本申请公开了一种显示面板及显示装置,显示面板包括:多个像素单元,多个像素单元阵列排布;多条扫描信号线,每一扫描线耦接多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出扫描信号至像素单元;多条数据信号线,每一数据线耦接多个像素单元中的一列像素单元,用于输出数据信号至像素单元;多条脉冲宽度调制信号线,每一脉冲宽度调制信号线耦接多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出脉冲宽度调制信号至像素单元并控制像素单元的发光时间以实现显示不同灰阶。通过上述方式,本申请能能够达到低亮度驱动显示,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮的情况发生。

本申请涉及显示技术领域,特别是涉及一种显示面板及显示装置。
背景技术
微发光二极管(micro LED)显示器具有低功率消耗、高色彩饱和度和高反应速度等优点,使得微发光二极管显示器被视为下一代主流显示器产品的热门技术之一。传统的微发光二极管显示器通过调整提供给像素电路的电流,来控制像素电路中的微发光二极管产生的光线的亮度。因其微发光二极管的灰阶电压不易设定,且二极管的驱动电压太低,流过二极管的驱动电流过大,容易造成二极管的发光亮度过亮等问题。
发明内容
本申请提供一种显示面板及显示装置,能够解决现有技术中发光二极管发光亮度过亮等问题。
为解决上述技术问题,本申请采用的一个技术方案是:提供一种显示面板,其特征在于,所述显示面板包括:多个像素单元,所述多个像素单元阵列排布;多条扫描信号线,每一所述扫描信号线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出扫描信号至所述像素单元;多条数据信号线,每一所述数据信号线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一列像素单元,用于输出数据信号至所述像素单元;多条脉冲宽度调制信号线,每一所述脉冲宽度调制信号线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出脉冲宽度调制信号至所述像素单元并控制所述像素单元的发光时间以实现显示不同灰阶。
其中,每一所述像素单元的发光时间和所述像素单元的亮度值相关。

为解决上述技术问题,本申请采用的又一个技术方案是:提供一种显示装置,所述显示装置包括上述所述的显示面板,以及;扫描驱动电路,耦接所述多条扫描信号线,用以为所述多个像素单元提供扫描信号;数据驱动电路,耦接所述多条数据信号线,用以为所述多个像素单元提供数据信号;脉冲宽度调制电路,耦接所述脉冲宽度调制信号线,用以提供脉冲调制信号至所述像素单元,以控制所述像素单元的发光时间从而实现所述显示装置显示不同灰阶。
其中,每一所述像素单元的发光时间和所述像素单元的亮度值相关。

本申请的有益效果是:提供一种显示面板及显示装置,通过通过利用脉冲宽度调制信号来调整像素单元的发光时长,能够达到低亮度驱动显示,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮的情况发生。

请参阅图1,图1为本申请显示面板一实施方式的结构示意图,如图1所示本申请中提供的显示面板100包括多个像素单元110、多条扫描线120(G1、G2…Gn)、多条数据线130(D1、D2…Dn)以及多条脉冲宽度调制信号线140(G1-P、G2-P…Gn-P)。
其中,每一所述的扫描线120耦接多个像素单元中的一行像素单元110,用于输出扫描信号至像素单元110。每一所述数据线130耦接多个像素单元中的一列像素单元110,用于输出数据信号至像素单元110。
可选地,每一脉冲宽度调制信号线140耦接多个像素单元中的一行像素单元110,用于输出脉冲宽度调制信号至像素单元110并控制该像素单元110的发光时间以实现显示不同灰阶。
本申请中采用脉冲宽度调制(Pulse Width Modulation,PWM)来控制像素单元的发光时间,从而实现低亮度驱动,避免发光元件亮度过亮的问题。
请进一步结合图2,图2为本申请像素单元一实施方式方式的结构示意图,参阅图2,本申请的像素单元110至少包括发光元件111、驱动开关管T、第一开关管T1、第二开关管T2以及存储电容C。
其中,发光元件111的一端连接公共电压Vss,用于为像素单元110提供光线,且该公共电压Vss可以为接地电压。本实施例中的发光元件111可以为微发光二极管(microLED),在其它实施方式中还可以是有机发光二极管(OLED)或者发光二极管,此处不做具体限定。
驱动开关管T,该驱动开关管T的第一端连接电源电压Vdd,该驱动开关管T的第二端连接发光元件111,用于驱动发光元件111发光。且一般来说,该电源电压Vdd的值大于公共电压Vss的电压值。
第一开关管T1,该第一开关管T1的第一端连接驱动开关管T的控制端,第一开关管T1的控制端连接脉冲宽度调制信号线140。
第二开关管T2,该第二开关管T2的第一端连接第一开关管T1的第一端,第二开关管T2的第二端连接数据信号线130,第二开关管T2的控制端连接扫描信号线120。
存储电容C,该存储电容C的第一端连接第一开关管T1的第一端,该存储电容C的第二端连接公共电压Vss。
可选地,上述驱动开关管T、第一开关管T1以及第二开关管T2可以为薄膜场效应晶体管,也可以为其他可以实现开关功能的电子器件,本发明不做具体限定。且本发明中涉及到开关管的第一端可以为开关管的漏极、第二端可以为开关管的源极,在具体实施例中,开关管的源极和漏极可以互换,此处也不做具体限定。
一并结合图3,图3为本申请像素单元一实施方式的工作的波形时序图。如图3,简单来说本申请中像素单元110的驱动过程可以包括像素初始化、阈值产生、数据写入以及发光写入四个阶段。本申请主要介绍数据写入以及发光写入阶段,具体如下:
在数据写入阶段,扫描信号线120和脉冲宽度调制信号线140不同时输出信号,即本申请中脉冲宽度调制信号线140输出脉冲调制信号至第一开关管T1控制端的时间晚于扫描信号线120输出扫描信号至第二开关管T2控制端的时间。也即是本申请通过延迟脉冲宽度调制信号的输出来控制像素单元110中发光元件111的发光时长,从而实现显示不同的灰阶。
可选地,本申请中像素单元110中发光元件111的发光时间和像素单元110的亮度值相关。可以理解的是,脉冲宽度调制信号在一帧里面的开启时长,即相对于扫描信号的延迟时间由像素单元需要多少亮度值决定。
可选地,只有脉冲宽度调制信号输出至第一开关管T1处,第一开关管T1导通,电源电压Vdd给发光元件111电流,从而使得发光元件111发光。其中,发光元件111的发光时间(脉冲宽度调制信号的输出时间)则和像素单元所需要的亮度值相关,而亮度值则由显示面板100点gamma曲线来决定。举例来说,显示面板呈现256灰阶,每个灰阶有对应的亮度数值,例如G255=100nits,G32=1nits,其中,G代表灰阶,G255代表255灰阶。在本申请一具体应用场景中,以显示面板的驱动频率为60Hz为例,若像素单元110的所要显示的灰阶为G255,则脉冲宽度调制信号的开启时间为16ms(第一晶体管T1点开启时间,也即是发光元件111的发光时间),同理对于G32,其亮度值为G255的百分之一,其对应的脉冲宽度调制信号的开启时间可以为0.16ms。也就是说,知道每一像素单元110所需要点亮度值就可以知道脉冲宽度调制信号的开启时间,从而可以知道发光元件111的发光时间。
可选地,每一灰阶需要多少亮度可以预先设置好,具体可以参照gamma2.2亮度和时间的设定,如下:

可以理解的是,对于显示面板100中的每一行所述像素单元110,其脉冲宽度调制信号的开启时间均需要做延迟,且其延迟的时间长度和该行像素单元所需的亮度值相关,详见上述实施方式的具体描述,此处不再赘述。
本申请中通过将脉冲宽度调制信号线输出脉冲调制信号至第一开关管控制端的时间设置为晚于扫描信号线输出扫描信号至第二开关管控制端的时间,即延迟脉冲宽度调制信号的打开时间,能够调整像素单元的发光时长,从而达到低亮度驱动,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮。
上述实施方式中,通过利用脉冲宽度调制信号来调整像素单元的发光时长,能够达到低亮度驱动,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮的情况发生。
参阅图4,图4为本申请显示装置一实施方式的结构示意图,如图4,本申请中的显示装置200包括显示面板F、扫描驱动电路210、数据驱动电路220以及脉冲宽度调制电路230。
其中,显示面板F进一步包括多个像素单元110、多条扫描线120、多条数据线130以及多条脉冲宽度调制信号线140,其中像素单元110、扫描线120、数据线130以及脉冲宽度调制信号线140的具体作用和连接关系参见上述实施方式中的具体描述,此处不再赘述。
可选地,像素单元110至少包括发光元件111、驱动开关管T、第一开关管T1、第二开关管T2以及存储电容C。
其中,其中,发光元件111的一端连接公共电压Vss,用于为像素单元110提供光线,且该公共电压Vss可以为接地电压。本实施例中的发光元件111可以为微发光二极管(microLED),在其它实施方式中还可以是有机发光二极管(OLED)或者发光二极管,此处不做具体限定。
驱动开关管T,该驱动开关管T的第一端连接电源电压Vdd,该驱动开关管T的第二端连接发光元件111,用于驱动发光元件111发光。且一般来说,该电源电压Vdd的值大于公共电压Vss的电压值。
第一开关管T1,该第一开关管T1的第一端连接驱动开关管T的控制端,第一开关管T1的控制端连接脉冲宽度调制信号线140。
第二开关管T2,该第二开关管T2的第一端连接第一开关管T1的第一端,第二开关管T2的第二端连接数据信号线130,第二开关管T2的控制端连接扫描信号线120。
存储电容C,该存储电容C的第一端连接第一开关管T1的第一端,该存储电容C的第二端连接公共电压Vss。
可选地,扫描驱动电路210耦接多条扫描信号线120,用以为多个像素单元110提供扫描信号。
数据驱动电路220耦接多条数信号据线130,用以为多个像素单元提供数据信号。
脉冲宽度调制电路230耦接脉冲宽度调制信号线140,用以提供脉冲调制信号至像素单元110,以控制像素单元110的发光时间从而实现显示装置200显示不同灰阶。
其中,每一像素单元110的发光时间和像素单元110的亮度值相关。且脉冲宽度调制信号线140输出脉冲调制信号至第一开关管T1的时间晚于扫描信号线120输出扫描信号至第二开关管T2的时间。且本申请电路的具体实现原理参见上文显示面板实施方式中的具体描述,此处不再赘述。
上述实施方式中,通过利用脉冲宽度调制信号来调整像素单元的发光时长,能够达到低亮度驱动,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮的情况发生。
综上所述,本领域技术人员容易理解,本申请提供一种显示面板及显示装置,通过利用脉冲宽度调制信号来调整像素单元的发光时长,能够达到低亮度驱动,避免经过发光元件电流过大而造成其亮度过亮的情况发生。

Claims (10)

1.一种显示面板,其特征在于,所述显示面板包括:
多个像素单元,所述多个像素单元阵列排布;
多条扫描信号线,每一所述扫描线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出扫描信号至所述像素单元;
多条数据信号线,每一所述数据线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一列像素单元,用于输出数据信号至所述像素单元;
多条脉冲宽度调制信号线,每一所述脉冲宽度调制信号线耦接所述多个像素单元中的一行像素单元,用于输出脉冲宽度调制信号至所述像素单元并控制所述像素单元的发光时间以实现显示不同灰阶。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,每一所述像素单元的发光时间和所述像素单元的亮度值相关。
3.根据权利要求1所述的显示面板,其特征在于,每一所述像素单元至少包括:
发光元件,所述发光元件的一端连接公共电压,用于为所述像素单元提供光线;
驱动开关管,所述驱动开关管的第一端连接电源电压,所述驱动开关管的第二端连接所述发光元件,用于驱动所述发光元件发光;
第一开关管,所述第一开关管的第一端连接所述驱动开关管的控制端,所述第一开关管的控制端连接所述脉冲宽度调制信号线;
第二开关管,所述第二开关管的第一端连接所述第一开关管的第一端,所述第二开关管的第二端连接所述数据信号线,所述第二开关管的控制端连接所述扫描信号线;
存储电容,所述存储电容的第一端连接所述第一开关管的第一端,所述存储电容的第二端连接所述公共电压。
4.根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述脉冲宽度调制信号线输出脉冲调制信号至所述第一开关管控制端的时间晚于所述扫描信号线输出扫描信号至所述第二开关管控制端的时间。
5.根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述发光元件为微发光二极管。
6.根据权利要求3所述的显示面板,其特征在于,所述第一开关管、第二开关管及所述驱动开关管为薄膜场效应晶体管。
7.一种显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示装置包括如权利要求1中所述的显示面板,以及;
扫描驱动电路,耦接所述多条扫描信号线,用以为所述多个像素单元提供扫描信号;
数据驱动电路,耦接所述多条数据信号线,用以为所述多个像素单元提供数据信号;
脉冲宽度调制电路,耦接所述脉冲宽度调制信号线,用以提供脉冲调制信号至所述像素单元,以控制所述像素单元的发光时间从而实现所述显示装置显示不同灰阶。
8.根据权利要求7所述显示装置,其特征在于,每一所述像素单元的发光时间和所述像素单元的亮度值相关。
9.根据权利要求7所述显示装置,其特征在于,每一所述像素单元至少包括:
发光元件,所述发光元件的一端连接公共电压,用于为所述像素单元提供光线;
驱动开关管,所述驱动开关管的第一端连接电源电压,所述驱动开关管的第二端连接所述发光元件,用于驱动所述发光元件发光;
第一开关管,所述第一开关管的第一端连接所述驱动开关管的控制端,所述第一开关管的控制端连接所述脉冲宽度调制信号线;
第二开关管,所述第二开关管的第一端连接所述第一开关管的第一端,所述第二开关管的第二端连接所述数据信号线,所述第二开关管的控制端连接所述扫描信号线;
存储电容,所述存储电容的第一端连接所述第一开关管的第一端,所述存储电容的第二端连接所述公共电压。
10.根据权利要求9所述显示装置,其特征在于,所述脉冲宽度调制信号线输出脉冲调制信号至所述第一开关管的时间晚于所述扫描信号线输出扫描信号至所述第二开关管的时间。
