Detailed Description
The door D of the automobile shown in fig. 1 is a front door, and includes an outer panel D1 forming an outer side surface and an inner panel D2 forming an inner side surface (see fig. 5), and the front end portion is supported to be rotatable about an axis in the vertical direction with respect to the vehicle body, and the outer panel D1 is provided with an outside open handle OH operated when the door D is opened and a key cylinder K operated when the door D is locked and unlocked by a key held by a user. The door D includes: a latch device 1, a glass frame G extending in the vertical direction for guiding a window glass W that can be raised and lowered, a bowden cable C for transmitting a door opening operation of an outward opening handle OH to the latch device 1, and the like.
As shown in fig. 2 to 6, the door latch device 1 is a part of an inner panel D2, and includes: a main body 2 having a box shape and fixed to an inner surface of a rear plate D3 forming a rear surface of the door latch device 1 by a screw not shown; and a housing 3 made of synthetic resin and attached to the main body 2 so as to cover a back surface side (a front side in a state where the latch device 1 is attached to the door D) of the main body 2. The housing 3 includes: a 1 st case 3A fixed to the rear surface side of the main body 2 and having an opening facing the vehicle interior side; and a 2 nd case 3B that closes the opening of the 1 st case 3A. A synthetic resin waterproof cover 4 for preventing rainwater from entering the case 3 by covering a joint surface between an upper edge of the 1 st case 3A and an upper edge of the 2 nd case 3B from above is fixed to an upper edge of the case 3.
As shown in fig. 5, a bolt 6 and a ratchet wheel (japanese patent No. ラチェット)8 are accommodated in the main body 2, the bolt 6 is pivotally supported by a longitudinal bolt shaft 5 and can be engaged with and disengaged from a striker S fixed to a vehicle body side, and the ratchet wheel 8 is pivotally supported by a longitudinal ratchet shaft (japanese patent No. ラチェット axle) 7 and can be engaged with the bolt 6. Further, the ratchet shaft 7 and the ratchet 8 are integrally formed. The ratchet 8 is engaged with the latch 6 engaged with the striker S when the door D is closed, thereby holding the door D in a closed state, and is released (rotated counterclockwise in fig. 5) by an opening operation based on the outward opening handle OH and the inward opening handle IH (see fig. 1) provided on the vehicle interior side of the door D, thereby being separated from the latch 6, thereby enabling the door D to be opened. An outward opening lever 9 connected to an outward opening handle OH through a bowden cable C is rotatably disposed on the back surface of the main body 2.
The bowden cable C includes a flexible outer cable C1 and a flexible inner cable C2 inserted into the outer cable C1, and in a state of being housed in the door D, as shown in fig. 1 and 2, extends upward from the side of the outside open handle OH, bends along the inner surface of the door D at a position above a latch bar guide member 12, which will be described later, fixed to the housing 3 of the door latch device 1 so as to turn in a U-turn and extends downward, and thereby connects the inner cable C2 to the outside open lever 9 of the door latch device 1. A cylindrical buffer C3 is externally fitted around the outer periphery of the region of the outer wire C1 extending from the bent portion toward the latch device 1 side, and the buffer C3 is used to suppress the occurrence of abnormal noise due to the outer wire C1 rattling inside the door 1 and coming into contact with the inner surface of the door D during traveling when the door D is opened or closed.
A cylindrical handle side end cap C1a provided at one end of the outer wire C1 is fixed to a handle base OH1 (see fig. 5), the handle base OH1 is used to movably support the outward opening handle OH, and a cylindrical latch side end cap C1b provided at the other end of the outer wire C1 is fixed to a wire holding portion 2a formed in the main body 2. One end C2a of the inner wire C2 extending downward from the handle side end cap C1a is connected from above to a handle control lever OH2 (see fig. 4 and 5) pivotally supported by a handle base OH1 of the outward opening handle OH by a shaft OH 3. The other end portion C2b of the inner wire C2 extending downward from the latch-side end cap C1b is connected to the outward opening lever 9 from above.
When the door opening operation is performed on the outside open handle OH, the handle lever OH2 is rotated by a predetermined angle in the arrow direction about the axis OH3 in fig. 4, and the one end C2a of the inside wire C2 is pulled downward by the rotation, whereby the other end C2b is pulled upward.
The outward opening lever 9 is pivotally supported on the back surface of the main body 2 by a shaft 91 in the front-rear direction so as to be rotatable, and a portion protruding outward from the 1 st case 3A is coupled to the other end C2b of the inner wire C2 of the bowden cable C, whereby the door opening operation of the outward opening handle OH is inputted and the releasing operation (the operation of rotating clockwise by a predetermined angle about the shaft 91 in fig. 5) is performed. When the outward opening lever 9 is released, if a lock/unlock mechanism described later is in an unlocked state, the ratchet 8 can be released to open the door D, and if the lock/unlock mechanism is in a locked state, the ratchet cannot be released to open the door D.
As shown in fig. 6 to 8, a key cylinder control lever 10 and a lock lever 11 are housed in the case 3 (a space between the 1 st case 3A and the 2 nd case 3B), the key cylinder control lever 10 is connected to the key cylinder K via a key cylinder K1, and the lock lever 11 is connected to the key cylinder control lever 10 and constitutes a part of the lock/unlock mechanism. A circular insertion hole 3A into which the plug lever K1 can be inserted from the outside of the vehicle is provided in the upper portion of the 1 st housing 3A (the rotation center portion of the key cylinder control lever 10). A synthetic resin-made plug bar guide member 12 is attached to the insertion hole 3a in a shape surrounding the insertion hole 3 a.
The plug lever K1 is rotatable based on the lock/unlock operation of the key cylinder K, and is coupled to the key cylinder lever 10 by being inserted into the insertion hole 3 a. The rotation of the key cylinder control lever 10 in conjunction with the rotation of the cylinder lever K1 transmits the rotation of the key cylinder control lever 10 to the lock control lever 11. The lock lever 11 is switched to either one of the unlocked state and the locked state based on the rotation of the key cylinder lever 10. The door opening operation of the outside opening handle OH and the inside opening handle IH provided on the vehicle interior side of the door D is effective in the case where the lock lever 11 is in the unlocked state (the door D can be opened), and is ineffective in the case where the door D is locked (the door D cannot be opened). Further, the door opening operation of the inside open handle IH is transmitted to the inside open lever 15 disposed in the housing 3 of the door latch device 1 via another bowden cable 14 disposed in the door D.
The outward opening handle OH is supported by a handle base OH1 so as to be swingable outward about a vertical axis. The handle lever OH2 linked to the door opening operation of the outside opening handle OH is pivotally supported by a handle base OH1 to be rotatable at a predetermined angle by a front-rear direction shaft OH 3. The rotating end of the handle lever OH2 is connected to one end C2a of the inner wire C2. Thus, the door opening operation of the outside open handle OH is transmitted to the outside open lever 9 of the door latch device 1 via the handle lever OH2 and the inner wire C2.
As shown in fig. 7 to 11, the cylinder bar guide member 12 has: a surrounding wall 12a for surrounding the periphery of an insertion hole 3A provided in the upper portion of the 1 st case 3A; a claw portion 12b which can be engaged with the inside of the insertion hole 3 a; a mounting piece 12d in which a mounting hole 12c is formed, the mounting hole 12c being inserted by a screw 13 for fixing the plug bar guide member 12 to the 1 st housing 3A; and a holding piece 12e for holding an outer cord C1 of the bowden cord C, wherein the claw 12b is engaged with the upper inside of the insertion hole 3A, and the attachment piece 12d is fastened to the 1 st case 3A by the screw 13, and is fixed to the 1 st case 3A so that the surrounding wall 12a surrounds the insertion hole 3A of the 1 st case 3A.
The surrounding wall 12a has a trumpet shape in which the opening diameter gradually increases from the vehicle inside toward the vehicle outside in a state where the plug bar guide member 12 is fixed to the 1 st case 3A, and has a function of guiding the plug bar K1 to the insertion hole 3A when performing an operation of inserting the plug bar K1 into the insertion hole 3A. Further, the surrounding wall 12a surrounds the insertion hole 3a and a part of the plug lever K1 inserted into the insertion hole 3a, and thus has the following functions: an improper tool is prevented from entering the insertion hole 3a, and improper operation of the key cylinder lever 10 is avoided.
The retaining piece 12e is provided on the outer surface of the rear wall 124a out of the upper wall 121a, the lower wall 122a, the front wall 123a, and the rear wall 124a of the surrounding wall 12a, and is formed in a tongue-like shape that is open on the vehicle interior side and is elastically deformable in the front-rear direction. As can be understood from fig. 7, the holding piece 12e is provided at a position overlapping the front and rear of the glass frame G when the attachment surface of the door latch device 1 shown in fig. 5 is viewed from the front.
A portion of the outer wire C1 of the bowden wire C is sandwiched between the rear wall 124a of the surrounding wall 12a of the plug guide member 12 and the retaining tab 12 e. As a part of the outer wire C1 sandwiched by the holding piece 12e, a part above the latch-side end cap C1b and below the U-turn portion is preferably used.
As described above, the door latch device for an automobile according to the present embodiment has the following operational effects.
By providing a tongue-shaped holding piece 12e on the plug guide member 12 fixed to the housing 3 and by holding a part of the outer wire C1 of the bowden cable C by the holding piece 12e, the rattling of the outer wire C1 of the bowden cable C is suppressed and the occurrence of contact noise during traveling when the door D is opened and closed is prevented.
By forming the plug bar guide member 12 independently of the housing 3, the housing 3 can be shared by changing only the plug bar guide member 12 even between vehicle types having different routing paths and lengths of the bowden cable C.
The holding piece 12e is formed into a tongue-like piece having elasticity, and the outer wire C1 of the bowden wire C can be easily and reliably held by the plug guide 12.
The bowden cable C extends upward from the outside open handle OH side, bends along the inner surface of the door D at a position above the plug bar guide member 12 of the door latch device 1 in a U-turn manner, extends downward, and is connected to the door latch device 1, so that one end and the other end of the outside cable C1 face downward, and therefore rainwater entering the door D does not enter the outside cable C1 from one end and the other end of the outside cable C1. This can prevent the inner wire C2 from rusting, freezing, and the like in the outer wire C1.
Since the holding piece 12e is provided at a position overlapping the front and rear of the glass frame G when the mounting surface of the latch device 1 is viewed from the front, even if an inappropriate tool is inserted into the door D from the gap between the window glass W and the door D, for example, the inappropriate tool is less likely to reach the holding piece 12e, and thus an inappropriate action such as detaching the bowden cable C from the holding piece 12e can be prevented, and excellent theft prevention can be achieved.
While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the following various modifications and changes can be made to the embodiments without departing from the scope of the present invention.
(a) The positions of the insertion hole 3a of the housing 3 and the plug bar guide member 12 are appropriately changed.
(b) The arrangement route of the bowden cable C is a route other than the above-described embodiment.
