本发明涉及纳米级SiO2颗粒涂层在载水冷却系统中防止磨耗腐蚀和沉积的用途,以及借助于这种颗粒涂覆冷却水管/管道的方法。这种类型的涂层特别适用于水冷式火力发电厂的冷却系统。
火力发电厂的冷却水系统最通常使用从周围区域采集的地表水来运行,即使用河水和海水。由于冷却水中含有悬浮物质和溶解物质,这些发电厂和系统受到许多外部影响,特别是必须承受机械、化学和电化学应力。
由于冷却介质携带的固体颗粒,例如沙子,会遇到机械应力。化学应力源于冷却介质的性质,例如介质是否含有盐、碱性物质或酸性物质。在此特别提及用于冷却目的的海水或严重污染的河水的众所周知的腐蚀作用。
就此而言,电化学腐蚀或电偶腐蚀是指通过在金属界面上,特别是在管板和冷却剂管之间的过渡区域中形成电偶元件而发生的腐蚀危险,所述腐蚀通过诸如海水或含盐河水等导电流体而显著加强。
此外,存在由于冷却介质和待冷凝的蒸汽之间产生的温差而导致的热应力,温差可能远超100℃,并且导致机械应力,特别是在将冷却剂管卷入管板的区域中。此外,升高的温度可以增加酸、盐和其他溶解物质的腐蚀作用。
此外,由于管中不希望的物质的沉积、藻类形成等,导致蒸汽冷凝器的功能受到损害,这尤其被粗糙区域例如由腐蚀引起的粗糙区域促进。其结果是腐蚀和沉积现象不仅随着蒸汽冷凝器的运行时间而加速,而且由于已经存在的腐蚀和沉积起始点的数量不断增加,它们甚至更加恶化。
因此,在早期阶段努力为蒸汽冷凝器提供塑料材料的腐蚀抑制涂层。特别是,此时已经使用了基于环氧树脂的涂层。最初,主要为管板提供这样的涂层,但是这种方法不能解决与管内腐蚀和沉积的发生相关的具体问题。后来,还将涂层施加到管入口和出口区域,目的是保护这个特别危险的过渡区域。上述类型的措施可从例如GB-A-1 125 157、DE 1 939665 U、DE 7 702 562 U、EP 0 236 388 A以及EP 94 106 304 A中获知。
长期以来,冷却剂管的内部涂层由于管线相当长且直径小而引起问题,但是同时已经解决了这个问题。在这方面,可以参考WO 97/197058 A1和WO 2012/045466 A1。它们描述的装置能够通过受控的应用系统和特殊的涂层喷嘴将涂层施加到冷却剂管线的内壁上。
基于环氧树脂-胺硬化剂体系的涂层描述于例如WO 95/29375 A1中。
借助塑料材料的传统冷却水系统涂层原则上已经证明了自身,但是需要定期翻修。在许多情况下已经表明发生延伸到涂覆的冷却剂管的金属中的磨耗腐蚀,特别是当基于腐蚀性冷却水操作时。当存在有利的热条件时,也经常发生生物生长。此外,在相应污染的冷却水的情况下,也经常遇到矿物沉积。这意味着必须清洁和重新涂覆冷却剂管。特别是,已知的塑料化合物不适合长时间承受磨耗腐蚀。
因此,需要以这样的方式涂覆载水冷却系统,特别是冷却剂管,以使得它们具有更长的使用寿命并且提供更好的防止磨耗腐蚀和防止沉积的保护。特别是,这种涂层不应过分损害涂层所施加至的管壁的导热性。
使用上文首次提到的纳米级SiO2涂层实现了这一目的。
在本发明的含义内,磨耗腐蚀定义为导致冷却系统壁除去和降解的任何类型的腐蚀。
根据本发明的提议使用的纳米级SiO2颗粒在用所述颗粒处理的表面上形成≤500nm,优选50-300nm的薄二氧化硅层。这不应视为防止氧化的常规保护措施;氧化物层在许多方面适合于保护下面的金属免受进一步的腐蚀侵袭。更准确地说,涂层实际上密封表面,防止粘附,并由于其硬度而减缓磨耗腐蚀。
无论何时提到沉积,这意味着包括促使减慢或防止冷却剂在冷却系统中流动且进一步阻碍通过冷却系统壁的热传递的矿物沉积和生物沉积二者。
就其本身而言,由纳米级SiO2颗粒制成的涂层是已知的。例如,它们用于涂覆矿物表面和生物表面,以使它们具有防污性。在这种涂料的帮助下,可以实现有效的涂鸦保护,但是,还可以通过掺入杀生物活性物质而采取设备保护措施。通过施加含有SiO2颗粒的水性溶胶-凝胶来产生涂层,其中SiO2颗粒通常的尺寸小于10nm。其实例可在出版物EP 1 826248 A1和DE 10 2007 060 320 A1中找到,所述出版物还描述了基于硅烷的溶胶-凝胶的产生。具体和明确地参考这些产生过程。
特别是通过喷涂施加水性涂料溶液。在这方面,膜厚度小于500nm,并且通常为50-300nm的范围,特别是80-150nm的范围。已经发现,难以实现较大的膜厚度,因为一旦所施加的水溶液固结成固体层,这些层的亲水性和疏水性也阻碍和限制相同材料的粘附。假设在施加期间发生缔合和聚合过程,这导致涂覆表面的无孔覆盖。
已经证明,涂覆的表面对机械应力、化学应力和电化学应力在很大程度上是惰性的。由于涂层的亲水性和疏水性,矿物材料和生物材料的粘附和沉积受到严重阻碍,因此以这种方式涂覆的表面保持无阻碍,并且流体可以长时间不受阻碍地通过冷却剂管线。涂层是无孔的,因此它们可靠地保护下面的金属基材(或底涂层),并且不会明显影响已经施加了这种涂层的壁的导热性。
涂层尤其可以有益地施加到导水冷却剂管线上,但是它也可以用在冷却系统的其他部件上,例如管板、阀、泵等。原则上,这种纳米级SiO2颗粒涂层可用于所有导水系统,即例如水管道/管、热交换器、加热系统、瞬时热水器、污水处理厂、水处理厂、海水淡化厂,尤其是还用于供应管线和类似系统。

用水清洁管线在高压下进行,所用的压力高达2500巴。例如,出版物WO 2012/045466A1提出并描述了一种设有向后喷射的喷嘴的清洁系统,所述向后喷射的喷嘴以反向行进模式操作并且具有相对于冷却剂管纵向方向的60°-120°的喷射角。这种喷嘴不仅可以用于清洁目的,而且也可以用于施加涂层材料,其提供了这样的优点,即通过清洁过程去除的材料随着水流排出,从而使得涂覆过程不受干扰,并且涂层不被喷嘴和应用软管的移动损坏。
在单个工作步骤中施加的根据本发明使用的单层材料是足够的。
施加底涂层主要用于处理已经显示出腐蚀和点蚀迹象的较旧冷却剂管。对于可以由一层或数层组成并可以施加一层或数层的底涂层,上文所述基于环氧树脂-胺硬化剂体系的材料是特别合适的。底涂层的膜厚度如上文针对管涂层所述。
通过喷涂施加水性溶胶-凝胶以产生SiO2层,为此目的可以使用上述喷嘴,然而,所述喷嘴在相当低的压力下运行。通常,用于所述底涂层的施加压力高达500巴,但对于施加所述溶胶-凝胶,压力仅高达约10巴。
