Description

Water-based woodware seal primer and preparation method thereof
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of water-based wood coatings, in particular to a water-based wood sealing primer suitable for coating various wood substrates and a preparation method thereof.
Background
Because of the wide variety of wood substrates covered in wood coating, the wood materials mainly used include natural sawn woods such as beech, oak, ash, pine, birch, maple, cherry, black walnut, and the like, and also include artificial boards such as density boards, plywood, particle boards, and the like. As wood itself, its chemical composition is extremely complex, and the average content of the essential elements of oven-dried wood is: 50% of carbon, 6.4% of hydrogen, 42.6% of oxygen and 1% of nitrogen. The main components comprise cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin and wood extract (tannin, oil, essence, pigment, alkaloid, etc.). Due to the existence of wood extracts, the cell cavities of the wood usually contain resin, gum, tannic acid, pigments, volatile oils, water and other substances, and if the sealing effect of the wood primer on the wood is not good, the defects of oil spitting, color change and the like of a paint film are easily caused.
Earlier, the industry generally adopted two methods for the substrate bleeding problem: firstly, a cationic emulsion designed by a special molecular structure is adopted as a film forming substance to prepare the water-based seal primer, and secondly, an anti-tannic acid auxiliary agent (which usually contains water-soluble aluminum, magnesium, zirconium and zinc compounds and can be subjected to metal complexation with pigments, tannic acid and the like in wood to be deposited on the bottom layer of a paint film without migration) is directly added into the formula of the conventional water-based wood clear primer, so that a certain bleeding seal effect is achieved. On the basis, the Chinese patent CN103642342B adopts a cationic emulsion with good bleeding resistance to match with a bleeding resistance auxiliary agent with excellent metal complexing ability to play a synergistic effect, and adopts 1 or more than 2 mixtures in aqueous cationic acrylic emulsion, aqueous cationic modified acrylic copolymer dispersoid or aqueous cationic epoxy resin ester emulsion as main film forming substances of the coating, and also adopts 1 or more than 2 mixtures in zirconium acetate, 20 wt% magnesium chloride aqueous solution, aluminum zirconium coupling agent, aluminum chlorohydrol, 20 wt% zirconium sulfate aqueous solution, 20 wt% zinc sulfate aqueous solution or titanate coupling agent as bleeding resistance auxiliary agents to prepare the waterborne bleeding resistance wood ware transparent primer capable of being stably stored. However, the cationic seal primer is often incompatible with the aqueous woodenware coating prepared by the conventional anionic aqueous acrylic emulsion, special equipment is required to be prepared in product development and production links and downstream construction application, otherwise, the situation that raw slag, gel or even a spraying system is completely blocked and scrapped is easily caused, and the defects that the hardness is slow to establish, the grinding is not easy, the coating cannot be stacked for a long time after construction and the like exist, so that the later-stage cracking risk of the solid color coating process caused by the large shrinkage rate of a paint film is also brought.
The Chinese patent CN 105295607A adopts hydrophilic modified aromatic polyisocyanate and anionic acrylic emulsion or modified acrylic polymer emulsion to prepare the waterborne wood sealing primer, and the Chinese patent CN 105602377A also adopts waterborne HDI tripolymer and waterborne hydroxy acrylic emulsion to perform chemical crosslinking reaction and fully exert the sealing performance under the premise of the existence of tannin polymerization inhibitor. The method can even play a good sealing role for base materials (such as black walnut, sapelli, rubber wood and red rubber) with heavy oil and pigment contents, but the products are two-component systems, namely two packages, and need to be added and uniformly mixed according to a certain proportion before construction by a painter for reuse, so that the products are inconvenient to use compared with the conventional single-component products, and the problem of short pot life is caused after the addition of the curing agent, and the paint is required to be adjusted after the amount of the paint is manually and carefully calculated so as not to cause waste, so the products are not popular in the market.
Chinese patent CN 105647309 a adopts imidized SMA modification to prepare aqueous cationic acrylic emulsion and then prepare aqueous seal primer, which overcomes the problems of low hardness, poor sanding property and the like commonly existing in the cationic emulsion, and retains the advantage of good anti-bleeding seal property inherent in the cationic emulsion, but for the problem of compatibility between cationic products and anionic aqueous wood coatings, special cylinder production is required, and a special spraying system is required to be additionally provided, so that the market application is limited.
In addition, as the prior art generally adopts and develops the waterborne woodware sealing transparent primer, when white coating is carried out on wood with deeper conduit lines, the white paint is easy to be difficult to enter the conduit, black hole-shaped pinholes are easy to appear after coating, and sometimes, the requirements of carrying out repeated strict and fine grinding and spraying can be eliminated; even if more bleeding resistance auxiliary agents are added to the conventional white primer to serve as a seal primer, bleeding inevitably occurs. Therefore, a new formula of the waterborne wood sealing primer is needed, and the waterborne wood sealing primer has more excellent construction performance while realizing the long-term effective anti-bleeding sealing effect on various substrates.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the problems in the prior art and provides a water-based woodware seal primer and a preparation method thereof. The waterborne wood sealing primer provided by the invention overcomes the defects of low hardness, poor sanding property, inconvenient construction and the like of the traditional cationic waterborne wood sealing primer, does not need to add polyisocyanate after adopting a two-component form, and well solves the contradictory problems of the current waterborne wood sealing primer in bleeding resistance and construction convenience.
The water-based acrylic emulsion modified by the cationic monomer but still showing the anionic property on the whole is used as a main film forming material, and the mixed anionic water-based self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion cannot have the phenomena of poor stability, coarse return and slag formation caused by incompatibility of anionic emulsion and cationic emulsion, so that the quality accidents of demulsification gel or spray gun blockage and the like cannot occur in the production process and the downstream application process of the water-based wood sealing primer provided by the invention, and the self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion after mixing can remarkably improve the hardness and the sanding property of the water-based acrylic emulsion modified by the cationic monomer. Meanwhile, under the synergistic metal complexing action of the resin cation structural unit, the bleeding preventing auxiliary agent and the aluminum (or zirconium) element on the surface of the rutile titanium dioxide in the seal primer, the paint film is endowed with excellent early bleeding preventing effect. In addition, an internal crosslinking agent added in the system, namely epoxy polysiloxane oligomer, can slowly perform crosslinking reaction with-COOH in an acrylic emulsion in the drying and curing process of a paint film, so that the final crosslinking density and water resistance of the paint film are improved, and the later-stage exudation of hydrophilic pigments in wood is prevented.

3. Comprehensive performance of water-based woodware sealing primer
The prepared waterborne wood sealing primer is subjected to various performance tests according to GB/T23999(D), and the results are shown in Table 1b as table comprehensive properties:
TABLE 1b waterborne Wood sealing primer combination Properties
Figure GDA0002171094720000062
Figure GDA0002171094720000071
As can be seen from the table above, the comprehensive performance of the waterborne wood sealing primer prepared by the embodiment is superior to that of the national standard GB/T23999(D) -2009, and the storage stability and the sanding property of the waterborne wood sealing primer both reach the performance standard of the conventional waterborne clear primer.
The waterborne wood sealing primer prepared in the embodiment is subjected to a test of the anti-seepage performance of various dark color substrates, and the test process comprises the following steps: the method comprises the following steps of sanding a substrate (removing burrs by No. 240 sand paper, completely removing dust) → spraying of the water-based woodware sealing primer (uniformly spraying) → drying (drying at 30-40 ℃ for 2h) → polishing of the primer (grinding and removing burrs by No. 320 sand paper), completely removing dust) → spraying of the conventional water-based anionic acrylic emulsion system white primer (uniformly spraying) → drying (drying at 30-40 ℃ for 2h, then turning to normal temperature and drying for 16h) → to-be-measured.
Testing the test plate by using a spectrocolorimeter, recording initial color values, placing the test plate in an environment of 25 ℃ for 1d, 7d and 30d, and in an environment of 50 ℃ for 1d, 3d and 7d, recording respective color difference change values, and summarizing the color difference change values as shown in the following table 1 c:
TABLE 1c bleed-resistant data Δ E values for waterborne wood sealer primers
Figure GDA0002171094720000072
From the table data, it can be seen that each performance index of the water-based seal primer of the embodiment reaches and is superior to national standard GB/T23999(D), and the water-based seal primer has the advantages of good storage stability, good sanding property, excellent anti-bleeding performance, convenient construction and the like, and shows excellent anti-bleeding effect on various base materials, and the anti-bleeding performance of the water-based seal primer does not change greatly with the lapse of time no matter in a normal temperature environment of 25 ℃ or a high temperature environment of 50 ℃, which shows that the water-based seal primer prepared by the embodiment has good anti-bleeding seal effect in the later period. This is because: the water-based seal primer of the embodiment takes water-based acrylic emulsion ECS-4907 modified by partial cationic monomers as a main film forming substance, is simultaneously blended and modified with water-based self-crosslinking acrylic emulsion ROSHIELD 3311, and is prepared by adding rutile titanium dioxide CR826 and anti-bleeding assistant L-44 of which the surfaces are modified by aluminum (or zirconium), and a paint film formed by final construction of the seal primer of the embodiment has excellent early anti-bleeding effect because film-forming resin has a cationic structure unit, the anti-bleeding assistant and aluminum (or zirconium) elements on the surface of rutile titanium dioxide exert synergistic metal complexing effect; taking the anti-bleeding data on sapelli wood presented in table 1c as an example, the initial color difference value measured by a spectrophotometer after coating is 0.21, and the value is only slightly increased during the subsequent placement on the test substrate, specifically, the values of 7d and 30d both at normal temperature are 0.26, even if the 50 ℃ manual accelerated test 7d (default industry is equivalent to the placement under daily use environment for 1 year) is only 0.26, while the blank sample is significantly increased from 5.42 to 9.81, which shows that the embodiment of the present invention can effectively prevent the late-stage bleeding of the hydrophilic pigment in the wood, because the internal cross-linking agent Coatosil2287 with an epoxy functional group is added in the embodiment, and can slowly perform a cross-linking reaction with the hydrophilic group-COOH remaining in the acrylic emulsion during the drying and curing process of the paint film.
The same spraying equipment system is adopted in the testing process of the anti-bleeding coating in the embodiment, the spraying equipment system does not need to be replaced after the water-based wood sealing primer provided by the embodiment is sprayed, the water-based wood sealing primer can be put into spraying construction of other water-based products after being cleaned by tap water, and the risk of blockage and scrapping of the spraying system cannot occur, so that the problem of construction convenience caused by the water-based cationic sealing primer provided in the Chinese patent CN103642342B is solved fundamentally.
