts with the video communication server and the application in the second terminal 501 to complete the suspension of the audio/video call based on the application.
After the suspend operation is completed, the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 sends a media protocol negotiation request to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 in step 605, the media protocol negotiation request including one or more five tuples. According to the received media protocol negotiation response, a media type negotiation result is obtained, where the media type negotiation result includes media protocol types supported by the first terminal 503, for example, a protocol type of a transport layer or a protocol type of signaling.
Wherein, since the first session uses a bidirectional media stream, a plurality of quintuples may exist at the same time. For example: a transport quintuple a (address of the first application, port number of the first application, address of the second application, port number of the second application, protocol type of transport layer), or a signaling quintuple B (address of the first application, port number of the first application, address of the second application, port number of the second application, protocol type of signaling).
In step 606, the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 sends a call request to the third terminal 505.
Wherein the call request includes: an identification of the UPF, an identification of the third terminal 505 and an identification of the first session.
In step 607, the SMF first marks the call request as a three-way call request across systems, generates an identifier of a three-way session, and stores related information included in the call request in step 606, where the call request further includes the identifier of the three-way session.
In step 608, the SMF finds a corresponding UPF according to the identifier of the first session, and sends a media type negotiation result to the UPF. Wherein, the media type negotiation result includes a five-tuple in step 605, and the five-tuple includes: the address of the first terminal 503, the port number of the first terminal 503, the address of the second terminal 501, the port number of the second terminal 501, the protocol type of the transport layer or the protocol type of the signaling.
In step 609, the SMF forwards the call request in step 606 to the third terminal 505 through the core network 507 in the fifth generation communication network, so that the third terminal 505 returns a call response after receiving the call request, determines that the signaling connection of the second session has been established between the first terminal 503 and the third terminal 505, and determines that the service data of the second session is carried through the UPF corresponding to the first session according to the call response.
In step 610, the SMF returns a signaling connection status identifier of the second session to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, the signaling connection status identifier being used to identify that a signaling connection of the second session is established, i.e. the third terminal 505 is accessed.
In step 611, the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 forwards the signaling connection status identifier in step 610 to the first application 5031.
In step 612, the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 sends a service connection request to the video server 506 to resume the first session.
In step 613, the video server 506 interacts with the application program in the second terminal 501, so that the service connection of the first session is restored.
In step 614, the video server 506 returns a service connection status message to the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503, the service connection status message includes the service connection identifier of the first session, and it is determined that the service connection of the first session is recovered according to the service connection identifier of the first session.
In step 615, the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 forwards the service connection status message in step 614 to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, confirming that the service connection of the first session is restored.
In step 616, the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 forwards the service connection status message to the SMF, confirming that the service connection for the first session is restored.
In step 617, the SMF notifies the UPF to establish a three-way session based on the five-tuple obtained in step 606 when the first session was conducted and the identifier of the first session. And requires the UPF to redirect the service data of the first session from the first application 5031 in the first terminal 503 to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503.
In step 618, the UPF sends a three-way session establishment response to the SMF.
In step 619, the SMF sends a ringing message to the third terminal 505 via the core network 507 in the fifth generation communication network. The third terminal 505 rings and goes off-hook to determine that the service connection for the second session is established.
In step 620, the SMF returns the completion of the three-way session establishment to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503.
In step 621, the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503, the third terminal 505 and the application in the second terminal 501 perform a three-way call, and the service data of the three-way call is processed through the UPF.
It should be noted that the audio data or the video data sent by the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 is processed by the UPF and forwarded to the third terminal 505 and the application in the second terminal 501. And the audio data or video data sent by the third terminal 505 is processed by the UPF and simultaneously forwarded to the second application 5032 in the first terminal 503 and the application in the second terminal 501. The audio data or the video data sent by the application program in the second terminal 501 is processed by the UPF and is simultaneously forwarded to the second application program 5032 in the first terminal 503 and the third terminal 505.
In the present embodiment, the operation states of the second application program in the first terminal and the first application program in the first terminal are synchronized by suspending the service connection of the established first session; thereby enabling the second application in the first terminal to send a call request to the third terminal in preparation for establishing the three-way session. After receiving a call request sent by a first terminal, a session management entity determines that service connection of a first session established by an application program installed in the first terminal and an application program installed in a second terminal is suspended, and obtains a user plane function entity corresponding to the first session; then, according to the identification of the user plane functional entity, a second application program in the first terminal establishes signaling connection of a second session with a third terminal, and after the service connection of the first session is recovered, service data of the first session and the second session pass through the user plane functional entity corresponding to the first session; and then, the UPF is used for processing the service data of the first session and the second session, so that the three-party session is established between two users using the application program installed in the mobile terminal and a third user directly using the mobile terminal, and the customer experience is improved.
It will be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments taken to illustrate the principles of the present invention, which is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the invention, and these modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the invention.

Claims (9)

1. A method for establishing a three-party session, the method comprising:
responding to a call request sent by a first terminal, and determining that service connection of a first session is suspended, wherein the first session is established between a first application program installed in the first terminal and an application program installed in a second terminal, and the call request comprises an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal and an identifier of the first session;
according to the identification of the user plane functional entity, determining that a second application program in the first terminal establishes signaling connection of a second session with a third terminal;
restoring the service connection of the first session;
according to the signaling connection of the first session and the second session, determining that the first terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session;
the step of determining that the first terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session according to the signaling connection of the first session and the second session comprises:
sending a three-party session establishment request to the user plane functional entity, wherein the three-party session establishment request comprises: an identity of the three-party session, an identity of the first session, and an identity of the second session;
responding to a successful three-party session establishment response returned by the user plane functional entity, and sending a service connection request for establishing the second session to the third terminal;
and responding to a service connection success response returned by the third terminal, and determining that the three-party session is successfully established.
2. The method for establishing a three-party session according to claim 1, wherein the step of determining, according to the identifier of the user plane function entity, that the second application program in the first terminal establishes a signaling connection for the second session with the third terminal includes:
forwarding the call request to the third terminal;
and responding to a call response returned by the third terminal, and determining that the first terminal establishes a signaling connection of the second session with the third terminal, wherein the call response comprises a service identifier, and the service identifier is used for indicating that service data of the second session is carried by the user plane functional entity.
3. The method for establishing a three-way session according to claim 1, wherein the call request further comprises:
a service connection state identifier of the first session;
the step of determining that the service connection of the first session is suspended in response to the call request sent by the first terminal includes:
and determining that the service connection of the first session is suspended according to the service connection state identifier.
4. The method for establishing a three-party session according to claim 3, wherein the step of resuming the service connection of the first session comprises:
sending a signaling connection state identifier of the second session to the first terminal, where the signaling connection state identifier is used to identify that a signaling connection of the second session is established;
and responding to a service connection state message returned by the first terminal, and determining that the service connection of the first session is recovered, wherein the state response message comprises a service connection identifier of the first session.
5. A method for establishing a three-party session is characterized by comprising the following steps:
a first session is established between a first application program in a first terminal and an application program in a second terminal;
if the second application program in the first terminal is determined to send a call request to a third terminal, sending a suspend service request to the first application program, wherein the call request is forwarded through a session management entity, and the call request is used for establishing signaling connection of a second session with the third terminal;
responding to a suspended service response returned by the first application program, and determining that the service connection of the first session is suspended;
wherein the session management entity is configured to:
responding to a call request sent by a first terminal, and determining that service connection of a first session is suspended, wherein the first session is established between a first application program installed in the first terminal and an application program installed in a second terminal, and the call request comprises an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal and an identifier of the first session;
according to the identification of the user plane functional entity, determining that a second application program in the first terminal establishes signaling connection of a second session with a third terminal;
restoring the service connection of the first session;
according to the signaling connection of the first session and the second session, determining that the first terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session;
the step of determining that the first terminal, the second terminal and the third terminal successfully establish the three-party session according to the signaling connection of the first session and the second session comprises:
sending a three-party session establishment request to the user plane functional entity, wherein the three-party session establishment request comprises: an identity of the three-party session, an identity of the first session, and an identity of the second session;
responding to a successful three-party session establishment response returned by the user plane functional entity, and sending a service connection request for establishing the second session to the third terminal;
and responding to a service connection success response returned by the third terminal, and determining that the three-party session is successfully established.
6. The method for establishing a three-party session according to claim 5, wherein after the step of determining that the service connection of the first session is suspended in response to the suspended service response returned by the first application, the method further comprises:
sending a media protocol negotiation request to the first application, the media protocol negotiation request including a quintuple, the quintuple including: the address of the first terminal, the port number of the first terminal, the address of the second terminal, the port number of the second terminal, the protocol type of a transport layer or the protocol type of signaling;
responding to a media protocol negotiation response returned by the first application program, and obtaining a media type negotiation result, wherein the media type negotiation result comprises: the protocol type of the transport layer used when the first session is performed, or the protocol type of the signaling, where the signaling includes media control signaling.
7. An apparatus for establishing a three-party session, comprising:
a determining module, configured to determine, in response to a call request sent by a first terminal, that a service connection of a first session is suspended, where the first session is a session established between a first application installed in the first terminal and an application installed in a second terminal, and the call request includes an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal, and an identifier of the first session;
a signaling establishing module, configured to determine, according to the identifier of the user plane functional entity, that a second application program in the first terminal establishes a signaling connection of a second session with a third terminal;
a recovery module, configured to recover a service connection of the first session;
a third party session establishing module, configured to determine, according to signaling connection between the first session and the second session, that the first terminal, the second terminal, and the third terminal successfully establish the third party session;
the three-party session establishing module executes the following steps:
sending a three-party session establishment request to the user plane functional entity, wherein the three-party session establishment request comprises: an identity of the three-party session, an identity of the first session, and an identity of the second session;
responding to a successful three-party session establishment response returned by the user plane functional entity, and sending a service connection request for establishing the second session to the third terminal;
and responding to a service connection success response returned by the third terminal, and determining that the three-party session is successfully established.
8. An apparatus for establishing a three-party session, comprising:
the first session establishing module is used for establishing a first session between a first application program in the first terminal and an application program in the second terminal;
a second session establishing module, configured to send a suspend service request to a first application program if it is determined that a second application program in the first terminal sends a call request to a third terminal, where the call request is forwarded by a session management entity, and the call request is used to establish a signaling connection of a second session with the third terminal;
a suspend first session service connection module, configured to determine that a service connection of the first session is suspended in response to a suspend service response returned by the first application;
wherein the session management entity comprises:
a determining module, configured to determine, in response to a call request sent by a first terminal, that a service connection of a first session is suspended, where the first session is a session established between a first application installed in the first terminal and an application installed in a second terminal, and the call request includes an identifier of a user plane function entity, an identifier of a three-party session, an identifier of a third terminal, and an identifier of the first session;
a signaling establishing module, configured to determine, according to the identifier of the user plane functional entity, that a second application program in the first terminal establishes a signaling connection of a second session with a third terminal;
a recovery module, configured to recover a service connection of the first session;
a third party session establishing module, configured to determine, according to signaling connection between the first session and the second session, that the first terminal, the second terminal, and the third terminal successfully establish the third party session;
the three-party session establishment module executes the following steps:
sending a three-party session establishment request to the user plane functional entity, wherein the three-party session establishment request comprises: an identity of the three-party session, an identity of the first session, and an identity of the second session;
responding to a successful three-party session establishment response returned by the user plane functional entity, and sending a service connection request for establishing the second session to the third terminal;
and responding to a service connection success response returned by the third terminal, and determining that the three-party session is successfully established.
9. A three-party call establishment system, comprising: the system comprises a session management entity, a user plane management entity, a first terminal, a second terminal and a third terminal;
a first application program in the first terminal establishes a connection of a first session with an application program in the second terminal through the user plane management entity and a video server corresponding to the application program in the second terminal, a third terminal establishes a connection of a second session with the second application program in the first terminal through the session management entity, and service data of the first session and the second session both pass through the user plane management entity;
the session management entity, configured to perform the method for establishing a three-party session according to any one of claims 1 to 4;
the user plane management entity is configured to receive a three-party session establishment request sent by the session management entity, where the three-party session establishment request includes: an identity of the three-party session, an identity of the first session, and an identity of the second session; establishing the three-party session according to the three-party session establishment request, and sending a three-party session establishment response to the session management entity;
first terminal for performing the method of establishing a three-way session according to claim 5 or 6.
