技术领域
本发明一般涉及镧系氧化物减少负载型催化剂在使用期间的烧结的用途。
背景技术
在化学工业中通常使用催化剂以改变给定化学反应的速率,它们可以使所期望的化学反应更有利或更容易发生。另外,能够通过增加催化剂的表面积来提高其效率,增加催化剂的表面积在化学反应过程中提供了更多反应位点。
但值得注意的是,催化剂例如在合成气制备或甲烷重整反应中,通常经受高温(例如大于700℃或800℃)。这些温度会导致使用的催化材料聚集或烧结。这会导致反应期间表面积的减少,因而降低反应期间催化剂的有效性以至催化剂完全失效/催化剂失活。
虽然已经做出了一些减少高温时烧结的尝试,但是更有效的解决方案之一是简单地在反应过程起始时增加所使用的催化剂的量,或者在反应期间连续地再供应催化剂。这会增加与化学反应过程相关的成本并且使反应步骤复杂化。
发明内容
已经发现烧结问题的一个解决方案。该解决方案在于使用镧系氧化物以减少催化剂的烧结。举例而言,可以使用镧系氧化物涂覆催化剂的表面的一部分,这使得在高温下使用催化剂时减少烧结。在一个具体方面,已发现镧系氧化物与催化材料一定的重量比在减少催化剂在使用期间的烧结中效果良好。
在一个具体方面,公开了镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其包含:负载型催化剂和镧系氧化物,所述负载型催化剂包含载体材料和催化材料,其中,镧系氧化物附着至负载型催化剂的表面的至少一部分。在一些方面,存在的镧系氧化物的量是在高温(例如大于700℃或800℃,或者大于700℃至1100℃、或800℃至1100℃的温度)下使用该催化剂期间、例如在合成气制备或甲烷重整反应期间在减少或防止催化材料和/或载体材料的烧结方面有效的量。在一些方面,用于减少烧结的镧系氧化物的有效量可以是基于催化剂的总重量的2重量%、4重量%、6重量%、8重量%、10重量%、15重量%、20重量%、25重量%或30重量%的镧系氧化物。在其他方面,用于减少烧结的镧系氧化物的有效量可以是镧系氧化物与催化材料(例如催化金属)的选定的重量比,例如至少5:1、或者5:1至10:1、或者6:1至8:1的比例。另外,用于减少烧结的镧系氧化物的有效量可以是镧系氧化物与负载型催化剂的选定的重量比,例如5:100至20:100、或者10:100至15:100的比例。在一些方面,催化材料可以是催化金属。催化金属可以是Pt、Pd、Au、Ag、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、Mo、Rh、Ru或Ir,或其任意组合。在更具体的实施方案中,催化金属可以是Ni、Pt、Rh、Au、Ag或Ru,或其任意组合。在另一些方面,催化材料可以是贵金属和贱金属的组合。这样的非限制性组合可以包括PtX、PdX、AuX、AgX、RhX、RuX或IrX,其中X=Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn或Mo。可以使用的镧系氧化物包括但不限于CeO2、Pr2O3、Eu2O3、Nd2O3、Gd2O3或La2O3,或其任意组合。在具体的例子中,镧系氧化物是CeO2。载体材料可以是基于金属氧化物、碱土金属/金属氧化物复合物、黏土矿物、钙钛矿或沸石的载体。金属氧化物可以是二氧化硅、氧化铝、氧化锆、二氧化钛或氧化铈。在一些方面,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以包含0.1重量%至20重量%的催化金属、和/或1重量%至50重量%的镧系氧化物、和/或99重量%至50重量%的载体材料。镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以是颗粒形式,例如具有5μm至1000μm的粒度。在其他方面,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以是非粉末形式,或具有预制的几何结构。预制的几何结构可以是丸粒、泡沫、蜂巢或者整料。镧系氧化物可以分散在负载型催化剂的表面上。在具体的例子中,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂能够在经受大于700℃至1100℃,或者725℃、750℃、775℃或800℃至900℃、1000℃或1100℃,或者800℃至1000℃,或者800℃至1100℃的温度时减少催化金属的烧结。镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂还能够催化由烃气体如甲烷制备包含氢和一氧化碳的气态混合物。在具体的例子中,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以具有10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3、8重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3、5重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3、或者2重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3的结构。在其他例子中,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以具有10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/MgAl2O4、8重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/MgAl2O4、5重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/MgAl2O4、或者2重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/MgAl2O4的结构。在另一些例子中,镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以具有10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭石、8重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭石、5重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭石、或者2重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭石的结构。

还公开了制备气态混合物的方法,其包括:在足以制备包含氢和一氧化碳的气态混合物的条件下,使包含烃和氧化剂的反应性气体混合物与上文和/或本说明书全文所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂中的任一种接触。另外,公开了催化重整反应性气体混合物的方法,其包括:提供包含烃和氧化剂的反应性气体混合物,提供上文和/或本说明书全文所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂中的任一种,和在足以制备包含一氧化碳和氢的气态混合物的条件下使反应性气体混合物与镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂接触。这样的足以制备所述气体混合物的条件可以包括700℃至1100℃,或者725℃、750℃、775℃或800℃至900℃、1000℃或1100℃,或者800℃至1000℃,或者800℃至1100℃的温度,1巴至30巴的绝对压力,和/或500h-1至10000h-1的气时空速(GHSV)。在具体的例子中,烃包括甲烷。在一些方面,氧化剂包括二氧化碳、氧或水,或其任意组合。在具体的例子中,烃包括甲烷,并且氧化剂包括二氧化碳、或者二氧化碳和氧的混合物,所制备的气态混合物中一氧化碳与氢的比例是约1:1或1。在其他方面,烃包括甲烷,并且氧化剂包括水(例如水气或水蒸气),所制备的气态混合物中一氧化碳与氢的比例是约1:3或0.33。反应性气体混合物可以包括天然气、包含C2-C5烃的液化石油气、C6+重烃(例如,C6至C24烃,如柴油、喷气燃料、汽油、焦油、煤油等)、氧化烃、和/或生物柴油、醇或二甲醚。在具体的例子中,反应性气体混合物具有等于或大于0.9的总的氧与碳的原子比例。该方法还可以包括分离和/或存储所制备的气态混合物。该方法还可以包括从所制备的气态混合物中分离氢(例如通过使该所制备的气态混合物穿过氢选择性膜从而产生氢渗透)。该方法可以包括从所制备的气态混合物中分离一氧化碳(例如通过使该所制备的气态混合物通过一氧化碳选择性膜从而产生一氧化碳渗透)。在一些方面,在负载型催化剂上积碳或焦化减少或者不发生,和/或在负载型催化剂上烧结减少或者不发生。在具体的例子中,当该负载型催化剂经受大于700℃至1100℃,或者725℃、750℃、775℃或800℃至900℃、1000℃或1100℃的温度时,积碳或焦化和/或烧结减少或者不发生。在具体的例子中,范围可以是800℃至1000℃,或者800℃至1100℃。
实施方案1提供了一种镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其包含:
(a)负载型催化剂,所述负载型催化剂包含载体材料和催化材料;以及,
(b)镧系氧化物,
其中,所述镧系氧化物附着至所述负载型催化剂的表面的至少一部分。

具体实施方式
现有的可用于使烃重整为合成气的催化剂易于烧结,这会在相对短期的使用后导致低效的催化性能或者催化剂的最终失效。这会导致低效的合成气制备以及增加的与其制备相关的成本。
已完成避免上述烧结问题的发现。该发现基于使用镧系氧化物以减少或防止烧结——镧系氧化物可以用于制造当在高温下使用时抗烧结的催化剂。不希望受到理论的束缚,认为镧系氧化物能够减少或防止载体材料和催化材料在高温下聚集,从而减少或防止所述材料的烧结。另外,在具体的负载型催化剂上使用镧系氧化物作为涂层(例如在2013年5月9日提交的美国临时申请61/821,514和2013年5月9日提交的美国临时申请61/821,522中公开的黏土矿物或碱土金属/金属氧化物负载型催化剂,皆通过引用并入本申请)进一步减少高温下烧结的发生。
在以下部分更详细地讨论本发明的这些和其他非限制性方面。
A.镧系氧化物
在本发明的情况下可以用于制备镧系氧化物的镧系元素包括镧(La)、铈(Ce)、钆(Gd)、钕(Nd)、镨(Pr)和铕(Eu),或这些镧系元素的组合。镧系氧化物的非限制性实例包括:CeO2、Pr2O3、Eu2O3、Nd2O3、Gd2O3或La2O3,或其任意组合。镧系元素的盐(例如氯化物、硝酸盐、硫酸盐等)可以从商业来源例如Sigma-Aldrich、Alfa-Aeaser、Strem等获得。镧系氧化物可以通过本领域已知的方法来制备,例如通过镧系元素盐的高温(例如>500℃)分解,或通过使盐沉淀为各自的氢氧化物、然后煅烧为氧化物形式。
B.载体材料
在本发明的情况下可以使用各种载体材料。例如,载体材料可以是基于金属氧化物、碱土金属/金属氧化物复合物、黏土矿物、钙钛矿或沸石的载体。关于金属氧化物载体,可以使用的非限制性实例包括二氧化硅、氧化铝、氧化锆、二氧化钛或氧化铈,或其任意组合。
对于黏土矿物载体,在下面提供这种材料的非限制性实例。但是,在具体的例子中,可以使用具有1:1的硅酸盐层构型的黏土矿物(例如高岭石)。黏土矿物一般包括二氧化硅、氧化铝或氧化镁或其二者、以及水。一些黏土矿物可以使用如下的理想化学式来表示:2SiO2Al2O3 2H2O(高岭石),4SiO2Al2O3H2O(叶蜡石),4SiO2 3MgO H2O(滑石),以及3SiO2Al2O35FeO 4H2O(鲕绿泥石)。SiO2的比例是决定黏土矿物类型的关键因素。可以基于化学组成和原子结构的变化将黏土矿物分类为九组:(1)高岭土-蛇纹石(高岭石、埃洛石、利蛇纹石、纤蛇纹石),(2)叶蜡石-滑石,(3)云母(伊利石、海绿石、绿鳞石),(4)蛭石,(5)蒙皂石(蒙脱石、绿脱石、皂石),(6)绿泥石(须藤石、斜绿泥石、鲕绿泥石),(7)海泡石-坡缕石,(8)间层黏土矿物(例如累脱石、柯绿泥石、绿泥间膨润石),以及(9)水铝英石-伊毛缟石。
黏土矿物的普遍结构特征是水合层状硅酸盐的存在。这些特征是Si2O5与SiO4四面体通过共用每个四面体的三个角以形成六方网形式而连接的连续的二维四面体片。在通常垂直于片指向的四面体的第四个角处的顶点氧形成相邻的八面体片的一部分,其中八面体通过共用边来连接。称为硅酸盐层的黏土矿物的结构“骨架”有两种主要类型。通过使一个八面体片对准一个四面体片而形成的单位硅酸盐层被称为1:1硅酸盐层,八面体片的暴露表面包含氢氧根。在另一类型中,单位硅酸盐层由被沿相反方向取向的两个四面体片夹着的一个八面体片构成,并被称为2:1硅酸盐层。因此,包含1:1硅酸盐层的黏土矿物是其中八面体片与四面体片对准的黏土矿物。相比之下,包含2:1硅酸盐层的黏土矿物是其中八面体片在一侧与四面体片对准且在相反侧与又一四面体片对准的黏土矿物。
黏土矿物的高岭土-蛇纹石组是1:1层状硅酸盐。它们的基本结构单元包括四面体片和八面体片,其中,在八面体片的暴露表面处的阴离子是氢氧根。因此,它们的一般结构可以表示为:Y2-3Z2O5(OH)4,其中Y是八面体片中的阳离子,例如对于二八面体物质是Al3+和Fe3+,对于三八面体物质是Mg2+、Fe2+、Mn2+和Ni2+,Z是四面体片中的阳离子,大部分是Si,小部分是Al和Fe3+。高岭石具有结构式Al2Si2O5(OH)4。高岭石是静电中性的,并且具有三斜对称性。迪开石和珍珠陶土是高岭石的同质异序变体,两者都包括双1:1层且具有单斜对称性,但是两个1:1硅酸盐层的堆积顺序不同。埃洛石也具有与高岭石的组成接近的组成,且与高岭石颗粒的扁平状性质相比,其特征在于它的管状性质。埃洛石具有组成为Al2Si2O5(OH)4 2H2O的水合形式。在较低的温度(60℃)下或者暴露于低的相对湿度的条件后,这种水合形式不可逆地转变为脱水变体。三八面体镁物质、纤蛇纹石、叶蛇纹石和利蛇纹石具有化学式Mg3Si2O5(OH)4。纤蛇纹石晶体具有圆柱筒形态。叶蛇纹石晶体呈现交替的波纹结构。利蛇纹石晶体是扁平状的,并且可以包括少量的铝或三价铁离子对硅和镁二者的取代。
关于黏土矿物的叶蜡石-滑石组,它们具有单位厚度为约9.2至的2:1层形式。结构是两个四面体片夹着的八面体片。叶蜡石和滑石分别代表组中的二八面体成员和三八面体成员。叶蜡石的结构式是Al2Si4O10(OH)2,滑石的结构式是Mg3Si4O10(OH)2。因此,这些矿物的2:1层是静电中性的,并且通过范德华结合保持在一起。
云母黏土矿物也具有类似叶蜡石和滑石的2:1层类型的基本结构单元。实例包括白云母(KAl2(Si3Al)O10(OH)2)、金云母(KMg3(Si3Al)O10(OH)2)、黑云母(K(Mg,Fe)3(Si3Al)O10(OH)2)、绿鳞石(K(Mg,Fe3+)(Si4-xAlx)O10(OH)2,其中x=0-0.2)和海绿石。
蛭石黏土矿物包括被水分子层隔开的三八面体的云母或滑石的片。
蒙皂石黏土矿物来源自叶蜡石和滑石的结构。与叶蜡石和滑石不同,蒙皂石的2:1硅酸盐层由于在八面体片和四面体片中的离子取代而具有少量的负电荷。蒙皂石的结构式包括(Al2-yMg2+/y)(Si4-xAlx)O10(OH)2M+/x+y nH2O,其中M+是表示成一价阳离子的可层间交换的阳离子,并且其中x和y分别是四面体取代和八面体取代的量(0.2≤x+y≤0.6)。y>x的蒙皂石被称为蒙脱石,x>y的那些被称为贝德石。绿脱石是其中八面体片中的主要阳离子是三价铁离子而不是铝或镁的那些。贝德石是其中铬(Cr3+)和钒(V3+)也被发现作为八面体片中的主要阳离子的那些。三八面体铁镁蒙皂石具有下式(Mg,Fe2+)3(Si4-xAlx)O10(OH)2M+/xnH2O。
绿泥石黏土矿物包括:斜绿泥石(Mg5Al)(Si3Al)O10(OH)8;鲕绿泥石(Fe5 2+Al)(Si3Al)O10(OH)8;锰铝绿泥石(Mn5Al)(Si3Al)O10(OH)8;和(镍绿泥石)(Ni5Al)(Si3Al)O10(OH)8。
海泡石和坡缕石是纸莎草状或纤维状的水合硅酸镁矿物。它们包括组成Si2O5的二维四面体片,并且被认为具有在角处阶梯式连接的2:1层的窄的条或带。海泡石的结构是Mg8Si12O30(OH)4(OH2)4(H2O)8,而坡缕石的结构是(Mg,Al)5Si8O20(OH)2(OH2)4(H2O)4。
间层黏土矿物包括各种黏土矿物的混合物。实例包括累托石(二八面体云母/蒙脱石)、绿泥间膨润石(二八面体绿泥石/蒙皂石)、柯绿泥石(三八面体蛭石/绿泥石)、水里云母(三八面体云母/蛭石)、阿里石(滑石/皂石)和绿泥间滑石(滑石/绿泥石)。其他实例包括伊利石/蒙皂石、海绿石/蒙皂石、二八面体云母/绿泥石、二八面体云母/蛭石和高岭石/蒙皂石。
伊毛缟石黏土矿物是具有SiO2Al2O3 2.5H2O的大致组成的铝硅酸盐。水铝英石是以Si-O-Al键为主导的水合的铝硅酸盐矿物,即大部分铝原子为四面体配位。与伊毛缟石不同,水铝英石的形态从细的圆颗粒、通过环形颗粒到不规则聚集体变化。
上述黏土矿物中的任一种都可以在本发明的情况下使用。另外,虽然预期可以使用天然/未经纯化或未经分离或非合成的形式,但在一些方面,也可以经分离或经纯化或合成地制备黏土矿物。使用经分离或经纯化或合成地制备的黏土矿物的原因之一是减少或移除当在重整反应中被用作催化剂的载体时可能引起或导致矿物的烧结或在矿物表面上的焦化的杂质。在合成气制备期间可能引起烧结或焦化的这类杂质包括铁、镍、锰、钠、钾、氯化物、钙、锂、铷、铍、钡、SiO2和/或有机杂质。举例来说,当在高温、如在用于制备合成气的烃的二氧化碳重整中所使用的高温下加热黏土矿物时,黏土矿物中的这类杂质(例如铁或钾)可能熔合。因此,移除或减少这类杂质的量因此可以有助于减少或避免烧结和/或焦化。
对于在本发明的情况下可以使用的碱土金属/金属氧化物载体,这些载体具有以下一般结构:D—E,其中D是M1或M1M2,且M1和M2各自分别是选自Mg、Ca、Ba和Sr的碱土金属,E是选自Al2O4、SiO2、ZrO2、TiO2和CeO2的金属氧化物。具体化合物是上文和本说明书全文所公开的。这些化合物是从多种来源可商购获得的(例如Sigma-Co.LLC(美国,密苏里州,圣路易斯);Alfa Aesar GmbH&Co KG,A Johnson Matthey Company(德国))。
可以通过本说明书实施例部分使用的方法或本领域技术人员已知的方法(例如沉淀/共沉淀、溶胶-凝胶、模板/表面衍生的金属氧化物合成、混合金属氧化物的固态合成、微乳技术、溶剂热、声化学、燃烧合成等)制造所有的载体材料。
C.催化材料
预期当前用于在高温下进行的反应过程的已知催化材料中的任一种都可以使用。其理由是,镧系氧化物涂覆减少烧结,这能够使其适用于多种多样的催化材料。例如,催化材料可以是催化金属,例如Pt、Pd、Au、Ag、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、Mo、Rh、Ru或Ir,或其任意组合。在一些实例中,催化材料可以是贵金属和贱金属的组合。这样的非限制性组合可以包括PtX、PdX、AuX、AgX、RhX、RuX或IrX,其中X=Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn或Mo。
在具体反应如由烃制备合成气中,可以使用金属催化剂(例如Pt、Pd、Au、Ag、Ir、Ni、Co、Rh、Ru、La、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba、Li、Na、K、Fe、Sn、Cu、Zn、Zr、Mo、Nd、Bi或Mn,或其任意组合)、金属氧化物催化剂(例如La2O3、Ru2O3、CeO2、ZrO2、ZnO、MoO3、WO3、Nb2O5和/或Ta2O)、烧绿石催化剂以及用于由烃制备合成气的其他已知的催化剂(例如钙钛矿型固体溶液、负载在各种金属氧化物如Al2O3、SiO2、SBA-15、MCM-40、TiO2、ZrO2、CeO2等上的各种金属如Pt、Pd、Ir、Ni、Co、Rh、Ru、La、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba、Fe、Sn、Cu或Zn)。烧绿石催化剂的非限制性实例包括具有以下结构的那些:
AxBy-zCzO7
其中,A是La、Ce、Nd、Bi、Sc或Y元素的三价离子,其中0<x<2;B是Zr、Pt、Pd、Ni、Mo、Rh、Ru或Ir元素的四价离子,其中0<y-z<2;C是Ba、Ca、Cu、Mg、Ru、Rh、Pt、Pd、Ni、Co或Mo的二价、三价或四价的离子,其中0<z<2。
D.制造镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂的方法
本发明的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂可以通过本领域已知的提供镧系氧化物在载体材料和/或催化材料的表面附着的方法制造。附着可以通过化学结合或物理结合或其二者。在具体的例子中,结合可以是M1—M2结合(其中M1是来自镧系氧化物的金属,M2是来自载体材料或催化材料的金属)或M1—O结合(其中M1是来自镧系氧化物的金属,O是来自载体材料或催化材料的氧)或O—M1结合(其中O是来自镧系氧化物的金属,M1是来自载体材料或催化材料的金属)。
除了已知的方法,已经发现以下方法可以用于制备本发明的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂。
步骤1:将催化材料溶解于孔体积当量的水并用载体材料浸渍。然后,使经浸渍的载体材料进行干燥步骤(从100℃至150℃)1至3小时,然后在150℃至250℃煅烧3至5小时。
步骤2:将镧系氧化物的盐溶解于孔体积当量的水。然后用溶解的镧系氧化物浸渍步骤1的材料。
步骤3:将步骤2的混合物在100℃至200℃干燥1至3小时,然后在800℃至1000℃煅烧7至9小时。
可以改变成分的量以得到镧系氧化物与催化材料、与载体材料、或者与负载型催化剂的期望的重量比。另外,可以改变材料以制备在本发明的情况下期望的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂。在实施例部分提供了该方法的具体的实施例。
如实施例部分所说明的,所制备的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂是在高温、如一般用于合成气制备或甲烷重整反应的温度(即700℃至1100℃,或者725℃、750℃、775℃或800℃至900℃、1000℃或1100℃)下抗烧结的材料。另外,所制备的催化剂可以有效地用于在800℃至1000℃或800℃至1100℃的温度下,1巴至30巴的绝对压力下,和/或500h-1至10000h-1的气时空速(GHSV)下进行的甲烷的二氧化碳重整反应。

实施例
将通过具体实施例更详细地对本发明进行描述。以下实施例仅用于说明的目的而提供,并不意在以任何方式限制本发明。本领域技术人员会容易地识别可以改变或修改而得到基本相同的结果的各种非关键参数。
实施例1
(CeO2涂覆的催化剂的合成)
使用以下的两步法来合成10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3催化剂。在第一步骤中,将0.17g四氨合氯化铂水合物盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用4.9g干燥的Al2O3浸渍。将生成的产物首先在125℃干燥2小时,然后在200℃煅烧4小时。在第二步骤中,将0.5g硝酸铈铵盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用Pt/Al2O3样品浸渍。将生成的混合物首先在150℃干燥2小时,然后在900℃煅烧8小时。通过该方法制备另外的催化剂,将CeO2重量百分比分别调整为2重量%、5重量%和8重量%(即2重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3;5重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3;和10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3)。
使用以下两步过程来合成接枝在高岭土载体上的10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt催化剂。在第一步骤中,将0.17g四氨合氯化铂水合物盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用4.9g干燥的高岭土浸渍。将生成的产物首先在125℃干燥2小时,然后在200℃煅烧4小时。在第二步骤中,将0.5g硝酸铈铵盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用Pt/高岭土样品浸渍。将生成的混合物首先在150℃干燥2小时,然后在900℃煅烧8小时。可以根据需要通过调整成分的量和种类从而得到不同的重量百分比和催化剂。
使用以下过程来合成负载在MgAl2O4载体上的10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt催化剂。通过两步初湿浸渍技术合成催化剂。首先,在两步法中合成10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt催化材料。在第一步骤中,将0.17g四氨合氯化铂水合物盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用4.9g干燥的MgAl2O4浸渍。将生成的产物首先在125℃干燥2小时,然后在200℃煅烧4小时。在第二步骤中,将0.5g硝酸铈铵盐溶解于孔体积当量的水,并用Pt/MgAl2O4样品浸渍。将生成的混合物首先在150℃干燥2小时,然后在900℃煅烧8小时。
可以调整材料的量和种类从而制备期望的催化材料,所述催化材料用镧系氧化物涂覆,并且具有改善的烧结(抗烧结)特性。
实施例2
(CeO2的烧结效果)
通过扫描透射电子显微镜(STEM)分别分析2重量%Pt/Al2O3和10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3。图1给出了(A)在250℃还原的2重量%Pt/Al2O3,(B)在800℃还原4小时的2重量%Pt/Al2O3,和(C)在800℃还原4小时的10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3的STEM图。在250℃还原的2重量%Pt/Al2O3结果是粒度≈2nm,且均匀地分散(A)。图1(B)源自在800℃还原的2重量%Pt/Al2O3的催化剂。明显地,Pt颗粒尺寸增加,且粒度为≈2nm至20nm。相比之下,10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3催化剂中的Pt颗粒在CeO2的存在下已经被完全隔离,且在STEM图像中无法看到(图1(C))。
还对2重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3、5重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3和10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/Al2O3催化剂进行了另外的实验。2重量%、5重量%和8重量%的CeO2不足以隔开2重量%Pt/Al2O3催化剂中所有的Pt颗粒。因此,完全隔离2重量%Pt/Al2O3中的Pt颗粒所需的CeO2的最小量是10重量%。
CeO2的存在通过在原子尺度上隔离Pt金属颗粒从而克服其聚集,这使得它们能够在高温下用作催化剂并且避免由于烧结作用导致的催化剂的催化剂失活。
实施例3
(使用10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭土催化剂的CDRM反应)
在800℃和1巴的绝对压力下使用10重量%CeO2/2重量%Pt/高岭土催化剂进行甲烷的二氧化碳重整(CDRM)20小时。反应前,首先在900℃,10%H2气氛中还原催化剂4小时。然后,通过将气体混合物改变为10%CH4+10%CO2+80%N2来分别开始CDRM反应。使用了GC和质谱二者监控气体组成。使用200至500目大小的催化剂粉末用于测试,所使用的GHSV为5000h-1。
从反应所获得的CO/H2比例为约1:1(参见图2)。另外,发现催化剂在20小时的持续时间内稳定而没有任何失活。尤其是,在高于800℃的温度在这些催化剂中的任一种中都没有观察到烧结或焦生成(催化剂上没有深黑色的外观)。通过在800℃在开放大气中进行所使用催化剂的灼烧失量测试证实了没有焦化。相比之下,在700℃的温度观察到了焦生成(催化剂颜色变为深黑)。但是,在该降低的温度没有观察到烧结。
Claims (10)
1.一种镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其包含:
(a)负载型催化剂,所述负载型催化剂包含载体材料和催化材料;以及,
(b)镧系氧化物,
其中,所述镧系氧化物附着至所述负载型催化剂的表面的至少一部分。
2.根据权利要求1所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述催化材料是催化金属。
3.根据权利要求2所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述镧系氧化物与所述催化金属的重量比是至少5:1,或者5:1至10:1,或者6:1至8:1。
4.根据权利要求2至3中任一项所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述催化金属包括Pt、Pd、Au、Ag、Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn、Mo、Rh、Ru或Ir,或其任意组合。
5.根据权利要求4所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述催化金属是Ni、Pt、Rh、Au、Ag或Ru,或其任意组合。
6.根据权利要求5所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述催化金属是Pt。
7.根据权利要求1所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂,其中,所述催化材料是贵金属和贱金属的组合;或者,其中,所述催化材料包括PtX、PdX、AuX、AgX、RhX、RuX或IrX,其中X=Ni、Co、Fe、Mn、Cu、Zn或Mo。
8.一种减少或防止负载型催化剂在使用期间的烧结的方法,其中,所述负载型催化剂包含载体材料和催化材料,所述方法包括以与不包含镧系氧化物的负载型催化剂相比时足以减少或防止负载型催化剂在使用期间的烧结的量将镧系氧化物接枝到所述负载型催化剂的表面的至少一部分。
9.一种制备气态混合物的方法,其包括:在足以制备包含氢和一氧化碳的气态混合物的条件下,使包含烃和氧化剂的反应性气体混合物与根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂接触。
10.一种催化重整反应性气体混合物的方法,其包括:
(a)提供包含烃和氧化剂的反应性气体混合物;
(b)提供根据权利要求1至7中任一项所述的镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂;和
(c)在足以制备包含一氧化碳和氢的气态混合物的条件下,使所述反应性气体混合物与所述镧系氧化物涂覆的催化剂接触。
